  • How to change WBS Element in FI Entry for Asset

    Hi all,
    I have a scenario where an asset has been capitalized with  WBS element 1. After several months we realized that it has to go to WBS element 2.
    We update the Asset Master Data with a new WBS Element 2.
    Depreciation from this date onwards is posted to WBS Element 2 (this is expected), but in FI the asset acquisition cost is still in WBS element 1.
    Does anyone know how to rectify the FI document with correct WBS element i.e  WBS Element 2
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated
    Regards
    Pramod Saraswat

    Hi Pramod,
    In posted document you cant change the WBS element.
    In order to post on WBS 2 , you have to reverse the acquisation entry posted on WBS1. Then update correct one in  asset master then post acquisation.

  • Purpose of field finncpriod when updating journal entries by DI API

    Hello,
    I have to update the project code within the journal entries on line basis. For this reason I use following code (DI API):
    public static void UpdateOjdtJdt1()
    SAPbobsCOM.JournalEntries oJE;
    SAPbobsCOM.Recordset oRS;
    string s;
    int i,j;
    oJE = ((SAPbobsCOM.JournalEntries)(oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oJournalEntries)));
    oRS = ((SAPbobsCOM.Recordset)(oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.BoRecordset)));
    string sqlStatement = "select transid from ojdt";
    oRS = ((SAPbobsCOM.Recordset)(oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.BoRecordset)));
    oRS.DoQuery(sqlStatement);
    while (!oRS.EoF)
    s = oRS.Fields.Item(0).Value.ToString();
    i = Convert.ToInt32(oRS.Fields.Item(0).Value);
    if (oJE.GetByKey(i))
    j = oJE.Lines.Count;
    for (int k=0; k < j; k++)
    oJE.Lines.SetCurrentLine(k);
    oJE.Lines.ProjectCode = "PRJNEW";
    oJE.Update();
    oRS.MoveNext();
    Executing this code, the financial period of the updated journal entry within table JDT1 may change but never in OJDT!
    This looked very strange to me, so I updated the project code simply by using the SBO application. In this case there is no change for the financial period at all (not in OJDT, not in JDT1).
    My questions:
    1) Why does DI API update the financial period within JDT1. In the above mentioned context this does not make sense for me at all.
    2) Why do the SBO application and DI API lead to other results?
    3) Is my way of updating the project code within journal entry lines conform to SAP standards?
    Thank you for your soon response.
    Martin

    Hello Martin
    You have found a BUG.
    To Do:
    . You may check in notes, that somebody has been reported in already and it has been fixed or not.
    - If it is not fixed, please report it to GSC as a message.
    I think the correct would be the SAP B1 standard ...
    Regards

    Dear fellows,
    can you help me clear this situation?

    Hi RichD Miller,
    Based on my understanding, you got the error shown in your post when you tried to update the schema for Active Directory. Right?
    According to the error message, there maybe a syntax error in the input file. Please help to collect the following information for future troubleshooting:
    How did you update the schema?
    Did you update the schema in GC? If not, please try in GC.
    For your information, please refer to the following article to get more help:

  • Apple Software Update error- "Entry Point not found"

    I have had Apple Software Update/ iTunes on my PC for over 4 years. Today, randomly, when I went to update iTunes to the new 10.5 version, Software Update did not prompt me to update. That was odd, but I didn't realize anything was amiss yet at this point.
    In iTunes, I went Help > Check for Updates which indicated the new version was downloaded. When promted whether I'd like to update, I hit yes, which even more oddly took me to apple.com to download iTunes all over again. (Normally, updates download from within iTunes and it's an update, not a full hour-long re-download.)
    I didn't want to redownload iTunes (what would happen to all of my previously downloaded apps and music, set playlists?) so I opened Software Update, and got the following error message:
    SoftwareUpdate.exe - Entry Point Not Found
    The procedure entry point ?CreateProductsFromXML@CSUCatalogObject@@QAEXP6AIPAXIIJ@ZOIV?@CStringT@WV?$StrT raitMFC@WV?ChTraitsCRT@W@ATL@@@@@ATL@@@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library SoftwareUpdateFiles.dll
    Strange, right?
    So my questions.
    1.) Does anyone know why Apple Software Update would suddenly get errors? I've used it recently (this past weekend?) and everything was fine.
    2.) Is there a way to fix Software Update, since I'll surely need it in the future.
    3.) In the meantime, should I proceed with re-downloading the full version of iTunes again, and will it mess up anything I currently have in my iTunes library? Would I need to back it up or do anything to help ensure there are no further problems?
    Thanks for your help. To say I'm confused is an understatement!

