Updating Apps not working???

Just a quick question...I had a bunch of apps to update, 13+, and when I just went to update them, now it is showing that all my apps are up to date, but they are not....Is anyone else having problems with updating their apps in iTunes tonight?

After updating my iPad (4.2.1) - arrgghhh- not good - looked around for help for the lockscreen problem (problem solved!) I tried same solution for apps not updating and it worked (I hadn't bothered for a while and there were 69!). On home screen double click home button, find App Store icon on taskbar at the bottom of screen, press and you go into iTunes updates (as pre-update) where your list of available updates is contained. Tho' now it's gone glitchy on me when I pressed 'update all' (possibly 'cos my husband and I share each other's apps, and it's gone to his account). See how you go...

After Update apps not working on iPad 2 64 GB

I had just updated my iPad to Version 5.1.1. During the update iTunes had automatically made a backup of my apps and restored them when the update was complete... When I tried to launch the apps not even 1 was working... I restarted my iPad several times but no luck... Please help me....

Try this next.
Go to Settings>Store >Apple ID, tap your ID and sign out. Then reboot the iPad, Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Then go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and sign in again and see if the apps will work.
If that doesn't work, try syncing with iTunes on your computer.
Make sure that you are signed into the correct Apple ID on the iPad as well.

TS1702 Apple update App not working.

You know the area in the App Store where you update your apps, it's not working. It's shows the # of apps to be updated, but it does have the apps in the update window, it's just blank. So I'm not able to update my apps. I've turned my phone off and on several times.

Lots of ppl here having that problem - every time I've had the problem I just wait a while it always seems to be on Apple's side.
You can always download the updates in iTunes then do a sync.

Auto-update apps not working !

Have you checked the google play app? Try to clear data and force stop it under settings-apps-all. Set it up again.

After 6.1.2 update apps not working

After updating my iPhone with 6.1.2, all the apps that I had downloaded from app store have stopped working. Further app store is also not responding. Please help. All other pre installed apps that comes with Iphone are working fine.

N97 SW updater app not working

The SW ypdater application that came default in my N97 has stopped working. Whenever i try launching in, it comes out again n again. Pls help. I want to dwnld the memory reorganizer nokia launched on 19/12.......i cant find it for my handset via PC NSU utility or the ovi suite either. I think its available only on fone SW app. Thanks in advance. Pradeep

Unfortunately, to get the best from an update, it's often best to do a reset, as there can be conflict between settings from the old to the new software, involves some time and effort but gets the phone working better ! Backup your Contacts. Calender and Notes ONLY then dial *#7370# followed by 12345 and the phone will reset to factory new. Then re-install the software and manually set up your phone again and install the apps you want !

Master License File update - apps not working properly

Believe it or not, I am replacing an expired license with the master license file on a 9.2 installation. Go figure...
Anyway, I have searched for docs on what needs to be reconfigured and how after replacing the old file and have come up empty. Have run config tool to update Deployment id for both Essbase and Planning but still getting error message in Planning indicating an issue with the license and when opening HBR rules, that it cannot connect to Essbase due to licensing issue. Tried re-registering with Shared Services for both Planning and Essbase, still getting the same errors and log files are not providing much by way of clues.
Other info: License server logs shows no errors. All apps starting successfully.
Does anyone have a doc or experience with this that they can share with me? Do I need to deregister apps? Redeploy the app servers?

There are no virus for an iphone unless it is jailbroken.
For the message - close out of the app, then double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.
Then do a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
this reset, might help with your other issues too.

Facebook app and Updating Apps - Not working

My Facebook app has been acting wonky all day. And then I tried to upgrade 4 apps, and the apps just go grey and say "Waiting". The App store does not ask for my password. I've restarted my phone, down a force quit, I don't know what else to do.

I face the same problem, the apps go grey and say 'waiting' and app store didnt pop up for my password. Now I cant open those apps at all coz they are all under 'waiting' condition. very frustrated, pls help!

Software update app not working after belle update...

After updating my N8 to nokia belle, I can no longer use the software update application. It will not connect to the net and just keeps on saying "connection failed (connection unavailable)" eventhough everything else (nokia browser, store, email, opera, maps etc) is connected. After failing to connect it gives the message : unable to check for updates, please try later.
Is there any suggestion I can apply to fix this situation?

