Hi, I have installed successfully all the adobe CC 2014 applications. But now the Creative Cloud is telling me I have updates and when I try to install those it gives me an error: "Updating driver data failed. Driver entry was notadded. ARP estimated size 199414KB". Could somebody explain to me what's going on and how to fix this? Thanks!

That sounds like a database entry failure. Short of nuking the relevant *.db files, running the cleaner tool and starting over this usually is not possible to fix and there is no way to find out what caused it in the first place...

Are you trying to download the software onto OneDrive? That's what your file extension shows. That seems like a problem right there. Try installing lightroom to the pro 3's hardrive. I'm not a computer wiz, so I could be wrong.

Every time I try to install any form of apps this error pops up.
I’ve un-installed my entire suite due to the fact the desktop application wouldn’t let me update anything, as it claimed nothing was installed. Even when everything was installed.
So, at this point. I’m just sitting here, paying for something I can’t use, with a client waiting for the final product.
I’d appreciate any help I could get.

P.S. Yes, I restarted my system multiple times, used the Creative Cloud cleaner application to clean things up, and every one of the basic troubleshoot methods.

Driver data location

Apologies for putting this in Planning and Budgeting, but I could not see specific forum for HPCM.
I want an example for driver data location and particularly the difference between 'Destnation' and 'Assignment'

The difference is as you indicate the location of the driver data.
For the 'destination' driver type the data is stored at 'no member' for all stage dimensions except for the destination stage.
For the 'assignment' driver type the data is stored against members for both the source and destination stages.
For Example
consider a model with only 2 stages, each stage has 1 dimension.
stage 1 : dimension = dim A, member = A100
stage 2 : dimension = dim B, member = B100
for a rule against stage 1, dimension A, member A100 with a target in stage 2, dimension B, member B100
'destination driver data' - The driver data needs to be stored in [stage 1]@[nomember], [stage 2]@[B100]
'assignment driver data' - The driver data needs to be stored in [stage 1]@[A100], [stage 2]@[B100]
The difference is that for a destination driver the same value is used regardless of the source, so the different member in the source dimension can use the same driver value based on the same destination.
With the assignment driver every combination must be covered, but you can have different driver values for each on combination of source and destination.

I recently had to have my computer hard drive "cleaned." While this was going on, I broke my SG3, and now own an SG4.
I also changed servers for the internet. When I tried to plug in my SG4, after not being on iTunes for some time, all my data was erased.
No every time I try and do ANYTHING, it asks for my PW.....which is ALWAYS WRONG.....though I've reset it over and over and over.
I want my data back (contacts, pics, etc.). But I can't even maneuver around iTunes any more.
How in the **** do I get someone from iTunes to give me assisstance for the myriad of problems for which I am encountering. This is a CLUSTERF.....

There is no such thing as an "SG3" or "SG4". Did you possibly mean a 3GS and iPhone4?
It has always been very basic to ensure that a backup exists of your media and other important files. Computers fail, hard drives crashes... things happen. Do you not have a backup? The iPhone, like all iDevices is NOT a backup of your media, but rather a mirror of the content in the iTunes library on your computer.
If your contacts, pics, etc are not on your computer, no backups of the iPhone exist, and they are not on the phone, they are gone.
No one can magically make them re-appear.

The attribute Reallocated_Event_Count is the one which worries me. As You can see the value is non-zero and is still increasing. Does it mean that my hard drive is gaining more and more reallocated sectors due to some surdace problem? I wonder if smartctl is parsing the data in the right way. Is it possible that hard drives shipped by Lenovo as a part of ThinkPad use non-standard firmware and write some value unrelated to reallocation events.
GSmartMon utiliy (a Linux graphical front-end for smartmon/smartctl) parses this value as alarming, S.M.A.R.T. applications for Windows give ambiguous advices - some say my hard drive is failing, some say it doesn't.
The basic question is - is my hard drive starting to fail or weird value of mentioned attribute is some non-standard feature added by laptop manufacturer?

Backup was the first thing that I did So... Your opinion seems to support my concerns about this drive. In addition - trial version of HD Tune Pro parses mentioned S.M.A.R.T. data as "warning".

How to backup data when hard drive is failing.

