Hello guys, i cannot download updates from the updater, it gives an error that server is not responding, what to do?
PS: I have already disabled the Microsoft WiFi Miniport but still not downloading

(Responding to your PM) I'd love to help but I'm not too expert on update problems.
Asutosh Nigam from Adobe stops by the forum from time to time to help with installer issues.  It's possible he'll see your request and ask you for log info, etc.

  • Updates not downloading properly after installing Mavericks

    Hi there,
I downloaded and installed Mavericks without any problems on Monday, however all subsequent updates (for pages, itunes, keynotes, HP printer etc) are not downloading properly. The updates will start downloading from the App store but after downloading about 10M the update will finish downloading and "install". However when I check the respective programs it's clear the program has not updated properly and when I restart the App store the update once again appears in the avaliable updates panel. If I continue to update via the App store, by restarting everytime the update "installs", I can complete the update... which is a complete pain in the a**.
Has anyone else had the same problem?

Have you tried reinstalling the latest version of Chrome?

  • Software Update NOT downloading Updates

I am trying to download several updates via the Software Update in the apple drop down menu in OSX Lion 10.7.2.  It shows me several updates (iTunes, Java, HP printer, Digital camera RAW) but when I select Update Now, the progress bar appears and each update says Zero bytes downloaded and finally a window shows up and says: None of the selected updates could be installed. A network error has occurred. Check your Internet connection, and then try again.
My internet is working and have been able to browse the web and even download the latest iphone update via iTunes.
I tried to restart my iMac several times and also to download them one at a time but no luck.  I also tried to see if it was a firewall but it says the firewall in System Preferences is off.
    Can somebody help?

I used disk utility and found that disk was corrupt it was successfully repaired by disk utility and it also found a bunch or "unexpected" permissions and i clicked repair permissions successfully.  I restarted and again tried to download the updates via software update and it would not download.  it said:
None of the selected updates could be installed.
A network error has occurred. Check your Internet connection, and then try again.
I was able this time to install the updates that I downloaded from the apple support website.
it still seems like there is an error with installer.  also I'm not sure in I just didnt notice before but now there is a guest icon on my log on screen.  I could have sowrd it was just the two profiles I originally created.

  • Software updates not downloading from App store

    Hi,
I have 9 updates available in the app store. When I select update all or even update one of them, all I get is the whirling ball. I turned off my antiviral software but it still isn't working. Any ideas?

I found the problem. I think the AVG antiviral was blocking the download. They updated it a couple of days ago. I turned it off. But it didn't solve the problem. I restarted my computer. When I opened AVG I noticed it was updating again. Im guessing that they found out that they were blocking updates. Now the updates are downloading and installing.  I still have AVG turned of while I'm updating all my software for Yosemite..

  • Adobe Updates not downloading - available but "try again later" error with link to "serial number not qualifying"

I just upgraded computers (PC w/Windows 8 64 bit) and I did a fresh install of my copy of Adobe Photoshop CS5 (along with Bridge and Camera Raw).
The install asked for serial numbers which I provided and the installation was a success - however, I can not view full resolution images, only thumbs
in Bridge and I can not open RAW files from my Canon 5D Mark III (though, I can my files with the older Canon 7D).  I WAS able to view and work with
the newer RAW files on the older computer.
Under "Help", "Updates", it says they are available but after appearing to upload to my computers, I get this:
      Adobe Bridge CS5 4.0.5 Update
There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.
Adobe Extension Manager CS5 5.0 Update
There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.
      Photoshop Camera Raw 6.7 Update
There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.
There is then a link to customer service which brings me to this:
    Creative Cloud Help /
Error "This serial number is not for a qualifying product" | CS6, CS5.5, CS5
What gives?  It was a qualifying product a few months back.  Even if Adobe stopped supporting CS5 (???), I should still have access to past updates
that I had already once received.
I tried 3 times in 1 hour - no luck in getting back to a state I was in only yesterday, and months earlier.
    /Mitch

Apparently, Adobe has very little interest in it's past customers unless they shell out more cash.
I have never seen such a move as this - to REMOVE support and older update links off the Web in an effort to force an upgrade.
My tech support stated (after first stating I was simply out of luck) that he was graciously allowed to make an exception and provided me with a link to support that is strangely
hidden and /or removed from public access.
    Here is that link:

  • Nokia Updater - not downloading update.

