Updating XML and not seeing changes reflected

We have a very basic xml that we are using to insert a field into the custom panel.  The file is as follows:
<?xml version="1.0"><!DOCTYPE panel SYSTEM "[http://ns.adobe.com/custompanels/1.0 | http://ns.adobe.com/custompanels/1.0]"><panel title="$$$/CustomPanels/Acro/PanelName=TestPanel" version="1" type="custom_panel">group(placement: place_column, spacing: gLargeSpace, horizontal: align_fill, vertical: align_top){   cluster(name: '$$$/CustomPanels/TestPanel/widgetName=Sample Document Type', placement: place_column, spacing: gSpace, horizontal: align_left, margin_height:10, width : 300, height : 50, child_vertical: align_left)  {
    popup(items: '$$$/CustomPanels/TestPanel/Language/PopupItems=One{1};Two{2};Three{3};Four{4};Five{5}', xmp_path: 'TestDocType');
</panel>
Everything appeared to be working correctly until we tried to modify the xml to add additional items.  The new items do not appear in the list when modifying the metadata.  Do these files get cached?  Is there another way we are supposed to be making these changes?

Yes, there is caching.
To force an update to the cache, either:
A) update the modifyDate = "..."  line in the manifest.xml.
OR
B) Exit all programs that use File Info, remove the target custom
panel folder from "panels", launch one program, launch FIle Info. The
exit the program, and place the target custom panel folder back into
"panels".

  • How do I get messages to go back to an AIM account? It's only seeing the iPad's Facetime email address and not seeing the old AIM account name that is on my desktop. I am using my iMac using iChat to talk to a newer iMac that doesn't have iChat.

How do I get messages to go back to an AIM account? It's only seeing the iPad's Facetime email address and not seeing the old AIM account name that is on my desktop. I am using my iMac using iChat to talk to a newer iMac that doesn't have iChat. We had this working using Messages and Facetime (on the new machine) talking to my existing iChat account. One day last week, when Facetime rang, my kids answered on the iPad. Dang! Now it's all fouled up! The new iMac won't see my AIM account name and shows that I'm offline, because the iPad is off. We were able to call using "most recent call" in Facetime, but now I can't go and control that new iMac remotely to help with some email concerns the user is having. I'm trying to not personalize this too much, but it's grandkids talking to Grandma and Mom and Dad trying to solve new machine hiccups. Normally, I could just go in via iChat and control the other machine and troubleshoot, but I can't do it with Facetime only. My buddy list doesn't see  the other computer even though we are connected on Facetime right now. My name is not highlighted for the other computer. What could have gone so wrong?
    Any help would be appreciated.

  • IPod Classic updating ratings and not play counts in iTunes

I am currently using an iPod classic purchased in 2010 with iTunes 10.5.3.3.  however I encountered the same issue on 10.6.1 which made me think that if I downgraded that it would solve my problem but it hasn't.
Here is my problem. Over the past two weeks, I noticed that when I synched my  iPod my recenlty played playlist number went from 835 to 720. I typically listen to over  fifty songs throughout the course of the day. I have playlist set up to select songs based on a last played date. Last played not in the last 14 days. I last synched my iPod yesterday and I recently setup a new library that is less than 2 weeks old.
On the iPod everything was working fine. When I synched the iPod I noticed that the playlist reverted back to yesterday's status and that my ratings had changed but not the last played date and play counts did not update. Hence breaking the smart playlist functionality of Top 25 Most Played and any other playlist based on play counts. Also my podcasts are not updating as well. I listened to a podcast today and it is still showing up as new after syncing with iTunes.
I noticed that if I do a hard reset (Menu+center button) and resync then the playlist update from the point of the last. I have not encountered this problem until upgrading to 10.6.1.
I even went has far as deleting the itl files and letting iTunes create them again based off the XML and still the problem persists. I even created a new library and added new songs and the problem persist.
I would like to know a good way to getting the sync functionality to work properly and not just sync my ratings. Has anybody encountered this problem?

The rules for my recently played list is as follows:
Last Played is in the last 2 weeks
    Kind does not contain video
    Live updating
Oh and I forgot the Match all is checked.
I have changed my playlist from Apple's default playlist of:
    Match all
Last Played is in the last 2 weeks
    Media Kind is not Podcast
I have found that Media Kind balloon breaks live updating on iPod Classics but the Kind or Genre balloon does not. In the past I could go two to three weeks without syncing as I have over 100 Gigs of music and sometimes could go into recently played to find a song quicker because it would be at the top. Now that isn't the case.  Most of my smart playlist start with Last Played is not with a certain range so I can listen to new songs and I rate songs as I play them so I can get rid of 1 & 2 star songs off my library at a later date. However when I sync my device the songs reappear  on certain smart playlist with no play counts but updated ratings. Like Mix Rap or 4&5 star unplayed.
    For example, Mix: Rap
    Match all is checked
Last Played is not in the last 14 days
Last Skipped is not in the last 7 days
    Rating is not 1 star
    Rating is not 2 star
    any
    Genre contains Hip-Hop
    Genre contains Rap
    Limit to 25 items Random
    Live updating
I am going by the recently played list because I wiped the entire library as of April 3, 2012 so everything I play is still within the two week window. I have a few other playlist that are not updating after syncing. Meaning they are updating on the device and revert after syncing with iTunes.
After writing my post last night I did a clean install of 10.6.1.7. By clean install I mean I deleted all information from my Users\AppData folder related to Apple Computer in Local, Roaming, and LocalLow. I also deleted my .itl, itdb, and sentinel files and imported my Library xml file. I also performed a super fix on my iPod classic as well.  I played a few songs last night and they seem to be running fine. But that's how it always starts out.
Any feedback would be helpful....Thanks for the response turingtest2 by the way

