Updating to 10.5.1 if iCloud not Used?

I neither need nor want a wireless network, and have decided not to use iCloud. Would there be any point to updating to iTunes 10.5.1? If I did so, are there options during installation not to turn on iCloud or sign up for Match? I am assuming that future updates of iTunes will include the features of 10.5.1 and do not want to be forced to use iCloud or Match. thanks for any info...

iCloud can only be signed up on your computer through the System Preferences on Mac OS X or in Control Panel on Windows Vista or 7.

How can I reach my iCloud notes using a PC with WinXP.?

Last week I was on the road and needed to reach some info I wrote on a Note using my iPhone to my iCloud... I left my iPhone at Home and Only had access to an old internet access PC with Windows XP but was not sure how to reach my iCloud notes... I tried the iCloud site but asking me to setup iCloud on that PC.. The PC had a limited user account so basically I was not able to install anything on it...

Obviously, if you plan to connect the AirPort Express to a modem, the Ethernet port on the Express will be utilized for the Internet connection, so no other Ethernet ports will be available.
If this is the case, you will need to look into obtaining a router with 3-4 Ethernet ports to allow both your AirPort Express and computer to connect.

I would like to seek for you help, to resolve a problem.
I need to know how can i update the EINDT(date) field in the EKES table.
Is there any Function Module or BAPI available for update EKES-EINDT ?
And my requirement is don't use BDC.
Currently I am doing in following way
LOOP AT I_DATA.
UPDATE EKES SET EINDT = P_NEWDAT
WHERE EBELN = I_DATA-EBELN
AND EBELP = I_DATA-EBELP
AND ETENS = I_DATA-ETENS.
ENDLOOP.
I know we should not update standard table directly. This will only update EKES it will not update other tables related with EKES-EINDT.
Got my point?

HT4859 Is backing up over iCloud not using iTunes the same as doing a full backup on iTunes?

My recent laptop has broken, I had to format it and now when I try downloading iTunes again it doesnt work at all, I have tried ridiculous amounts of times. I am going to send my phone off for repair and I need to know if backing up over iCloud via the iPhone backs up the same contents as doing a full back up on iTunes.

You really can't. Updates come via the web interface directly to the printer.
However, the printer will support both USB and wireless connections simultaneously. Do you have a wireless network?

Icloud not using some of my storage space...

I have 15GB of icloud storage, but no matter what it always says I have 10.1 GB available. Why isn't it using the other 5 GB? What am I missing here? Thanks!

Change your iTunes (Apple ID) password along with any other password that was stored in the iPod. If any passwords are associated with credit cards, contact the CC company and get your card replaced (with a new number). iPhone do not do automatic update. You have to manually trigger the updates.
If your Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Automatic Downloads > Music, Apps, Books are ON then when you purchase any new content/item with any devices/computer iTunes, it will automatically download. Switch it OFF if you do not want that to happen.

Delete the FB app. It ***** anyway. LOL
Seriously, obviously the FB app is causing havoc on your phone. Delete it.
Then back up your phone to iTunes.
Make sure the FB app is not checked in iTunes so it won't go back on your device.
Restore (as a NEW PHONE) This puts on new firmware and not your corrupted data.
Plug back in to get your data back (except FB)
Re-download FB app from App Store->Updates->Purchases

This is being caused by using the same Apple ID for iMessage on both phones. To separate your messages, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and do one of the following:
Either uncheck the email address shown under "You can be reached by iMessage at" on both phones; or
If you want to continue to receive iMessages at this email address, on one of the two phones, tap the Apple ID at the top, sign out, then sign back in using a different Apple ID.

Without a backup on iCloud, there needs to be another device using the same @icloud address that is syncing to the notes. Without that, there is no way to go back in time to create a backup before performing a major update.

No you won't necessarily lose your photos when upgrading but it's very very unwise not to back up first. Backing up is like using a seat belt in a car. You can drive without one for years and have no issues, but if you do have a problem the outcome will be a lot worse. So, too, with back ups. And upgrading is one of those times when the risks of a problem are higher.
Most Simple Back Up:
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store

I think you can solve your problems by removing your AppleID email address from BOTH the Messages setting on your iPhone and the iMessages settings on your Mac.
On iPhone:
Settings > Messages > iMessage > Dissabled
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > touch the "(i)" < touch "Remove This Email"
On Mac:
Open "Messages" application
Click "Messages menu > Preferences
Click "Accounts"
Select your AppleID account
Under the "You can be reached for messages at" settings, uncheck your AppleID email address and your phone number
Then uncheck the "Enable this account" setting
And lastly, ask all of your friends with iPhones to delete all iMessage conversations (blue bubbles) in their entirety.
To test, send a friend a new text using their phone number (not their email address) and watch the color of the bubble. If it's green then you are using SMS.
