Updating spa 112 with firmware 1.0.2 (006)

I recently purchased a spa 112 and configured for the VoIP offered by my ISP. It work more or less fine but I would like to update to the latest firmware to have access to call display and other options.
The update process mentioned specifying a path where the new firmware is saved in the Phone Adapter Configuration Utility under the administration "tab". In my case, all that shows up on the left hand side is the quick setup option. This is true regardless of the actual tab selected.
It looks like I have an older hardware (1.0.0) and firmware 1.0.2 (006) version. Could someone direct me to the procedure to update to a newer firmware?

I had exactly the same problem. My original firmware was as well 1.0.2 and I wanted to upgrade to 1.3.3. However changing the browser didn't work (IE 8, IE 11, Firefox, Chromium, Safari).
Instead I used the following direct upgrade link:
http:///Upgrade_run.asp;session_id=
where has to be replaced by the generated ID after login (see address bar).
Example:

Battery Update 1.4 does not update my battery with firmware version: 102a

I was happy to see this update come out recently as my battery does lose power when the computer is powered down but I wanted to fully research it first because there's no going back with these firmware updates.
From Apple's page about this 1.4 update:
Batteries with this information in the Battery Information section [of Apple System Profiler] need this update:
A device name "ASMB016" or "ASMB013" in the serial number
A Pack Lot Code is 0002
A battery firmware version of 0110
Everything on my system matches except my battery firmware is version: 102a
Figuring that 102a was a lower firmware version than 0110 I went ahead and installed the update but I don't think my battery has been updated. I got no notice that it was being updated as others, on other forums, have described seeing and nothing in Apple System Profiler has changed.
A quick Google search showed that plenty of other people are asking on the web about this version 102a firmware as well.
So, any idea what the deal is with batteries that have the firmware version 102a? I got this current battery under the recall program as the original one that came with my MacBook was one of the bad ones.
This whole MacBook battery business has been a nightmare. It's wasted hours of my time, and is a real black eye on what is otherwise a good computer experience.

Burning dual layer dvd+rs with a pioneer dvd-rw dvr-112 with firmware 1.15

can i do this? i have tried once before and failed, if i have to update firmware do i follow the same instructions as for the dvr-109 as in the below thread/topic? i always us verbatim dvds so that shouldn't be an issue. i notice that dvd-r dual layer dvds are getting scarce and are pricey...... exact instructions would be very helpful if i have to update the firmware would be very very much appreciated as i've heard updating firmware is tricky and risky if not done right proper!!! cheers in advance......

OS X 10.4 supports DVD+R DL burning.
So does the Pioneer.
DVD-R DL isn't supported in OS X10.4, but is in OS X 10.5.

What was the failure? Error reported? What method was used?
Firmware versions up to 1.24 are available, though 1.15 had the improvements for DL burning. 1.21 adds for specific media, and 1.24 improve CD-R support.

If you consider updating the firmware, the method is exactly the same as for other drives, using DVRFlash.

I later cancelled my phone number and switched my internet to cable (since I was on DSL before).
I can no longer successfully complete a fax ever since I switched to cable internet. I don't know why because the speed is 3 times faster upload and 5 times faster download.
I'm guessing there is a setting that needs to be changed in the ATA admin panel to adjust for cable internet.
My configuration settings are attached as screenshots.

SPA 112 PROBLEM WITH SIMULTANEOUS CALLS

HELLO,I HAVE A PROBLEM IN THE ATA SPA 112 ABOUT SIMLUTANEOUS CALLS. The ata has 2 lines,when a call falls in line 1, the call on line 2 falls at the same time...and when I'm on line 1 and I recevive a call on line 2 the call in line 1 becomes mute and then drops.I didn' have these problems with the old pap2t .
Can you please help me to solve this problem ? Do I have to change something in the configuration ? Thanks,Mario

I had found out about the timing problem in the meantime, but did not find a way to mark this thread as solved.
There are two timing values: one is the PSTN answer delay, and the other one the PSTN ring timeout.
It seems that ring timeout should be longer than ring time + ring pause. As long as this conndition is not met. the dial plan is not even considered

Cisco SPA 112 outbound call issue.

Firstly, i applogize if i havent posted this in the correct section but this was my best educated guess.
Recently upgraded to a Cisco SPA 112 which works fine.. but only for a few days,
then If i try to call a number i get the dial tone but the number fails to
connect & all i hear is silence. If i hang up the phone to retry it fails to
disconnect correctly and i get no dial tone for several minutes. After leaving the phone
hungup for a few mins the dail tone returns but the same problem is still present.
A hard/soft reset of the 112 fixes the issue temporarily, but reoccures again withinn a few days.
Running Sipgate on lines 1 and 2 on Virgin media UK ISP.

We are using Cisco SPA 112 adapter and it is having 2 lines,I configured both of the lines.
There is no issue in line 1 but line 2 is automatically went to disable mode.After that i have to manually enabled that option.

How do i update the thunderbolt bus firmware of my iMac?