  • Windows 2008 R2 Server not showing update history and not detecting new updates

    Hi Sirs,
We have a Windows 2008 R2 server which is showing an empty windows update history, and is not detecting new updates from the WSUS server. It says that the windows is up to date, no error when trying to detect new updates, but I doubt it because when I checked
the installed updates menu, it shows that that the most recent update date installed was last 2013, it just stop detecting and installing updates. I've already tried the ff workarounds but to no avail:
    1. restart wuauserv and bits service
    2. rename/delete the software distribution folder
    3. reinstalled the update agent/restarted the server
    4. deleted the susclientid on the registry
Thanks in advanced for your help.
    here's the windowsupdate.log:

No Service Pack 1 installed. Does this mean that no updates will be detected if SP1 is not installed? thanks
    That's exactly what that means!
Updates have not been available for Windows Server 2008 R2 *RTM* systems since April, 2013.

  • Camera Raw not seeing changes made by DPP

I am not sure whether this is a procedure problem or capability.
When I edit a (canon 50D) CR2 file in Canon DPP ver 3.6.1.0 and save it as a CR2 file, then open the same CR2 file in camera raw ver 5.5 it does not see any changes made by DPP  it opens up the file as an original.  All changes made by DPP are gone.
So my question is, is there a way for camera raw to see and use the changes made by DPP.

    Thanks Gabor
You have confirmed my suspicion,  I am aware that any changes made by DPP or most other software to raw files is only recording changes and not actually applying the changes until it is converted and saved to another format.  Was hoping that ACR would be able to read the changes.
The reason I wanted this is I find that DPP does a better job removing noise from high ISO images then ACR, but I prefer the rest of the editing features of ACR, so what I hoped to do was to use DPP to remove noise and finish editing in ACR.
Was just a though, thanks for the help.

  • Not seeing changes in database

Hi - I have a Berkeley DB database that is being written by one process. In another process, I am opening up the database read only. I only open up the database once, and then use the handle until the process restarts. When the first process makes changes, I'm not seeing them in the second process until I restart. Is this to be expected?

    Hi,
Are the processes using the same environment directory path?
On what architecture/OS are you running?
What product are you using, CDS or TDS?
How do you create and open the environments? Can you also post the flags you use when opening the environment?
    Thanks,
    Bogdan Coman

The window of iTunes updater popped up and I accedently only downloaded the iTunes and not iCloud thing and Quicktime player. Any ideas how I can download them now?

Go "Start > All programs > Apple Software Update". When Apple Software Update launches, does it offer you the QuickTime and iCloud updates?

  • Setup to replicate update/insert and not delete

Currently what I am looking to do is setup streams to do a one way replication of only updates and inserts but not include deteles. I've only done the most basic searches through the Oracle documentation, but as I read the 10.2G pdfs so far it seems like you can only turn on streams for all DML transactions and not selectively.
Is there an option like include_deletes, which I could set to false that I am missing?

    Hi user489811.
You can configure the Streams capture process at the table level for DML capture and you can to exclude a specific DML operation from the capture process. For example, you do not want to capture the DELETE operation.
Yes, is possible. Exists two ways to do this.
For example, read a bit about rules and the package DBMS_RULE_ADM to implement that you want.
    Best regards
    Roberto

  • Problems with gmail imap and not seeing new messages in inbox

I have done countless searches and have not been able to find anything that works. I am gathering that mail on the iPhone 4 and the ipad is not illy compatible. Here is what I am having trouble with:
I recently switched my gmail from pop to imap. The reason behind this is that I could not have mail running on my MacBook and still see my messages on my iPhone 4 or ipad at the same time. What would happen is that any new messages would download onto my MacBook and I could not see them in mail in the inbox on my iPhone and ipad. So, I switched to imap so that I could leave mail running on all my devices and be able to see the same messages no matter what I was viewing them with. Here is the next problem. Now for some reason, only some messages go to the inbox, all of the rest go to the"all mail" folder. Is there a way to fix this so that I can view all of my messages in the "all inboxes" in mail?
Maybe I am misunderstanding how this is supposed to work but any help is appreciated. I have checked the filter settings in gmail (which I had none) and the labels and still nothing works. I have also verified from the gmail help my mail and gmail settings.
Hopefully this makes sense. Thanks for the help!

    No ideas?

  • Belle update available and not available?

when will for c6_01 product bode:059c3b0 i am in bahrain update shown in mobile but not in Nokia suite 3.3

If you're not getting the update via Nokia suite or OTA, then probably it has not been released either by Nokia or by your mobile operator. V25.007 has a few minor bug fixes and stability improvements only. So for that reason, your mobile operator may not be ready to spend money and resources to test and release this update. And for your other question, yes, you can update to symbian belle without this update. As a matter of fact, you can update to symbian belle from any version of firmware in your mobile, meaning launch software, PR 1.1, 1.2 or Anna. Check your internet connection or your firewall... It may be blocking Nokia suite. Or else try again after sometime, may be Nokia's server may have been busy. Hope I've answered your questions...
