Updating product catalog.. pls help

Hi Friends,
I have to update the product attributes( attributes created under a characteristics list, and if i assign char list to a area, these attributes can be seen for each product).
I want to update/insert new attribute values to all products under a product area's product catalog.
is there any function module to update the attributes????
can u tell me how can i do this via code?

I have one issue which is lagging for long time.
I am searching for a Function module which could be used to copy an existed product catalog to create a new product catalog.
if you go to comm_pcat_adm -> enter one PCAT which is already there and say copy catalog and entering new catalog name to which we want to copy .
this is manual doing.
i want a FM which could take care of the above manual intervention.
PLease let me know the FM ASAP.

Nokia N91 crashes with SOFTAWARE UPDATER!!PLS HELP...

I have this huge problem...I have a Nokia N91 ,for which I payed 500Euro and I just bought it for one week..I tried the The Nokia Software Updater and it all gone fine until the end ,when I got the message on the screen that the program lost the connection..and this is when the nightmare start...the phone crashed...now it only turning on and it staying on a white screen and it not doing nothing...not even turning OFF...I am very dissapointed about this,....I can`t belive that it is possible to releaase something that is ruining your phone...
Can anyone have a solution for this???The phone is brought from out my country and I can`t ship it to waranty!!!!Please help!!!!!

Hi, reading from some other threads in this forum, could it be the update failed due to the phone not having enough charge?
Try plugging it into the mains for an hour or to. Then try the soft format suggested above.
completely remove all Nokia software from your PC, download and install the latest Nokia Updater, download and install the latest PC Suite for the N91. Now connect your Nokia to the PC via the USB cable, leaving it plugged into the mains.
If that doesn't work that I have no idea and an engineer may be the only solution. Your phone is under warranty, but bear in mind this may have been voided by your attempting to update at home. Also, for such an expensive phone, I'd only trust genuine Nokia service centres with it.
Hope this helps - may have an idea you've not tried yet.

Ipod Nano wont auto update anymore ? pls help

I have been using my Nano for a long time. Recently my daughter got the Ipod shuffle and I was trying to figure out how to make a seperate library for her, which i never figured out. Somehow in the course of trying to figure that problem out I managed to mess up my Ipod.
Now when i plug in my ipod it brings it up as a folder, no longer is it auto updating and adding new songs or anything. Please any help is appreciated.
Plus is it possible to have seperate library's for two or more Ipods on one computer ??

always says that it cannot download the latest version of quicktime beacause the original version of quicktime cannot be removed. Quicktime wont let uninstall or remove it in anyway so that I can update to itunes 7.0.
okay. let's try the following procedure with that.
Download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. then use it to clear any existing QuickTime installation configuration information from your PC:

Next, we’ll manually remove leftover program files and folders.
1. On the Start menu, click My Computer (or double-click My Computer on the Desktop).
2. In My Computer, open Local Disk.
3. Open Program Files.
4. Right-click on the QuickTime folder and click Delete from the shortcut menu.
5. Navigate to C:\Windows\system32\.
6. Remove the files QuickTime.qts and QuicktimeVR.qtx.
7. Restart your computer.
does an itunes install go through properly now?

Alright so i have a 5g 30 gig ipod and i just downloaded itunes 7 and have connected my ipod to it...whenever i click on update button... the Do not Disconnect Sign goes off of my ipod and theres this bar that says Updating ipod and the loading bar just keeps restarting...i have left this bar up for about an hour but its not doin anything...i've tried everything i've restored my ipod to factory settings and reinstalled ipod software so its like a brand new ipod but nothing seems to work....can ayone please help.

did you try dling the new update rather using itunes to do it for you. or did you do it the other way. well when i updated i used itunes to update with that note that tells you that you need to update and it worked fine. it dled the update then it puts it in your ipod then your ipod should restart itself and then restart your computer and then the update will occur when you plug your ipod in

You might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
If it then works on your computer's iTunes but not your iPad / iPhone / iPod Touch then try logging out of your account on the device by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

Iphone not syncing after updating itunes 10.5. pls help

Hi apologies but I am new to all this stuff. I updated itunes to version 10.5 and I think my iphone 4 was synced in during this. After itunes had updated I found that my iphone wasnt synced in any longer. I pulled out connecter and re connected but still nothing. Rang apple tech support (on hold for an hour in cue). They tried couple of things and then advised to uninstall itunes then reinstall. I have done that but still not recognising iphone. I can sync to my other apple computer but if I try and upgrade to iOS5 on that it says I need to go to the normal computer it is synced with or I'll lose some apps etc. I dont think my iphone has the latest iOS 5 on it yet. Can anyone pls help? Apple support now closed :-( thanks

I am also in the same boat.
Windows 7 on Alienware laptop - no problems at all until upgrade of iTunes client to 10.5.
After the upgrade, attempts to sync my iPhone 4 hang at "Step 1 of 4: Backing up Rob's iPhone" (for over 12 hours)
I have read hundreds of documents with various solutions.
1) Delete backup file from C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
2) Stop stuck MDCrashReport and AppleMobileBackup processes
3) Reinstall iTunes
It all FAILS. I work in IT and can assure you that nothing changed but whatever was changed by the iTunes application as it was upgraded to 10.5. This 2 day extravaganza is ridiculously frustrating and creating a rabid anti-apple sentiment in my house. Why the F would you (Apple) release something that is mandatory for me to use with my iPhone and have it be this buggy P.O.S.? (Rhetorical - no need to answer, please just fix this problem so I can sync and backup my phone).

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
The screen you're seeing on your iPhone indicates it is in recovery mode. Now since the device is not appearing in iTunes on your PC, first follow the steps in this article:

After following those steps, you should be able to restore your iPhone.

So I just did this on my iPhone 4 and it worked like a charm it unlocked it immediately. My phone was put into recovery mode and I know that not all data is deleted it just puts the phone into a sort of hibernation in order for the files to stay uncorrupted. I went to http://www.recovery-ipad.com/iphone-stuck-in-recovery-mode.html downloaded the software it unlocked my phone in a matter of minutes. Calls, messages, photos, apps, and voicemail was all there as if it never happened If you leave it unregistered you don't have to pay for it works for either windows or mac. Hope this helps!

If you go into the Media player, are you able to hear the tones?
Try clearing out the Sounds/Profiles database as shown in KB10167 and reconfigure them.
