UPDATING PROBLEM CS 6
Hi
I've been running cs6 for over twelve months with all updates going ahead notifying me of when available and me selecting an updating.
I re-installed in February the whole CS6 suite no problems. Updates continued okay.
Re-installed entire computer system yesterday and today and now CS6 Master suite won't update - goes so far and with 2,.2gbs of updates to do stops and says to go and download the update manager and adobe says its no longer supported.
How do I get the updates - Lightroom 5 updates as does Acrobat X part of suite, but nothing else?
Why was the programs updating okay a few sweeks ago and now they aren't?

Further on the problem above:
To be precise it says "Adobe Application Manager failed to initialis": and be updated itself.
It then says to then "contact adobe support advisor to dtect the proble." but when you do thios it says it's been discontinued and sends you to another page for CS6 which refers you back to the discontinued page at the bottom of its screed, for resolution. NOT GOOD ADOBE!

Is there any reasonable way to update Photoshop CS6 to 13.1.2?

I never had a problem updating my CS6 products until I signed up for CC. I run both versions of Photoshop, CC because it is more capable, and CS6 because ALL my plug-ins work. Now that CC has decided to do my CS6 updating for me, I can't get the new version to install.
Let me editorialize a moment; in a more forthright world, the CC installers should be advertised as the betaware that they are. A casual glance at the forum posts more than proves this.
To be fair, I did remove the non US English localizations and legal files. Those were nothing more than 'Dust bunnies' on my hard drive, which would never have been left in place if the original CS6 installer had offered that rather obvious option. Adobe has offered nothing in the way of solutions except the speculative answers that removal of this 'cruft' is PROBABLY the cause of the update failure, and that uninstalling CS6 and reinstalling MIGHT remedy the problem. If not, it has been suggested to run a CS6 cleanup utility prior to reinstallation. Nowhere is there mention of collateral damage (loss of plug-ins, actions, etc.) which might result from following this approach. Such a blunderbuss solution is the equivalent of a medical team removing a lung and kidney to alleviate the discomfort of an ingrown toenail.
First, my CS6 is a perpetually licensed product. What gives Adobe the right to lump it in with a cloud product that needs to be reactivated far too frequently. Secondly, how do such poorly written installers make it through in-house quality assurance?
Any software suite will have components that a user will never want to install, and many will leave garbage like language files, of use only in other corners of the world. These things beg to be removed, and until CC came along, there was never a penalty for doing so.
If there are any real experts at Adobe, perhaps they can lobby the designers to write better installers or perhaps come up with a far less painful workaround.
Finally, browsing the forums has convinced me that the cloud-only approach has left many of Adobe's customers monumentally dissatisfied. I count myself among them.
The ultimate test of the cloud will be server response, security and down-time. So far, the jury remains out on security and down-time, but server response is already dreadful at certain times of day. For example, it took me almost five minutes to log in this evening. What will happen when someone needs to reactivate prior to an important rush project, and some hacker, internal foul-up or an act of God has brought the servers to their knees?

Problem with downloading updates for CS6 and Camera Raw 7.4

I am unable to update my CS6 to get the latest updates and latest Camera Raw for Canon 6D. I get an error message that says close Adobe Bridge. Photoshop is closed and as far as I can tell Adobe Bridge is closed. What do I do now?

Getting an "u43m1d204" error when trying to update Illustrator CS6

I keep getting an "u43m1d204" error when trying to update Illustrator CS6 to 16.2.1 as part of my Creative Cloud subscription.
I'm updating via the Adobe Applicatioin Manager (Version 7.0.0.233 (7.0.0.233)).

Updated InDesign CS6 and not unexpectedly quits and won't open

Hi, I just updated indesign cs6 (for mac) this morning and now it won't open and just crashes with the "InDesign has unexpectedly quit" window. PhotoShop, Ilustrator and Dreamweaver all seem to be opening and working fine but it's InDesign I need! Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Sorry I haven't replied earlier. I re-downloaded the original version InDesign from the my adobe user site and installed it again, I also used Onyx to clear all permission, preferences etc and restarted which got it working again. I'm in the middle of doing a massive project that has very tight deadlines so I don't think I'll try updating again until it's finished. Adobe CS6 in general doesn't seem to be updating properly at all, either through the app store on mountain lion or through the adobe updater system. Is this a common problem do you know? I have tried updating Photoshop CS6 three times now and have gotten this message each time:
Of course there is no record of this error code online. I have installed and RE-installed CS6 and fussed with all of the
font issues. My photoshop STILL will not update and STILL crashes on a whim whenever it feels like it.
Any help?!??? I'm BEYOND FRUSTRATED at this point!! I would just forget it, but I need Photoshop for my work.

I have tried restarting my machine. When I go back into Photoshop Help for the update it can't find any updates available for Photoshop?!?!?!?!? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Can't update InDesign CS6 v 8.0 to v 8.0.2

When I try to update Indesign CS6 from 8.0 to 8.0.2 it takes me to the Application Manager, but the AM says all my CS products are up to date. So i tried downloading the patch separately, and it says it's not applicable. So actually, the AM won't show any updates for any other products even though i'm sure they're out dated some too.

You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.

ACR 7.4 update for CS6

Updater mechanism (CS6) is not seeing the available ACR 7.4 update. Any recommendations for access to the update? Running Mac OS X 10.8.3. Upon upgragding to CS6, Adobe Application Manager stopped finding available updates. I have had to manually update Photoshop/Bridge ever since the CS6 upgrade. "All applications are up-to-date" has been the only message received when searching for updates.

Reinstalled Photoshop CS6 from the "Your Downloads" page.
Opened CS6 13.0. Checked for updates. Application Manager found updates for Bridge, Ext. Mgr., Photoshop and Camera Raw.

"Update Failed," Try again
later or contact customer support which included a link to nowhere and a number (U44M1|216).
I did try to "try again later," to no avail!

Photoshop update (of CS6) terminates in error.

I recently enrolled in the CC monthly plan for Photoshop and downloaded Photoshop CC. Both my Photoshop CS6 and Photoshop CC work fine, though they are somewhat different.
Adobe updater informs me an update is available for Photoshop CS6. When I try to update, the process terminates with an error message after about half the download is completed.
I get the same notice with the same result for Photoshop Extension Manager, which is also shown as an avialble update.
Each failure is accompanied with a message, "Some components of the following products could not be updated successfully." and icons for PS CS6 and PS Extension Manager are shown.
I have copies of the log files for both, but neither
1. Now what? I've tried this several times.
2. Is there a point in updating PS CS6 if I have Photoshop CC installed?

It seems error is coming due to ExMan failure. Ps must be updated now, Verify the same by Ps->About Photoshop.
Try installing ExMan from here:

After successful installation try updating again through Help->Update.
If it still exists then for ExMan issue please provide us with the following logs.