I think my hard drive is failing..
I booted using Install DVD, and got message in Disc Utility that "this drive has a hardware problem that can't be repaired." It mentioned I should backup data and consult apple representative..
I clicked on Macintosh HD under the red physical drive (500.11 GB Hitachi HTS) and did disc repair.
Strangely, the message went away on the physical drive when I finished. It turned back to black wording and gave green "verified/repaired" messages in the log.
I am still able to boot my macbook, although everything is running slowly... Desktop excel files take 15 mins to open.
Does this still sound like a failing hard drive?
I am trying to act fast and borrowed my sister's external harddrive/ "passport for mac", and it slowly prompted a time machine backup. It is slowly working through "8.34GB of 200.33GB"
I do not really understand what I am doing, but hoping this is the right move. Could someone explain what time machine will do or how it will help?
Is there any chance I will harm her external hd?
I am mostly worried about iPhoto and itunes library, iMovie projects,and important excel spreadsheets on my desktop. Is time machine looking after these concerns?

Now you will need to use very expensive data recovery experts to recover data when you could have had it safely on a $100 worth of 2 external HD.
Mechanical HD failure circumvents using recovery software.......so, now you backed yourself into a corner and needed expensive data expert recovery.
You took a wrong turn a long while back before reaching this cliff edge.
that wrong term was not having (preferably 2) external HD as a redundant data archive.

How to recover data from failed drive that's part of mirrored raid

hope to get help from someone knowledgeable out there. I have a macpro and recently experienced a failed drive. I set up that failed drive as part of a mirrored raid, this set is not my primary drive and so my computer is stilling up and running but now am wondering how I access the data from the mirrored drive. Should the mirrored drive automatically mount on my desktop whereby I would be able to access the files? This is my first drive failure and I was under the impression having a mirror would duplicate my data and allow me to access it in situations like this. I'm a bit of novice in this area and not sure if the data is truly on the "mirror" or if there are things I need to do.
I launched disk utility and was able to see the mirrored drive and I selected "mount" drive but it would not mount; I then selected "verify" and got "unrecognizeable filesystem" Is this normal? Am I suppose do something to get access to the mirrored drive? Do I install a new drive in place of the failed drive and expect the raid to rebuild automatically whereby I then see the data?

Even with a mirror, you still need a backup.
Along with Disk Utility, you still need 3rd party (TechTool Pro 5, Disk Warrior 4.1.1+).
And if you like to use RAID and esp mirror RAID, consider

I was tried to update Bios to 1.12 but not successed..

I tried to update under safe mode, still not work..
I tried to use Winflash, it came out "Cannot open new BIOS file"..
There's only one method that I didn't try is that burn a ISO CD and connect to External CDROM.. but I don't have External CDROM..
The reason that I update Bios is that I want to install Toolbox; otherwise, I won't take this risk..

Sounds like something wonky with your Windows install. I'd avoid doing a BIOS update through such an install.

My question is if it is possible to remotely deauthorise these devices or is it necessary to deauthorise all devices on the account and then reauthorise those devices which are still current.

iPads don't count in the number of authorisations, only computers count. Individual computers can only be deauthorised directly on them, but if you have 2 or more computers authorised then you can 'deauthorise all' (which you can only do once every 12 months) and you can then reauthorise the computers that you still have and need (deauthorising a computer doesn't remove any content from it).

My hard drive failed. I was able to restore my files from an external hard drive. I have my bookmarks saved but am not able to import them into Firefox as the only option is to import them from another browser. Any suggestions?

In Firefox the bookmarks are saved in a database file called places.sqlite in the profile folder. If you have got this file from the external hard drive you can restore the bookmarks by copying this file to your current profile folder. There are some recovery programs out there if you google them - many with free trials. I haven't tried them so I have no opinion.Read any professional tech and user reviews you can find before you try one. I have read here in the past that some have worked for people who have posted here.
To help in the future, have you considered using Jump Desktop - Remote Desktop? I know it won't solve the problem you're dealing with now (unless notes were taken on your computer.) It's in the app store. It's the #1 paid app in the business category and the reviews are great. It allows you to see anything that's on your computer on your ipad. If you take your notes on your ipad then you might want to email them to yourself, put them on Word in your computer, for example, and then if you need them in class, you remotely connect your ipad to your computer and you will see your notes. This way you won't have to rely so much on the cloud. The explanation would be too long here, but you might want to take a look at it. You can use the free trial on jumpdesk.com and then if it works for you, buy it in the app store.
