Updating A Cube past 10.4.3 fails

Yup, I'm trying to squeeze a bit more life out of my G4 450 Cube. I upgraded it to 10.4 as soon as it was released and it worked well for about a year. Including updates to 10.4.1 and 10.4.2 - even 10.4.3.
Then I allowed Software Update to up to the next build and it gave me an error - something to the effect that it wouldn't allow the update to install. No big deal. Everything was working fine so I skipped it.
Then the next builds came out (X.4.5 or 4.6) and it still wouldn't work so I downloaded the the combined update. Upon running it the computer gave me the "!" screen and told me I needed to reboot. Well, reboot it wouldn't. It hung at the startup screen. Just to be sure I left it alone, for about an hour and when I came back the beach balls wasn't even spinning. Repeated reboots gave the same thing.
So I reinstalled 10.4.0 and tried again. Same thing. Reinstall and lived with 10.4.0 for a few months.
Now 10.4.8 is out and I'd really like to upgrade - I'm having frequent crashes (Black screen with white text in the upper left) and I haven't been able to sync my Treo via bluetooth (apparently this was fixed in 10.4.2 or x.x.3.
Any ideas of things I should try before attempting the combined update? It's downloading now ("download only"). I've already tried disk utility and fixing permissions, cleaned it up using Onyx, and a fresh install of 10.4.0. None has helped in the past. Finally failing any ideas about this does anyone know where I can find 10.4.3 combined update?

Harddrive is a newer Maxtor (much louder than the stock but also much louder) and the Firmware is 4.1.9. 4.1.9 has been the only update since 2001 for the Cube and is reportedly good for 10.2 on up. I don't think it'd change much for 10.4 and 10.4.8.
Anyway - I followed some posts about resetting permisions, removing non-OEM RAM, and installing the Combo Update instead of build updates. And... they didn't work. I had backed up all of my data onto a FW drive furtunately. After the failed update I had to reinstall 10.4.0. Immediately after the reinstall I tried to 10.4.8 Combo and it was unable to complete it again - Failure at 9% of writing files, same as last time. And it will not alow me to Archive nad Upgrade or even Upgrade. So now I'm Erase and Installing 10.4.0 again and longingly thinking about how much I love going thru the registration process each time.
IT is laughing about it, stoping over to see how the "last Mac Hold-out" is doing on his old Klenex Box Computer. I'm hoping the news doesn't make it to the CFO because I know he'll remind me about the time I said "Yeah, well if it ever crashes I order a PC." I have a feeling he used to be in IT.
I just whish those darn "I'm a PC" "And I'm a Mac" commercials never hit the air - they just make it soo easy for PC users to snipe.

I have had the same "CSXS Infrastructure 4.0.2" update for the past two weeks

Every day for the past two weeks when I have come into work creative cloud tells me I need to download the new updates. The update always is the same thing, "CSXS Infastructure 4.0.2"
Is this happening for everyone and it is a consistent ongoing update or is it downloading it but not actually updating the creative cloud?

Pushing a request from PSA..but says.."Request is already updated in cube"

Pushing a request from PSA..but says.."Request is already updated in cube". I have deleted before scheduling from psa...i could see the request in yellow/not yet completed list.
I am couldnt find the request in the cube...but while pushing from psa it says"request already updated".

Goto Infocube Manage --> Reconstruction Tab --> select request --> Reconstruct and try..

End routine Works fine but missing some records while updating to cube.

I have an issue here... My End routine works fine and I even debugged by putting the breakpoint and It fetches data from dso. strangely when I run my DTP the load is successful but I can see some of the records are missing. but there is data in dso and also when i debug the code it fetches the values for particular fields.
My requirement is I have a cube 'A' and under it DSO1 and I need six more fields from dso2. Now I made a look up for these six fields in End routine. My routine works fine and so the DTP Is Green. My issue is I cant see these six fields updated for some of the records.
PLZ put some light on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well based on the insp_lot in ZQM_O03( DSO1) the logic above gets the six fields from ZQM_O04(DSO2) and feeds the cube.
The Insp_lot has multiple records in DSO1 based on specific characteristic and so the cube. This Logic gets all these six fields
from DSO2 which has single record per insp_lot and feeds the cube which has multiple records on insp_lot based on a specific characteristic. For some reason some of the records are not been updated to cube.

I have reset multiple times and tried recovery again only to get the same error stating that recovery failed. The error states unknown recovery error. My system OS is up to date with OS X 10.7.5. Itunes is up to date with 10.7 (21).

Try:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- The Additional Information paragraph of

- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers

- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem

How do I get my 2G iPod to update to something past 4.2.1, preferably with multi-tasking, is it even possible, can I get a copy from somewhere else?

I extracted data for three data sources i.e. 2lis_03_bx,
2lis_03_bf,2lis_03_um i got data in BW PSA with out any
error but that data is not updating in cube 0lc_c03
i have done settings at r/3 at t.code mcnb,SBIW and I had make NDI flag active at t.code FIBF. do i need to right.
at SBIW I have done like this settings: Inventory controlling
1,Determine Industry sector I have selected Standard (core).
2,Transaction key maintenance for SAP BW I have selected application MM and operat all i.e. 0,1,2,3,4,5,6........all of MM and saved
3,Then stock initialization.
and deleted setup table data for inventory controlling
and after assigning keys I again loaded setuptable.
I am geting data in r/3 rsa3 and in BW PSA with out errors for all three data sources but not geting in cube
but at data source 2lis_03_um update rules there are few key figures with out green light i.e. 'x' but update rules are active please guide me do ineed to write
any update rule level routines please guide me.
please guide me how to get data into cube.

Hi rafeeq,
Are you using business content update rules or custom.
check each rule seperately. do a simulation on the data load, if you feel the update rules are correct.
Check if your validity table is maintained.

Update to OS X 10.6.6 fails

I've bought a Macbook 7,1 with OS X 10.6.4 while trying to update to 10.6.6 it's fails while uncompressing and verifying. I cat /var/log/install.log and the following error apears "*SUSessionErrorDomain error 4*" the question is what does it means and how can I solve it

You may very well have a defective download. Try again, and be very sure you are getting the 10.6.6 Combo Update.
I would not overlook the possibility that the pre-installed system you have is also defective. So before you attempt to update it I suggest the following:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your 10.6.4 Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer. Now restart normally.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.

Update for Windows 7 (32-bit) (KB2952664) FAILED

Error Code: 80242016
During my Windows update I received the above error message while attempting the Update for Windows 7 (KB2952664).
I ran the Fixit program that was offered to me in the Help. I was not really able to identify what the exact cause of the problem is in the help however. It is not installing the update when I rerun Windows Update. Any help with this is appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks toondog, I went to:
Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > View installed updates
in Windows 7 x64, found the failed update in the "Microsoft Windows" category (it's easier to find if you order updates by descending date) then right-click and Uninstall. It appeared to uninstall because the entry disappeared, however when I refreshed
it the entry came back. Then I went to Windows Update and it found the update and I reinstalled and this time it was successful.
It's even easier to find if you enter KB2952664 in the "Search Installed Updates" box in the upper right corner of the Installed Updates window.
This is the only way that worked for me, although I had to do a Restart after uninstalling the update before Windows Update would let me try it again.
Toondog85's way—going through Windows Update instead of Programs and Features—didn't give me the option of uninstalling the update, but it was still basically the right solution to the problem.
