Updates information for App store
I bought Wallpaper wizard Lite, Monitor centor and other applications.
But Wallpaper wizard Lite and Monitor centor shows "Update" on the shopping list tab, but no update indication on update tab.
So I delete Wallpaper wizard Lite and Monitor, and re-install them.
But they still shows "update" in the shopping list, but no update in the update tab!
This happens only for Wallpaper wizard Lite and Monitor! this was also happened on Lion!
Is this a second hand Mac? If so, you need to erase the Mac and install the version of OS X that shipped installed on the Mac from the factory. Then you set the Mac up as new with your Apple ID.

If you have the grey "X" in "Purchases", see if hiding the purchase will also hide its available updates. I cannot verify this since I have no available updates at the moment. -

What happens when you try to change your card details ?
You should be able to change your payment details on your computer's iTunes by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on your iPhone then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (Settings > Store on iOS 5 and below) and select 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

I have read and re read this security bulletin and I have checked software update and the " app store" and there is no mention of "motion" or "motion 5.1"

I have 3 Iphone 4's. One of them updates from the App Store with no issues. My other two which are under the same AppleID will not let me do updates. when I try it asks for my Credit card info then after i enter it it says "security code invalid". Has anyone else had this issue and how have you fixed it?

If you can't access the App Store from the Apple menu, Dock, or Applications folder installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you.
It's ok to do this even you are already running v10.6.8.

I use iphone5, I see an app update on the app store. but when App store and click on the update tab, it doesn't show me which application to update.. just gives me a blank page.!!!! I wouldn't able to know what app has to be updated, untill and unless i get check for each every app on the app store installed on my iphone... what is the solution for this.!!!! can any1 one help me out.!!!!

You can probably change the ID in the "iTunes and App stores" settings on the iPad....click on the wrong account ID , select sign out, then log in with your own ID, I have not done this but I think it works.....
but I would be more inclined to to the factory reset and start afresh. -
I have I movie 10.0.03 on My Mac On Friday there was an update on the App store which crashed Mid Download, Now when I try and retry the download I get the Following error message,This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled< has anyone else had this problem?? i changed my app store from canada to india and for that i'd to update my payment option details for app store and was charged with Rs. 60 twice. once the day i added the card details. and then another one 3 days later. why did that happen?
i read soemwhere that it automatically gets credited back within 3-5 working days.
waited for more than 7 days but no credit was given back.
m feeling bad that i got charged without making any purchase.Each time that you add or change the card details on your account (and possibly also if you change your name and address, as the card needs to be registered to the same name and address as on your iTunes account) you will be charged a temporary store holding charge to check that the card details are valid and that the card is active, but it should disappear within a few days or so (the amount of time that it takes will vary by card issuer) : store holding charge.
Give it a few more days, and if it still hasn't disappeared then try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption -
Is the GB 9.0.4 update today at App Store needed for all users, or just for Lion? Will it be in Software Update or is it paid update only? Please clarify.

Is there a way to remove installed updates from the App Store update window? I keep getting an alert that I have an update for Apple Remote Desktop. It says its installed, but the alert and the app keep showing up. Annoying!!

If you check for software updates using the App Store in OS X 10.8 and get "NSURLErrorDomain error -1100" the problem may be with your Software Update preferences. This is particularly likely if you were using a custom Apple Software Update server. To solve the problem, quit the App Store, move the following two files (if present) to the trash, restart, and only then rerun App Store updates:
/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist

I was recently trying to upgrade to mountain lion through the app store. I have unreliable Internet from a cable company whom I will not name, but we all know who they are. My Internet dropped while downloading the upgrade. Once I went through the notorious unplug the modem/router and plugged it back in to gain Internet connectivity again, I could not resume. No matter what I did, the app store kept displaying "an error occurred." I am hoping that those with the same issue read this first to save them hours of skimming through the Internet to find a solution. Here are the steps to take:
1. Make sure you have reestablished Internet connection
2. Chances are you got frustrated when you tried to resume/unpause the download and clicked the "X" to the left. If so, select the "Store" drop-down menu from the App Store and select "View My Account." There should be an option to unhide your purchase. You know what to do.
3. There is also an option to reset all warnings for buying and downloading under "View My Account." Do this, click "Done," sign out of the App Store and quit the App Store.
4. Open the Preferences in safari and select Privacy. Select "Remove All Website Data." Just do it.
5. Launch the app store and sign in.
6. Now, if you "Check for Unfinished Downloads" everything works peachy.
I hope this helps. Not much I can do for your Internet connection though.

Are updates still available for OS below Maverick?That error may result from connecting to a cellular network via a phone or mobile broadband device. If that's what you're doing, try another network.

Why do I have two icons for iMovie '11 after downloading the update from the App Store? Previously I had iMovie '09.
Do you see two versions of iMovie in your Application folder?
You can drag the icons out of the dock and then drag what you want back to the dock from the Application folder.
