Updating an iPhone 4 with iTunes 9!?
I have just recently upgraded from an iphone 3 to 4, I want to sync it with my computer and transfer all my music/photos/apps/contacts etc. I have an old Mac which runs on OS X 10.4.11 and can only get iTunes 9. To get my phone recognized I need iTunes 10 but need OS X 10.5 to run this! Is there anyway to get my phone working?
Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard will indeed cost money; $129.00 US from the Apple Store which may still have copies if you call them. Other sources I've seen are charging more, though you can shop around and see if you can find a better price. You'll need the retail edition, not the system disks from some other Mac.
Is it possible to register my iPhone 3 on another computer, transfer the data and then plug my iPhone 4 in?
Sorry, but I don't what you mean by this. Can you explain your proposed process more fully? If you mean that you wish to sync your iPhone 3 to another computer, you can, but all data will be erased from it when you sync. I don't know if there's any way to make a backup of the data from the iPhone first. Clarify what you are thinking of doing and perhaps someone else will have an idea.

You have POP mail account. That's how those types of email accounts work.
You want an IMAP type of account, where if you delete on phone, it will also delete on server. Should you ever restore your device again it will only update the mail that hasn't been deleted.
You didn't say which email service you use, but try contacting them to see if they offer IMAP. Or you can switch. -

I haven't updated my iPhone 3G for a long time because i had an iPhone 4, which i actually lost, so i wanted to update my 3G device with the latest software but my question is which firmware i will "get" because actually the latest update isn't compatible with 3G devices or am i wrong?
The latest firmware [4.3.3] will not install, so the "Restore" function will write 4.2.1 and nothing later. The restore is related to the iPhone that is currently attached to iTunes not the missing iPhone4; your backup files for iPhone4 will not be used. It will be as if you are setting up the iPhone 3G from the beginning.

I updated my iphone 4 with iO6.1. I no longer have any music on my phone even with itunes match. I've turned my phone off and on. I've turned my imac off and on. I've turned off imatch on my computer and turned it back on. I've turned imatch off on my phone and turned it back on. I spent HOURS on this yesterday. Coincidentally, two of my playlists were deleted from itunes. So I spent quite a bit of time recreating them only to find them missing again today. The ONLY way for me to get music on my phone is to click on the ...more tab and go to shared and pull music from my actual desktop. Restoring my iphone is not an option. I am completely frustrated so if anyone can help, that would be great

Take the following steps:
1) while connected to wifi, toggle off then back on the Show All Music and iTunes Match options shown in my original post. Important: I did this step before, but wasn't connected to wifi, and my music disappeared. Subsequently, I connected to wifi and turned off and then back on those options and everything came back though it was grayed out and my only option was to download music.
2) To get streaming over cellular back, go into Settings>General>Cellular and scroll down to the "Use Cellular Data for:" options and make sure the iTunes option is set to 'On'
The above steps will bring back the streaming capability which seemed to go away when you update to 6.1. It didn't ACTUALLY go away, but something about the update toggled off the iTunes option in step 2 above.
I did a final test by turning off wifi, opening Music app and selecting a song. It played successfully without downloading! Crossing my fingers, but I think I'm good to go!

I have updated my iphone 5 with IOS7. Now there is an update 7.0.2 on my cell and the size of update file is showing around 21.0 MB. I tried to update it ITunes but it seems it is downloading the entire IOS. Is there any separate update for the same or I have to download the entire IOS again?
Well when you download the update with iTunes it will always download the whole new version (in your case 7.0.2) even if its just an bug fix. If you already have 7.0 download the update over-the-air.
You already wrote that the update is only 21 MB, so its not the whole firmware package of 7.0.2 you get with iTunes. -

Choose About this Mac from the Apple menu and check the processor.
If it's a PowerPC Mac, it's already running the newest OS it can.
If it's an Intel Mac, click here, install the DVD, and run Software Update twice.
If you upgrade the OS, back up the computer first.

The picture is suggesting you plug your iPhone into iTunes on your computer using the USB cord.

Hmm, well... iTunes trys to activate your iPod using the Apple server to make sure you have bought it legit.
Two things come into my mind:
1) Your iTunes can't access the internet.
2) Apples activation servers are down.
That's just my cents, maybe anyone else has an idea.
