Updating iTunes to download iOS7 from iTunes
Hi, I was trying to update my iTunes to download iOS7 from iTunes because my phone thinks it's software is up to date. I plug in my phone and press the update button for my phone and iTunes tells me it requires iTunes version 11.0.5 to update to iOS7. So I download 11.0.5 and I try again. This time I get the same message except it now says it requires iTunes 11.1. I'm betting abysmal download speeds, presumably from apple servers being overburdened. It took over an hour to download iTunes 11.0.5 and it was only 42.9 MB. Now I'm trying to update to iTunes 11.1 and the update is 141 MB. So I guess my question is, why is this happening and how many times am I going to have to go through it.
This has been happening to a few people right after upgrading. Just wait and give it some time and you will get the updates. The other thing you may see for a while is that there are updates available, which in fact, have already updated previously. THose go away magically on their own.
If you're feeling impatient, you could try to sign out of the App store from your Apple ID then sign back in. Not sure that's really helping anyone, but it may.

It's ok to do this even though you are already running v10.6.8
Then restart your Mac, launch the App Store.
Try updating / downloading apps. -
Installed the CC updates yesterday. Downloaded pics from my Canon 70D in Camera Raw. Since the updates Bridge no longer recognizes them; advises me to get the latest update, which I have. Both Photoshop CC's recognize the pics, just not Bridge (thanks for having Photoshop now show thumbnails of CR pics). Any Ideas on how to fix?

Even with that link though, I was still left puzzled as it didn't give multiple versions, just a 32 bit and 64 bit version.
I tried the 64 bit and it didn't work, so I assumed that was what had already been installed in the update.
Now installed the 32 bit version, and fingers crossed. At least it starts up now!

Since I installed the latest PSE12 update, when I download images from my camera into Organizer on my iMac, the application freezes. If I "force quit" then it seems to download them, but will do nothing else, including verifying and deleting the images from my camera. It worked fine prior to the update.

i used an apple account of a friend to download apps to my iphone, the account then closed, now when i tried to update apps i download it from my account or i buy it using my account, its says that i have to put the password of my friend account, and if i want to update any app i downloaded or buy from my i have to delete it and download it again.
what can i do??As far as I know you should be prompted for the password for an account that 'owns' one of the apps that requires updating.
If all of the apps with updates are linked to your account and that is the account that is now logged in, then you could try a reset and see if that helps : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot. -
I still cannot update my 4S to iOS7 from 6.1.6. The phone says the software is up to date. Any solutions out there?

If you have an iPad 1 then you cannot upgrade to iOS7, you can only go to iOS 5.1.1
to update, connect your iPad to the computer you normally sync with. Update iTUnes. Do a full back up of your device onto that computer. Then download and install the update. Once the update is done the computer will restore your iPad from the backup that you just made and you should lose nothing. -
tryed to update my 4s with ios7 downloaded the sofeware but when it tryed to download it to my phone its telling me to coneted my cord and it is coneted?

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Apps wont update and cant download anything from Itunes
I've been using my Iphone4 for 10 months now and haven't had any problems. I updated to iOs5 and iOs5.01. I never resorted to jailbreaking it nor would never resort in the future.. I believe in purchasing apps and paying the developers for really good apps. Recently though I've been having trouble updating them. My app store app has a red 10 and i cant update any of the apps that are listed due for updating.. Whenever i try to click on an individual app that has a small progress bar at the bottom the phone will say "unable to download application... *app name* could not be downloaded at this time". I've been trying for a couple of weeks now and was able to update 3 apps.. the others just wont.. I also tried downloading any random app and it didnt work as well. Sometimes i get the message "cannot connect to istore or itunes store" or something like that.. Please help!!!

Facing error updating iPhoto and downloading xCode from Apple store

im trying to update my iPhoto, it was downloading perfectly well for more than an hour, then when i came back to check on its' progress it has stopped downloading and the message "An error has occured" was next to it, tried to update it several times but no use, any idea why it happened? and how can i solve it?
on the other hand i'm trying to download xCode application from Apple store, it has been more than couple of hours and it's still "Waiting..." to download, it keeps freezing on "waiting", this is my third time deleting it and redownloading it again. any solutions?

I have issue in updating software for my Macbook Pro and it kept showing the same software to be updated. I have restart the computer after install the software and still showing the same issue. In addition, i could not update the new itune version and every website i goes to it will show a msg indicating that the website is might not be the real website and would ask me to choose; show certificate, cancel or continue. This applies to the apple website as well.

This was happening to me yesterday, but later in the day the update became available. You can either be patient and see if it shows up in Software Update or manually download it from here.
