Updates for my apps from the Android Market get stuck on the download often.

Its as if they are perpetually downloading or installing. It happens at least a couple of times a week.

I think it's a problem with the market app that is installed. they need to update their market version.
Using a different rom, and market works fine. I'll leave it at that.

I am not sure whether the music will get restored.
Anyway try this
1.Connect iPhone to PC.
2.Open iTunes
3.Open iPhone Summary
4.Go to Apps Tab
5.Under File Sharing Section Click on Music Downloader
6.Right side if you see your songs click on one song and press (CTRL + A).(hope you are using windows) and click on save and then save to a folder on your computer.
7. Later just do steps till 5 to put to new iPhone then ...........
8.Click on save and select the music files which u want to put in that app.
9.Click on apply to sync.
10.You should be having the music in that app

Normally, I would suggest restoring the iPad and uninstall and reinstall iTunes but you have done both of those things - more times than you ever imagined!
Have you thought about turning auto syncing off?
Without connecting your iPad to your laptop, start iTunes. Click on Edit. Click on Preferences. Click on Devices. Check the box next to "Prevent your iPod etc. from automatically syncing." Click OK.
If you do this you can backup the iPad right away before it syncs. You may want to go into all of the iTunes tabs and just make sure that all of the current content on the iPad is selected to sync before you actually do sync.
This doesn't solve the problem, but it would prevent the automatic sync and erasing content. Hopefully, in the next few days- when iOS 5 is released - you will also be relieved of this weird iPad behavior - since the iOS devices are supposed to become PC free.
BTW - and this is no excuse for what you are experiencing, but I have found that some of the game apps that I had on my iPad turned out to be quite troublesome and after I removed them, my problems went away. I know that is almost sacrilege with regard to the Angry Birds addiction .... But I'm just saying ...

A iPhone 4S (currently in possession of it) was dropped into the ocean and we can get it into DFU and recovery mode, but we can't get it to go to the lock screen or home screen the phone just gets stuck on the apple symbol, how can I fix this?

Hey, apparently this iPhone 4S was dropped into the ocean and the light for the camera and a light where the 3G/4G bar is are both glowing. The iPhone 4S, I assume, was on iOS 5.1.1 I need help getting off info from it WITHOUT RESTORING IT. I'm not sure if Apple has any third party apps that they are allowed to suggest to us or if I'm on my own on this one, but if you guys can help I would greatly apperciate it.

Those are definitely features of liquid damage. First step after completely drying the iPhone would be battery replacement. The camera circuitry and proximity sensor circuitry are surging because you are seeing these lights.
New battery may get this booted back up so you can recover data, or even get the iPhone working again.

I was doing the update for itunes and now I can't get into iTunes, the box that comes up says iTunes was not installed properly and I should re install it. I have thousands of songs on iTunes, will I lose all?

Whatis going on with iTunes. I can't get back on after doing an udate. It says the update failed, but I can't get back in to try again.

Go into Programs and Features and uninstall:
iTunes
Apple Application Support
Apple Mobile Device Support
Apple Software Update
Reboot. Download a fresh copy of iTunes. Right click on the exe file and select Run as Administrator.
I did this and it reinstalled as if nothing happened. All of my songs, podcasts and playlists were still there.

Download of Update for Mac OS X 10 .5.3 gets stuck. Help!

This is my friend's problem - mine was fine in downloading. He has had the most recent Upgrade- Quicktime and Airport Utility both came down fine, but for some reason he is having trouble in getting the Mac OS 10.5.3 upgrade. he has tried switching everything off and going in to do it manually but every time it starts then the screen says " preparing target volume - configuring Installation" and it then goes no further.
Can anyone help?

Hi Liz,
If you navigate & open the application in Finder: Applications>Utilities>Terminal
Once the terminal application has opened up, type the following into it:
sudo softwareupdate -i -a
It should then go off and find and install the available updates.

I can't upload our packaged app. Each time I attempt to upload the zip file the system uploads it and then it gets stuck on the "validating .....zip" part. :(

I have created an app in accordance with your requirements. Most notably, the app runs well and error free in your provided simulator. However, as I attempt to submit the app on the https://marketplace.firefox.com/developers/submit/ page, immediately after the .zip file (contains the required manifest.webapp in the root directory) is uploaded, the system just gets stuck at the "uploading APP.zip" part and I am never allowed to proceed. This is quite frustrating. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Flash movie gets stuck in the middle

Hey,
I have simple sliding pages mechanism in my flash file, all done with AS3 code. Now the pages, which are movieclips, are slid off the screen on a button press. Sometimes, everything goes smoothly, but on some people's computers the sliding pages get stuck in the middle, and then the next slide starts from the wrong position. This throws everything off the loop...I cannot understand why this is happening..as it only happens sometimes...I have rechecked the code millions of times...why is this happening??? Is it the code??

Can't say anything without seeing the codes.
I guess you have some errors at calculating the sliding effect.
When clicked too fast sliding errors occur.
You have to disable the click event till the the page stops at the right position (removeListener for the button, then addListener....)

Vista and VDA/Vmware VDI - gets stuck in the factory

I've created a VDA/VMware /vdi demo and have everything working fine with XP.
However with Vista the vm's get stuck in the factory.
I've created a custom specification in VMWare for Vista.
I have disable RDP and written the SetupComplete script to enable it again once sysprep
is finished, however it still gets stuck.
I suspect it is windows firewall stopping as this gets turned on by default - even though my template system has it turned off.
Any ideas please?

The mobile version of Firefox for Android requires a processor that supports the ARMv7 architecture, the LG Optimus P500 does not meet that requirement, it supports the ARMv6 architecture.

Getting Firefox Mobile from a location other than the android market

I love firefox and would like to use it on my android tablet a Viewsonic VB730.
I realize this is not in the supported device list but would like to give it a try anyway.
The issue is that the VB730 does not have the Android Market app on it.
Is there another location I can get Firefox for Android? ( Perhaps Amazon.com ??? )

You can use http://bit.ly/fennecftp to download from outside the market. You will need to check back every 6 weeks to install the latest version. There is no automatic updates outside the market.

My iPhone 4s iOS 7.0.4 will not update music or apps from iTunes 11.1.3. this was true of my pc and the new MacPro.

My iphone 4s ios 7/0/4 will not update music or apps from itunes 11.1.3. this was true with my pc since ios 7.0.3 even with update 7.0.4 and now continues with my new MacPro also runing itunes 11.1.3. as most state in previous threads, syncs all non itunes related data with no issue and appears to work correctly on itunes data but then hangs on the last step of updating until it times out. i have tried marking specific music to transfer, setting up new playlist, deleting some old playlist on phone but stopped short of restoring my phone back to new due to the amount of non itunes data that i will lose. The itunes setup on the macpro was completely with the download of all music from a previous external backup and the creation of new playlist - on the first sync with existing phone it did ask to overwrite all phone itunes data with macpro itunes data which i did accept - no different result - no changes on phone.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If the problem continues, take the device to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.

No. purchases are forever tied to the apple ID used to buy them. Delete them and buy your own copies.

Depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
If it then works on your computer's iTunes but not your phone/iPad then try logging out of your account on the phone/iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it
