I downloaded an updated version of camera raw. How do I mate it to my version of Lightroom 3?

you need cr 7.3 or better and lightroom 3 cannot be updated to use that. you need lr 4.3 or better.
or you can use the dng converter, Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter : For Windows : Adobe DNG Converter 8.7

You shouldn't need any application except what you already have: iMovie, iDVD, iPhoto....

Some formats are not readable by the above; you can use something like MPEG Streamclip to convert the footage or Quicktime Pro (as mentioned in one of the articles).

There is a big white X on top of the firefox symbol after download, what is it for?

Do I have to have CC to update Lightroom when I purchased the program outright?

I have been operating Lightroom 5.0 for over a year, I keep seeing updates with mods for specific camera models. Now one pops for HDR and pano merging, something I have wanted for sometime and if it works within the Lightroom work flow it would be incredible, but every time I click down download on the prompt it brings me to the screen online to buy a membership to Adobe Creative Cloud. Do I need a membership to update or is there something simple I'm missing? Tanks

Lightroom 5 upgrade (windows) thinks the EXE is completely downloaded. is not.

currently running 5.5. v5.6 and v5.7 EXE updates had same issue. download ends at 500-600mb and then throws error during install. Ive purchased LR separately and as part of CC on another machine

I'm trying to install adobe acrobat XI pro, the trial version. The Install Download Assist pops up but the program doesn't install. I do see a file named XI Pro, but not a program. It seems the program never completely downloads. Any suggestions? Thanks.
