Updating Personal settings in ME21n and ME51n

Hi Guru,
i am trying to update the personal settings tab of plant , company code and puchase organization in me21n by using user exit. it is not refelecting the plant at item level.
can any one sugggest me proper answer

you have to set the field 'Element' in table ESDUS to
'NNNN----
X' for action POItemProposer WERKS
where
NNNN is the number of the plant
the '-' stands for blanks
X indicates that this value should always be proposed ...
anyway: why don't you communicate with your users in order to enable them to understand the significance of the personal settings in enjoy transactions. this would be of much more benefit unless you intend to change that table on a daily/hourly ... basis.

Personal Settings in ME21n Purchase Order

Hi frnds,
In Me21n -- create purchase order screen i have a tab called as Personal settings where i can go and assign some default fields like Plant , StrLoc ............. .
Now i want to deactivate it for some particular users .
How to to it ? At configuration level should i do it .Or can the Basis person go and remove the object or field from that particular list.If yes what is that object or field which the Basis person should deactviate ??

This can be done through user specific settings.
For the particular user click on the user settings and remove the default values and save.
It will not display.

Personal Settings in ME21n

Hello everybody...
i spend almost the whole day today, trying to find where the "Personal Settings" data of the ME21N Transaction are stored (I mean this "Personal Settings" button on the right, where you can set default values for for example 'purchasing org.').
So if anybody knows how to read them in the ABAP code, please tell me.

ESDUS is the db table and also take a look at class CL_PERSONALIZATION_MM..
Also, take a look at fm ES_READ_USER_SETTINGS
Infact take a look at all the fms with ES*

Dafult Values in Me21n ( Personal Settings)

Dear All,
In the personal settings of ME21N at PO item level I want to add the Reminder level 1, 2 & 3 as default value ( i.e 1 level as 3 , 2nd level as 4 & 3rd level as 6 )
I know it comes from INFO records & inabsence of info records it comes from material master purchasing value keys but when ever i open the screen of ME21N, buyer should get the reminder level fixed as a default.
Is it possible? If yes could u pl. help me out by telling me how to do it.

The Reminder Levels Cannot be set as Default in Purchase Order Since either they can be Pulled from Purchase Info Record or Material Master.
The Best Possible Solution is Update the Material Master Purchase Value key to all Material Master Records / Purchase Info Records.
I dont think it is Possible thru SHD0 Transaction Variant Also.

I want to see what SAP Standard Fields are Hidden for these T-codes.
I want to use and Non Used Field ( Hidden SAP Field) for new Enhancement instead of creating a custom Tab

Update managed settings when logging in

Hi all , after updating to Mavericks whenever i try to login i always get a "update managed settings" popping up and taking few minutes of my time
how can i make it stop? or is it a new thing?

Is anyone eles seeing this as well? I have updated a test client and it hangs for about 1 minute at each login if offline or connected to a different network. I have as you suggested removed the profiles and re-enrolled but still seeing the same. In the log I get:

I'm fine with disabling the pre-login check (since we push anyways), but I don't seem to see that setting. We have *not* yet upgraded to Server 3 - these are Server 2 profiles generated with ProfileManager. Thoughts anyone?

No. If you go Settings App > General > Reset > "Erase All Content and Settings", you will have the same iOS that was on the iPhone when you tapped the Erase button. If you believe your iPhone is Jailbroken, then this will not work. If you use iTunes on computer, this will put iPhone to current iOS which is iOS 7.0.2

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
Personal Hotspot should be at Settings > Cellular Data > Personal Hotspot

Notification of update settings not working and represent an intrusion on my privacy, security and work

I am getting so irritated by Firefox update notifications interrupting my work and autmatic processes on MY computer. So much so that I regard this as an intrusion on my privacy and security. If necessary I will set up a web site to mount a campaign against this outrageous practice, which from reading some of the posts accessible I can see are also a source of concern to other users.
Even in the best case where I could tolerate choosing a response "Ask later" providing that does not give Firefox carteblanche to ask me in 5 minutes.
This is particulalrly irritating for me as I have my computer set up to perform automatic operations which then get sabotaged by these notification settings appearing frequently. I don't really want to have to chnage browser becasue I don't know if the others are any better.
I require a clear answer from some of thse Mozilla staff on how I can kill these settings taking over my computer within 24 hours or I reserve the right to set up a campaign site to highlight this unacceptable behaviour on mozilla's part.
I would also advise Mozilla only IF they are interested in getting community support to streamline their web site so that users can more easily find out how to become members able to put questions, however uncomfortable for Mozillla.

If you had lost 30 hours of work becasue of the constant nagging presence of these ridiculous notifications which you can postpone only by clicking "ask me later" and no other option e.g. 10 days. never again etc etc, you might sympathise with me.
Note please I used the word staff, hopefully there are some persons who receive a salary, I certainly don't expect volunteers to spend their valuable time on me. Though it does happen, possibly even in the case of ed-meister who provided me with a solution.
So I reject your points, and hopefully some other users will benefit from the above. Too often software companies get away with far too much viz Microsoft who still insist on providing a 100 updates that users should install only to receive 90% failure rates becasue Microsoft a're too lazy or unintellignt to understand they have to be installed in a specific order. So why don't they provide them in that order rather than forcing half their users to spend hours figuring out why they have blue screens. Without any compensation because they have batteries of lawyers to protect them against negligence.
And Microsoft again. Taken over Skype, wanted to update my Skype 45 minutes later still tryi ng to log in.
We need some user/consumer revolutions IMHO, so ultimatums and campaigns are or will be in my retirement the name of the game!

Try this:
On all impacted devices, go to settings, messages, send & receive and place a checkmark next to only those phone numbers and email addresses listed you want that device to recognize.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

Hard Drive: The Hard Drive is on my camera (Sony Handycam)
Just needed some info on what is going on with your particular system.
Knowing the exact camera model will also assist us.
If this camera is standard AVCHD you should be able to connect with USB to Mac with FCE open and use Log and Transfer without all the fiddling around converting etc.
What FCE does during ingest is convert files to AIC. (Apple Intermediate Codec)
FCE cannot read the individual files in the BDMV folder, that's why all the converting is required when you use that method.
BTW: regards formatting drives/cards/memory on cameras; it is wise to use the actual device to format rather than a computer. This is a prime cause of read/write goof ups with solid state media. This applies to still or video cameras.
Keeping the COMPLETE card/memory structure in tact is vital for successful transfers.
