Updating Country maps for Nokia Belle

In the past Nokia Suite announced me, when there were newer mapversions of a country available to download.
It is very long time ago (a year?) that I have received any country update. I'm wondering if this service is still available for Nokia with the OS Belle?
I have a Nokia N8.
PS For a long time Nokia Suite couldn't connect with the Nokia server. With some help on internet I am now able to re-connect with the nokia server....But may be not for updating country maps??

hey nokia family..
i am a user of nokia n8 and that is my favourite cell phone but now there is no update available for nokia belle devices and these devices do not support adobe flash player any more, even 808 pure view is one of the new devices by nokia but it is also unable to stream videos over net, so this is a request to nokia family that please do not forget his old customers and belle users and please give an update for these devices..

Adobe are the ones who are in control of Flash for mobiles and they took the decision quite a long time ago to stop all support and development for Flash for all mobile devices.
You will not therefore be receiving any further support from anyone regarding Flash for your mobile devices.

OFFLINE MAPS FOR NOKIA C3-00

Where can i Download maps for nokia c3-00 the one that can be lunched even without internet connection?

There are no offline maps for c3-00,you can use google maps but they need an internet connection.

Update the software for nokia asha 305

Hey plz update a new sw for nokia asha 305 as the phone has got lots of drawbecks like,
hangs up quite often and doesnt restart after it gets hangs,youtube not supported,poor battery backup,always shows application error whenever i try to run any app on my phone
i hope these problems will be solved by nokia in their next update

Yes there is, my friend. One of our friends here in the forum posted it already. Here, New software update available for Asha 305: v. 5.92.
Please take note that update availability depends on existing Nokia device firmware version, country, and operator. Normally, the roll -out will be throttled so you just really have to wait.

Microsoft Apps update not available for Nokia 701

From nokia conversations website, I could see that MIcrosoft Apps is available for Nokia 701 (http://conversations.nokia.com/2012/04/10/get-microsoft-office-for-symbian/) post Belle FP1 update. But I am not able to get that update. I am from India. My product code is 059J7M4 (This is a new code that I got after taking my mobile to Nokia care for software update).

If the Nokia care point staff has changed your product code in repair, they should have changed it back to the original before handing it back to you. In this case please visit the Care point and ask them to change the product code back to the original. If they have replaced enough parts, or the whole device, so that the product code has been changed as well, then it's just not available for your device yet.

Purchasing cube designing, update rule mapping for 0calday

Hi All,
Iam designing cube for Purchasing module in BW. Iam having doubt in mapping for 0calday in update rules, is it with document date or scheduline date. I have searched in SAP cube 0PUR_C01, it is mapped with 0SCHED_DATE( schedule line date). How the difference comes when we choose document date and schedule line date.
FYI, we are using only schedule line data source, which is giving relevant information.

0SCHED_DATE: The schedule line date is the day on which the scheduled quantity of the material is to be delivered.
0DOC_DATE: The date on which document has been craeted.
Use the first one for purchasing.

Is Singtel your carrier that supplies you with your monthly cell service? Your device as well as BlackBerry Link will only show updates available from your carrier. If your phone is registered with another carrier and they haven't released an update, you won't be notified of it. I think even if you got your phone from another carrier and it hasn't been unlocked, you won't receive notifications until that other carrier releases the OS.

Updating maps for nokia drive

How do I check to see if there are updates to the maps I have downloaded on my Lumia 800? I'm sure I read somewhere that Nokia will update maps 4 times a year.
I have had uk maps downloaded for 18 months and have not seen any notification of maps updates. I can't find any option within Drive to check for updates either.
Can someone let me know how I get the updated maps please.

Whilst Windows Phone 8 devices have this facility, I can't remember whether ever a feature of 7.8 unfortunately; you could always delete current mapping and start again.

Map for Nokia N8

I just got me an N8, but I have problems with the map in Ovi
It shows no country, in stead it says
"map and voice files have not been found on the unit" and below that it says
"It might be because of"
" the unit don't support the program Nokia Maps"
"Map and voice files in the unit has been damaged"

It rather depends whether anyone has been messing around with your N8, you can check in OVI Maps application > Spanner icon > Maps > whether mass memory or memory card are selected as data can be stored in either place. If you choose a WLAN access point for Internet connection in OVI Maps application on N8 you can at least download mapping data for where you are to check it out.
It may however be a better idea to install OVI Maps v3.06 pre-release from Nokia Beta Labs here:
http://betalabs.nokia.com/apps/ovi-maps-306 sign in with your Nokia account ID and password to download application as this would allow you to update maps using phones WLAN without need to use OVI Suite on PC.

Thank you very much for your support, i would like if somebody can help me in my Device ( nokia 500 auto navigation ) i installed the Maps in my SD Card but once i put the SD card in my Device and checking the Mas its showing me the Maps is Locked ,

I fully agree with your assessment. And I don't like to be treated like a monkey.
Nokia is showing such a low respect and care to their customers, especially in the Middle East. They became maybe too big to care for their customers. Apparently they have forgotten that what made them so big is precisely those customers they are ignoring today. It is a pity.
I am looking for a solution for the same problem since 9 month ow: updating middle east maps on my Nokia 500 Auto Navigation. thout any positive result.
What is making this case looking even worst is the promises I got from my Nokia reseller that maps WILL be updated on a regula basis!!! But till today, total blackout from our friends at Nokia.
And the funny thing : while typing this note, a popup appeared on my screen about Customer Feedback on the qualiity of Nokia support. They are really incredible those guys.

Updating of firmware for nokia c3-00 with v 08.63

As per the news released from nokia,the latest software update for c3-00 is 08.63,but this update is not shown while using nokia ovi suite for updating ,so may i know what would be problem.then after updating with v7.20 most of the softwares and games are not working,showing appliction error(java class) .so pls relpy if u hav some solution for above two problems.....

Availability of update depends on Product Code / Region. Also, if the phone is Network locked, then the update is possible only after an approval from the Operator. ..So, it seems there is NO update available for your phone yet. Wait and Keep on checking..

Update country codes for foreign trade statistics

Hi all !
I am updating our SAP Systems with all new Country Codes (ISO-Alpha-2) for foreign trade statistics (and preference calculation).
For example Monaco was a unique code "MC" with key "001" (same key of France). Now I have to change this code "MC" to "FR", but I can create only one key "FR" into SAP. So I've just modified the "ISO-Code" field with "FR".
What do you think about this ? Is this modification OK ? Thanks for your support !
