Updates failing from CC errors U44M1l216 and 49 - anyone else getting these?
Photoshop CC and 2014 error code U44M1l216, Illustrator CC 2014 error code 49, and Bridge CC error code U44M1l216
Had to reinstall Illustrator CC 2014 and now it's saying installation succeeded but a patch failed...
This worked for me
On a mac:
User > Library > Application Support > Adobe > AAMUpdater > 1.0
Delete the 1.0 folder. Quit and restart Creative Cloud. Update as normal

Anyone else getting these error messages in the admin?

So, sure it works, most of the time, but who goes to admin to view one page then leave, In regular use, i am getting a few of these errors every session.

Reading your posts here on the forums it really is becoming clear you have issues with your connectiong ot BC over anything else. As people and support have pointed out, no one seems to be having the level of issues you are with BC at the moment so you need to look at what the causes could be. Have you run trace routes, pinged the BC servers, see what comes back, see if any packet loss is there, checked your net connection, tried different browsers, different machine..
I would go through all that if you have not done so already to indentify the problem.
All working for me in the sense I am not seeing the issues your getting. -

I have an iPhone 6 and an iPad air and each time I try to download the IOS 8.1 update I get the message "software update failed. An error occurred downloading iOS 8." What is wrong? I have a 2nd generation iPod touch. I have not updated the software from version 2.2.1. When I connect to iTunes to update to 4.2, I keep getting an error message. Has anyone else had this issue and figured out a way to fix it?

Attempt to restore your iOS device two more times. If the issue is still unresolved, the device may need service.
The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

I want to upgrade the software (currently I have Mac OS X 10.6.4) but when the mac is downloading the new version i get an error message and is not possible get the most updated software: Mac OS X 10.6.8 or either the most recent itunes why?!?!?!
Then you either have a network problem or a hardware problem or a corrupted hard drive. You might try:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
You can also try downloading from another computer on a different network connection. -

We have 5 of DELL Precision T1700 Workstation, and I upgraded the BIOS version to A15 from A10 with the T1700A15.exe from USB drive.
Under the upgrade I've seen the next message:
ME FW UPDATE FAILED . Internal Error : 0x00002243
The machine's looks work correctly.
This message was just a warning?
What can I do?
Can I update the ME FW with external tools?

PeterDOS bootable pendrive is not a resource that is supported. DOS Diskette and I mean MSDOS not win9X dos is required for earlier models. This model Contrary to popular belief the INTEL ME firmware and BIOS MUST BE UPDATED thru WINDOWS run as administrator.
The reason for this is that Bios updates and Firmware are signed with a certificate and DOS does not support this. -

Select the network connection service you want to use (such as Wi-Fi or Ethernet, unless you named it something else) from the list, and then click Advanced.
Click DNS, and then click Add at the bottom of the DNS Servers list. Enter the IPv4 address for the DNS server.

and then you can download the update via itunes
dont forget to put the original DNS back after the download -

I need help, I pluged my iphone to itunes and got a message that said there was an update to download and update, I did but when itunes was rebooting and updating I got an error message. and now the phone is telling me that it cant be activated, to plug it in to itunes or to contact support care.
That message usually indicates that your phone was hacked to unlock it from the original phone carrier, then when you updated or restored it locked back to that carrier.

I have been trying to get the latest software update on my iPhone 4S 16GB for a few days. All of my apps are closed, iTunes version is current, and no other apps need updating. I am on WIFI and I just backed up my phone again; however, the software update will not work. The "estimated time remaining" fluctuates by random amounts as it tries to update as well (it may say 1 minute, then 15 minutes, then 2, then 8 - regardless of what the blue progress bar shows).
Here is the error message I receive: "Software Update Failed. An error occurred downloading iOS 6." Throughout the day today, I've also received a message stating, "cannot find update" - or something similar (I can't recall it verbatim).

IT has ios5.1.1 and every time I try to update to ios6 it gives me software update failed error.
THe software was downloaded fine and it did try to install but no luck.

Your error is connect to hardware, try these steps to solve it:
Related errors: 1, 3, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 1002, 1004, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1667, or 1669.
These errors mean that your device or computer might have a hardware issue that stops the update or restore from completing.
Check that your security software and settings aren't blocking your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.
Make sure that your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support.

Mac mini fan starts every 20 secs
After reviewing posts with similar issues, I tried: - Rresetting PRAM - Resetting the SMC - Since I wanted to do a clean install for a while, I did a Snow Leopard clean install. After all of this, the mac mini fan starts and inmediatley goes quiet.
