Updating external iTunes after Yosemite update

iTunes did not update the external HD where iTunes and all music is stored and accessed. The update placed the new iTunes on the interior hard drive and music is not available. What to do?

You keep your iTunes application on a different drive from your iTunes library files (everything except the application)? Not having the application on the same drive as the system and main Applications folder is highly unusual and I am not sure it is even possible on newer systems (which I do not have).

External Disply flickers and went Black for a short duration after yosemite update 10.10.2

hi,
i got a mac book pro late 2008 and since todays update my external monitor flickers and went black for a short duration.
It seems that it happens, when i start a new app or i move a window across the displays.
Disabling the automated scaling of the resolution reduced the flickering but it still happens.
Does anyone faces the same problems and have an idea how to fix it?
I would appreciate it.

It sounds like you've noticed flickering on your external display after updating OS X Yosemite.
I'd recommend starting with these resets to troubleshoot the situation:
You can reset the Mac's parameter RAM and SMC.
You can find these steps in this article:

If the behavior continues, try going through the steps in the "Update your software and firmware" and "No video or no signal, image distortion, 'snow,' or flickering" sections of this article, as well.

Itunes not working after Yosemite update

Hi folks, as for title.
I updated this morning to Yosemite OS X and everything was nice and dandy until I tried starting iTunes clicking on the icon in the dock..
Big surprise, nothing happens. Tried the usual stuff, permission repair, look into logs, re-install a fresh download all to no aval.
Clicking on the app doesn't get even a blip however, browsing into the .app bundle and clicking directly on the binary works.
Could anybody shed some light here?

I have the same problem with my mid 2012 mbp, but I can get the external monitor to show if I dont using the mirroring feature. Not exactly what I want to use but it may help if no one can find a solution.

Fisrtly, I would like to explain about my problem. I updated the iTunes after that, when I connect with USB. It is saying, there is no SIM card installed the iPhone you are attempting to active.
And next message says, please disconnect and insert a SIM card in the iPhone, but I tried by different SIM cards.
The slit is ok as well; I think something wrong with this iTunes I updated, because this is not my first time.

Authorized reseller or not, it's a gray market phone that must have been bought in the US and shipped to Saudi Arabia. Are you sure it was an authorized iPhone reseller, or was it a general Apple reseller who is not authorized to sell iPhones? Whatever it was, they are violating their agreement with Apple, and, as the phone has FaceTime on it, they are violating KSA law.
However, the good news is that it will work if you remove the Verizon SIM and insert a local SIM - unless they phone is actually a used phone that is locked to some other former owner. But that will be obvious as soon as you try to activate it. You can check its history at: Apple - Support - Check Your Service and Support Coverage

No. That would only be required if there is an interruption during the update, which would then mean it needs to be restored.

And you dont need iTunes to update you're device. You can update it OTA in Settings > General > Software Update

You generally get that error code on a jailbroken phone ?
If it is Jailbroken then I am afraid you will get no help here.
