Updating the CS4 Bridge database

Does Bridge CS4 write the keywords I assign to an image right away? Or does it do it every so often?
If Bridge doesn't write the keywords I add to it's database right away, is there a way I can force it do so?

You should see both the keywords added to the image and any new keyword added to keyword pannel in a second or two.

AE CS4 loses the mxf support when update the CS4 production suite

I have this problem when updating the CS4 production suite - the support for mxf in AE is gone and this happend almost every time I use the Adobe update. My only solution is to install AE again. Is there a fix for this?

That was just a shot in the dark. The XDCAM codecs are among the codecs that installed separately because they aren't included in the trial version; they get installed when you activate the software (i.e., enter the serial number).
I'd be curious to know whether you can import AVCHD footage when the XDCAM footage isn't working, since those codecs are part of the same package. So are the CC effect plug-ins and Keylight. Do those appear as installed when you have the XDCAM problem?

Can we update The extended VBPA database table using BAPI

Our scenario is to when modifying the sales order using the bapi BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE we need to update the two fields star_date and end_date of VBPA table for the corresponding Ship to or Sold to partner for the Given Sales Order.

YES You can, You should be updating this to fields using a BAPI - "BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE" and use table user this BAPI "EXTENSIONIN" to update this fields. Refer to BAPI documentation for more reference. Please check below code which was done for VBAK (2 date fields).

When I launch bridge from PS CS5, it opens the CS4 bridge, not CS5. How can I change the default?

I wouldn't normally mind, however I've noticed Bridge CS4 is a lot slower than CS5 and there are minor appearance issues that I dont like in CS4.

Just got a brand new Mac pro, new user account and guess what, same error!
There are also no startup scripts in bridge meaning I can't create contact sheets and invoke error message in PS when clicking the bridge tab in Photoshop.
Adobe am I just unlucky or do you still have an installer bug present which you haven't fixed since last year?

Why is there a difference in upgrading early to the Galaxy S3 (i.e. the "Iconic Pre-order")? For example, i have a line with upgrade date 08/01/12...yet we have a "$100 off early Upgrade to 4g". I've been told this doesn't work on the Galaxy S3 an upgrade, yet i could upgrade to any other phone currently. To me this is unacceptable.
LAST QUESTION:
I've been instructed by a Verizon Rep that the only way to complete this is to perform an upgrade on the 28th for $100 off any 4g phone (let's say RAZR), renew the unlimited data, and then return the phone within the 14 day period for the SGS3 (but ya'll keep pushing back the release date, which is making me nervous). Will the system allow for switching out phones via your Return Policy after 06/28 while retaining the Unlimited data? If not it means anyone who upgrades their phones with unlimited data will not have a standard 14 day return policy.
Clarification would be great as there is no official word on this anywhere on the internet.

Changing the FileName & Directory of a mapping by updating the database .

In one of the ETL tools which I have worked before ( constellar) , It was possible to change the filename & directory associated with a program/interface/mapping dynamically by simply updating the tables of database. Is that possible in OWB. ( anyway when we implemented we did that by changing the scheduler shell script ) , just because of curiosity I am raising this doubt ?.

You can set the location however the file is stored in all_rt_objects in a clob. I don't know how the modify the filename in the clob dynamic.
NOTE the mentioned objects are views.

How do I find images in LR 2.4 (imported from CS4 Bridge) that have color labels already assigned In CS4 Bridge? I have set both Bridge and LR color labels text to match (eg Green for green, etc).

How do you find images in LR 2.4 that have been imported from CS4 Bridge and have been assigned a color label in Bridge? I have set both LR 2.4 and my CS4 Bridge to match the text for each color to be the same (eg. Green for green, etc), and the filter search in LR 2.4 shows that a label has been assigned, but I am unable to identify and locate the specific images in LR 2.4 that have had a color label assigned from CS4 Bridge. I have tried to search via attribute, metadata, text, etc...Is it necessary to re-assign color labels all over again, image by image, in LR 2.4, or is there a way to automatically have the color labels assigned in CS4 Bridge be assigned and searchable to the images after they have been imported into the LR 2.4 catalogue from the Bridge program?

I closed both programs and re-imported photos and re-tried the action of having LR read the XMP metadata from the CS4 files, and it seems to work now just fine...don't know why now and not before, but thanks much. Is there a way to have LR do this automatically upon import of images from CS4? I tried to do this with an import metadata preset, but no luck. It seems as if I can only do this once the images have already been imported into LR, and then to have to have LR read the metadata from the CS4 Bridge files. thanks gain.

Auto fill subject with an Email link in CS4 Bridge flash web gallery

Is there a way to autofill the subject line of the email link in the CS4 Bridge flab web galleries? I can do it if I use the html gallery, but I prefer the look of the flash galleries.
If I open the "group.xml" file I see code for me email link, exp.: <contactEmail>maillto:[email protected]</contactEmail>
I tried adding the "?subject=My Subject" like I would on an html file but that didn't work. I was hoping for some suggestions.

Helas, CS4 does not 'remember' the settings as saved in a new workspace.
Once you have (re-)started the computer the bridge has to be re-arranged again.

i mean i can tag photos and rating, photos in different folders and different hard disk
well if i want to see all the photos rated 5 star , can i do it?
with bridge cs3(it has not a dabase) i had to use the search tool or set the filter and browse the folders
but this with cs3 overload the cpu because every time scan photos for the info
well with bridge cs4 can i do it , has a database , or also cs4 has to scan every time all the photos?
my last question is can i make a filter and save it , i mean use the same filter every time brigde cs4 start up
for example filter ->files jpg and raw files , save this filter (i tried to make a scipt ,but i was not able to do it)
and every time bridge cs4 start up ,works with this filter?

Bridge does have a database, but Bridge is designed to work as a browser. It doesn't catalog files.
You're better off asking these questions in the Bridge forums, as well.

in Dutch it says that there are no updates available. I know that after
installing cs4 there are updates but i can't load them automatically. I did
a delete and reinstall, but still get the message.
