Updating account information for iPhone

Problem started when I wanted to update my app's.  Dialogue box pops up with email address already populated, asking me for my password.  Will not accept my password.  So I tried to reset password.  Got a message to say the new password would be emailed to me.  Nothing ever arrived into email account.  Tried several more times,  Tried several more times, same thing over and over, with no emails ever arriving.  Now have moved and have new email address.  Tried to update my account, it it requires a password to do that.  So I emailed them again, and again the password did not come in the mail.  So a created a new account with new email address.  but when I try to log onto app store with phone a dialogue box with old email address shows up.  I can either put in the password that does work or hit cancel.  There doesn't seem to be a way of signing in to a different acount.  How can I sign into the apps store with the new account number?

Well, no I haven't heard from Apple yet. But I'm slightly embarrassed. When I was told there was no way I could combine accounts, the friendly Apple lady suggested I change the ID on the old account to be similar to my new ID. I did that (and promptly forgot about it). Until just now. Once again, I'm able to update my Apps, but it's still annoying you can't combine accounts.

    Check your trash can on the desktop. The old version is automatically moved to the trashcan. You should be able to move it from the trashcan back to the Apps folder within the iTunes folder. The update that was pushed out was for iBooks to work with iOS 7 not iPhone 5. iOS 7 was released today.

    My office received a phone message from an Adobe representative yesterday that the issue with updating my account had been resolved, and that my creative cloud license should once again be active.  However, all attempts to access my software still return the same repeating sequence of messages:  (1) Renew your subscription: Try Again; (2) Thank You, your subscription is now active.  Click continue; (3) Renew your subsciption; Try Again . . .
    As usual, the software still fails to launch.  Moreover,  my account info indicates that the new payment information has still NOT been captured.  In short, the license remains inactive, and I'm left with confusing misinformation from the service representative who contacted us yesterday.
    As a longtime, loyal and enthusiastic user of Adobe products, I find it extraordinarily disappointing that this has been going on for over a month without satisfactory resolution. Now that my Creative Cloud license has been rendered inactive for the majority of a week, I am at a full work stoppage.  We now have more than six major projects in default.  While my immediate concerns focus on my organization's reputation, my department's productivity, and my own credibility as a communications professional, the issue is of course much larger for Adobe as well as myself. I cannot begin to express how poorly this reflects on Adobe.  Without a rapid and satisfactory resolution to this issue, it is increasingly likely that my organization will be obliged to move to alternative products for our communications needs. I do not relish the thought of moving away from a suite of products that has served us well for many years.  Needless to say, such an outcome will almost certainly inform any recommendations we make to our professional associates with similar communications needs.
    Let me be clear, I am tolerant of the fact that the recent cyber-attack on Adobe has created technical problems.  However, it also seems to me that the lack of meaningful customer service and technical assistance is only making a bad situation even worse.

    Specifically:
    Turn off iCloud completely
    Depending on whether you want to stop using iCloud on all or only some devices, do one or more of the following:
    On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then at the bottom of the screen, tap Delete Account
    Once you've performed this step go back to Settings and add the correct iCloud account.

    If you don't have a balance the option for none should show up. If it does not or it gives you the message that there was billing issue with a previous purchase you will have to satisify the balance with either a credit or debit card attached to a bank account. Certain prepaid cards will not work if not attached to bank account with routing number.

    This is asked and answered fairly frequently.
    A simple search would have revealed the answer.
    Temporarily disable the Anti-Virus and Firewall software on the computer then rerun the update.

    There is no supported way of downgrading to previous iOS versions. However you may Gogole alternative ways of doing it but know that you are on your own and if something goes wrong in the downgrade process your warranty may be voided and Apple will not offer any support for it.
    We cannot discuss how to downgrade here due to the Terms of service of these forums, but google should offer lots of hits for it currently.

    Hi there!
    Yes, you only buy the app once and any consecutive update is free. I ran into the same situation as you with another application and I was able to prove to Apple that I was charged twice for the application. They refunded me.