Hello. While I was downloading the updates today for my n95 it got to 80mb out of the 113mb or whatver it is.
Anyway, I lost internet connection and it never finished downloading the update.
The phone is fine and still works a treat, however. Whenever I go to update to firmware v12 it does not even search or try to download the updates anymore. It just tries to install the update.
I have searched high and low on my computer and deleted all my temp files and re-installed all nokia update software but it still skips the download part and goes straight to install.
    And of course, it fails.
    Any ideas?

  • Apps/app updates not downloading since ios 5.1

I've restarted the phone 6 or 7 times, signed out and back into the app store 5 or 6 times and app updates are stuck 'Waiting...' indefinitely.
iPhone 4S, >7GB free and 5 bars of '4G' service.

I'm having the same issue - you're not all crazy. It seems to have been an issues since yesterday 3/15 when i tried to update 4 apps before bed. Perhaps it's related to the many many apps being updated to retina display for the ipad that people are downloading. I also bought music in iTunes on my iPhone last night and the song downloads were intermittent.
The apps I'm "waiting" on dowloading were there by morning and I just clicked on two others that are saying "waiting" just now (3/16 morning) and we'll see how long they take before they load.
I also did the rebooting and closing / deleting of those same apps too and it didn't help things along. "Waiting" seems to be the thing to do unfortunately.

  • How long does Lion update not download take?

Download was quick, install not so much. Ive had blue screen with spinning circle for 1 1/2 hours? I have new 27 inch i5, duo core with 1 TB. How long should this take? Ive never had an update take this long? Do I need to do something to move it along or restart?

This endednup being the Server download timing out. I rebooted the iMac and restarted the download. 30 mins for it to run the update.

  • App updates not downloading

My ipad and iphone shows 32 app updates. When click "update all " the download does not completely download freezing the app from being used
    please assist

Better to not use your devices while they are updating. That slows down the process, especially when updating so many apps at one time.
    Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You may have to re enter your Wi-Fi password.

When I click to install it simply comes back with no specific error code and does not do any installation.
This has happened now at least 6 times! Getting a bit frustrated here.

    Hi,
Please go your VGA manufacturer official website to check and install proper driver for test.

  • Apps updates not downloading

I have 36 updates for iphone 3G, growing by the day. Everytime I go into download apps it says NO Updates Available, try again later. It has nothing to do with Anti Virus software as I disenable and still nothing happens. I have tried WiFi and same problem. Just wont connect to iTunes store but I can connect to buy new apps. Please help.

    Hi ..
    Restart your router.
If that doesn't help, it may be a Wi-Fi issue.
    Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You may have to re enter your Wi-Fi password.

  • SCCM 2012 Endpoint Protection initial update not downloaded

    Hi,
I'm new to SCCM 2012. I recently started deploying the Endpoint  Protection to all of clients (Windos 7 and XP Pro).
I've noticed that some clients have not been updating their initial definitions after the Endpoint Protection Software is installed.
Since they are not updating their detonation the client remains unprotected with the status icon in red.
The odd thing is that some of our computers do the initial update just fine while others are effected.
Also if I click update manually then the update goes through no issue, but with 100+ clients not updated its not something I want to do manually.
The clients are set to receive auto updates via a auto deployment rule.
Also the antimalware policy is set to do updates as well in this order:
    Config Mgr
    WSUS
    Microsoft Malware Protection Center
    Microsoft Update
    Has anyone seen this before?
If I need to upload any specific logs just let me know.
    Many Thanks

Do you have Software update configured (and working) thru ConfigMgr or using a standalone WSUS?