I am a beginner at working with OSX so please understand that i need specific information if you ask me to do anything. I have a specific problem with setting up thunderbolt display. I wish to set up my second iMac as a secondairy screen using target display mode. The situation is the following:
I have two mid 2011 iMac models and a thunderbolt cable. One of these iMacs has thunderbolt bus firmware version 22.1 and the other has 25.1. Both machines are running OSX Mavericks, with all no extra updates available in the app store (all updates have been installed). When i connect them via the thunderbolt cable, the status in system information > hardware > thunderbolt remains on "port: status: no device found". pressing cmd + f2 logically does nothing as long as the iMac does not recognize the other iMac.
When i connect the iMac with the 25.1 firmware version, to another iMac from a colleague, which also has firmware version 25.1 via the same thunderbolt cable, i could use it as a second screen.
From what i know there are two options now:
- my second imac has a broken thunderbolt port
- my second imac needs a firmware update to version 25.1
I have, however, no idea how to verify either of these things. Googling on how to update the thunderbolt bus firmware does not give any good results and the app store offers no thunderbolt firmware upgrades anymore (thunderblt firmware update 1.2 is already installed). hence i am trying to solve this via the community now.
Do any of you have any ideas on how to procede? i prefer to fix this issue without taking it to a service center.

5300: Problem with firmware upgrade

I have Nokia 5300 Xpressmusic with firmware version 4.7. I have recently download Nokia Software Updater and tried to update my phone via USB cable connection. The software runs fine, it identifies my phone correctly, checks for update & tells me that V5.5 is available & downloads it successfully. The problem is that when I press the 'Upgrade' button, 1st it reboots my phone in 'Test Mode', then the 'Preparing installation' window remains on the screen for a couple of minutes & then it gives out an error saying "Connection to phone lost". I've tried reconnecting my cable but it still gives out the same error. Fortunately when I took the batteries out & reinserted & started my phone, it turned on successfully with the previous firmware version. But I still cant get it upgraded. I switched to another PC & tried it there but it still gives out the same error at the same stage. Kindly help me out with this, what is going on here?

Get it updated at Nokia care. If the phone is in warrenty they do it free for you.

Airport Extreme Simultaneous Dual-Band port forwarding broken if only TCP ports with firmware 7.6.1

When configuring my Airport Extreme Simultaneous Dual-Band router, port forwarding is broken if you only specify TCP ports to forward. This is with firmware 7.6.1. What happens is that after you hit the Update button, when the router comes back and you open the port forwarding entry, the IP is still there but the port numbers are missing.
I tried all different port numbers and ranges and nothing would stick if i only specified TCP ports. If i added UDP ports with the TCP ports then it would save them. And if you add a new entry with only UDP it saves them too.
Now this is with adding a new port forwarding. I already have existing ports being forwarded that only have TCP. They are still working. I believe i added them with a previous version of the firmware.
Any one else see this issue? Any ideas?
Maybe i should perform a hard reset and reload a saved config.

I haven't seen the issue but you could just downgrade to an earlier firmware:

ACR + Canon 5d2 with firmware upgrade?

Canon released a frimware upgrade for the 5D Mark II which claims to fix the "black dot" problem and a SRAW1 banding problem. Very little feedback has been reported by users, but some reports imply that the new firmware creats a new RAW file that can not be properly processed by current raw converters. Claims are that old converters will convert the new RAW files, but with some wierd color shifts.
That claim is fueled by Canon's own statement that you must get an updated version of their DPP program to properly process the new RAW and SRAW files. But what about Adobe Camera Raw? Can anyone confirm or deny that old/current versions of ACR will not properly process 5D Mark II raw files?
If true, is an update to ACR coming? More important, will Adobe be able to apply whatever correction is necessary within the DNG Converter? So those of us with CS3 who are stuck forever with ACR 4.5 can process firmware-updated 5d MarkII raw files correctly?
Not a critical problem, because you can apparently function quite well without the firmware upgrade. But the upgrade is a path of no return. Once upgraded, you can't go back to the original firmware version if problems with ACR exist.

Won't update to 7.1 firmware

Downloaded the update. Restarted my MacBook Pro after install. Then, opened up Airport Utility. There's a selector next to version 7.0 which asks to upgrade to 7.1. Always get "an error occurred while updating the base station firmware...please make sure your base station is plugged in and in range of your computer and try again." Each try results in the same error message.
Any thoughts?

As in my case, because the download was interrupted, no way was the upgrade to 7.1 going to work.
The 7.1 version was incapable of updating the firmware (because it wasn't all there).
As suggested, I then deleted the previously interrupted 7.1 firmware download (Users/"Your User Name"/Library/Application Support/Apple/AirPort/Firmware) which was labled something like "104."
I trashed the whole folder and reran AirPort Utility.
It told me that an update was ready.
I clicked on the download button and the update (after approval) immediately followed, with everything checking out OK.
Works fine!

Serious Problem after update my 5800 with 40.0.005...

Yesterday,I updated my 5800 with FW 40.0.005. I really impressed with the new easy way of move in touch screen but this version has a big problem that I considered.
First,you have to set as a ring an .mp4 file or any video file and then lock your mobile 5800.
When you have an incomming call the screen isn't working normally and it stops for miliseconds and starts again!
When it happens the power of mobile increasing sharply and I am upset what it could happen if the call continue too much.
Please somebody check it as soon as possible because it may do harm to our mobile by any explosion from this problem!
For temporary solution a suggest not to set video files as a ringtone and if you want to do this don't lock your mobile which helps the video file to work normally.
