Updating and installing CS5ext

Question

I have an HP TouchSmart 520 PC, and have recently have had to have it factory reset. Therefore, all of my programs including photoshop cs5 extended were deleted. I then began to reinstall photoshop, I was able to do so but in order to use camera raw, I needed to update the version. I have a Canon Rebel t3i, which cs5 does not support. I selected Help, then Updates on photoshop. Several updates popped up, I began to update all of them (Bride, MiniBridge, Camera Raw, Photoshop cs5 64 bit, Photoshop 32 bit, etc.) As the updates were occurring I see them downloading then I see installing, half way through the install I receive a message that the following programs encountered an error and were not able to download properly. "Fix the following errors then try again", "Quit and try again." Since I was not able to update my program through photoshop, I decided to go to the adobe website and retry to update each one by one. I tried downloading the latest updates but each time I received the same error message. Please Help, I've run out of options.

your screenshots do not show you're following directions.
so, let's start over.  delete all the downloads/updates that may be causing confusion.
follow the below steps meticulously.  don't skip any steps.  if you don't understand how to execute one or more of the steps, ask.
click this link to your update, Adobe - Photoshop : For Windows : Camera Raw 6.7 Update : Thank You
download that zip file into a new directory.
unzip the zip file using an unzip utility
Exit Photoshop CS5 AND Adobe Bridge.
double-click AdobePatchInstaller among the unzipped files and follow the onscreen instructions.
Launch Photoshop CS5 or Adobe Bridge.
if you see an error message, attach a screenshot of the error message.