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
If you wish, you may be able to salvage the malfunctioning extension by uninstalling and reinstalling it. That will revert its settings to the defaults.
If extensions aren't causing the problem, see below.

Had the same problem as you. App would terminate when launched.
Solution to working You Tube app:
-Go to playstore
- Uninstall app (it doesn't remove the app, only removes the update)
- "Et Voila", working again.
This doesn't correct the problem, it's just a workaround for you to be able to use youtube app again.

Default Mail app not working with yahoo mail. Won't update.

Default Maill app not working with Yahoo Mail.
It stopped working the other day. I tried everything but it wouldn't update new mail. The yahoo account itself is fine because I can see new mail on Yahoo or a yahoo app.
I tried deleting the account and putting it back on, but now it has 0 mail in any part of it. Nothing has synced.
What do I do?

A lot of people have been unable to access Yahoo e-mail on their iPhones or iPads. My wife’s iPad was not downloading Yahoo mail, although her iPhone was. Both used IOS 8.2. We tried deleting the account several times and troubleshooting all of the other settings. The problem appears to have been that allowing the IOS to automatically create the account on the iPad resulted in the wrong settings for the incoming server. The following procedure, pieced together from two websites, fixed the problem for us. So far, so good.

Hello, Premkoli. Which specific apps are you referring to? Are these apps downloaded from the Store, or preloaded ones? When you say 'my apps not working with tata docomo only', does it mean that these apps work with other SIM cards aside from TaTa Docomo? How did you update your Nokia C2-00? Is it by going to Settings > Phone > Device Updates > Check for updates, or via Nokia Suite?
Since the issue started after the software update, you can try to reinstall the phone's SW via Nokia Suite. Just download it on your PC, and then connect the phone via a compatible USB cable. After that, launch Nokia Suite, and the go to SW Updates > Device Software Updates > Reinstall current SW. After that, try opening the same apps and see if they'll work with your Docomo SIM card. I wanted to add something here that may or may not be accurate, since I was suffering the exact same issues (on an iPhone 6+, and replicated on an iPhone 5 patched to 8.0) you were describing Nick. In an effort to trouble shoot this I picked up one of the third party tools that allows you onto the iOS device file system. I've been trying since Friday night to reproduce the conditions that cause the issue but haven't quite narrowed it down. Including this here in case the Engineers are poking around in the discussion boards and are trying to reproduce this.
This is an iPhone 6+ running 8.0 (12A366) connecting physically to iTunes 11.4 on a MBP running 10.9.5 (13F34; fully patched).
Here's what I did last night and this seems to have worked (meaning, I can sync music now without issue at least for syncs this morning; will confirm tonight by syncing again):
Turned off iTunes Match on the iTunes library I am syncing from
Unchecked all non-AAC music files (Apple lossless and MPEG audio both; these were just flat out refusing to copy over, claiming to have copied but coming up with the exclamation point when accessed on the device via iTunes; none of these lossless or mp3 files have been an issue in any previous version of iOS, meaning they are all of the correct sample and bitrate to be used and can sync to other devices in the household running iOS 7)
Removed all music from the iOS device (by deselecting music syncing)
Hard rebooted the iOS device after disconnecting it; rebooted the iTunes library host
Reconnected the iOS device and fired up the third party app (this is the part I do not recommend, but I was eager to try to figure out what the root cause was)
Removed the iTunes library files on iOS (this is something I had done between other factory resets earlier to force the iOS device to rebuild the library; to rule out library corruption)
Removed any "music" folders remaining on the iOS device (this is also something I had done a few times which had had no effect)
Removed any saved artwork (this was something I had not done before, but I too had noticed a strange correlation between it stopping working and the artwork being synced)
Disconnected and rebooted the iOS device again (forcing a recreation of the iTunes library database files)
Reconnected the device and started syncing small playlists (50-100 songs). In increments it all seems to be syncing up now without issue
The two new steps this time around that seem, at least at initial glance, to have solved the problem are stopping syncing any non-AAC music media files and the deletion of the existing artwork folders on the iOS device. Syncing appears to be working, even after disconnecting and reconnecting the device.