    Well... after I posted this, some info from other posts came up and I found the answer!
    In case anyone has the same issue that runs across this... this worked for me perfectly.

  • MacBook Pro & Snow Leopard Update: No-Entry Symbol

    Hi Everyone,
    I’ve run into some trouble as of last week involving my MacBook Pro. I feel as though this trouble may be a ressult of the 10.6.2 update, and was hoping you all could give me some advice on resolving it.
    Shortly after updating to 10.6.2, I’ve been prompted with the “No Entry” symbol at startup. In other words, the Apple symbol comes up at startup, attempts to load then goes to the “No Entry” symbol.
    The strange thing is, I am able to start up the computer in “Safe Mode” by holding down the shift key. This enable me to perform some of the trouble shooting steps below.
    Here are some trouble shooting steps I’ve taken already:
    - Start up in Single User Mode: I was unable to start up in this mode as the single user mode refuses to start up
    - Rebuild the desktop: No effect
    - Reblessed the hard drive: No effect
    - Clear cache’s: I used the app called “Snow Leopard Cache Clear” with no effect
    - PRAM/NVRAM: I reset these with no effect
    - Disk Utility: Repair permissions and repair disk – no effect
    - Startup/Login Items: Cleared all items, no effect
    The strange thing is, I’ve experience this problem when I first did the update, then it went away, and now it’s back.
    I don’t believe it can be a hardware problem because the computer starts-up fine.
    I do feel as though it may be linked to my Airport Express or Extreme somehow though, as I am unable to access my Airport Express & Extreme with my iPhone after this issue began.
    Any tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Travis

    The strange thing is, I am able to start up the computer in “Safe Mode” by holding down the shift key.
    That indicates that whatever is wrong with your system involves something that is disabled by Safe Mode. Here's a list of exactly what Safe Mode does:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1564?viewlocale=en_US
    - Rebuild the desktop: No effect
    How exactly did you do that? This is a troubleshooting step that applies only to Mac OS 9 and earlier, and is not relevant to Mac OS X.
    - Reblessed the hard drive: No effect
    This, again, is more relevant to Mac OS 9 and earlier. Although possible on a Mac OS X system, I've never heard of reblessing as a troubleshooting tip in Mac OS X.
    - Clear cache’s: I used the app called “Snow Leopard Cache Clear” with no effect
    Safe boot clears any relevant caches for you. Cache clearing beyond that is not generally necessary, despite what the makers of the various cache cleaners would have you believe.
    The other things you did were good, but you didn't mention whether Disk Utility found any problems when you repaired the disk. If problems were found and repaired, that doesn't mean that any file corruption that happened as a result of those problems has gone away.
    If I had to guess, I'd say that probably one or more of the optional system kext files is damaged, which would explain why Safe Mode works. That's purely a guess, though, and could easily be wrong. Unfortunately, I think that the fastest solution is to erase your hard drive and reinstall the system and all applications from scratch. There may be other troubleshooting steps that might help, but it could take days of testing and back-and-forth here to find the right ones.

  • WBS not updated during MIRO to asset

    Dear Gurus
    Our task is to post invoice directly to asset using ME21N->MIRO (without delivery) approach and get statistical WBS element commitments and actual values updated.
    Commitments (ME21N with AAC "A") are working fine (using statistical cost element 90cat.)
    During invoice posting (MIRO) no error generated; asset is capitalized with actual value; WBS element commitments reduced; BUT WBS element actual values not updated.
    Configration:
    1. Account assignment objects PS_PSP_PNR and PS_PSP_PNR2 activated
    2. Acc.assign. objects specified in used depreciation area as "01 APC values posting" Acc.assign. type
    Where could be the problem?

    I agree, but in our case receipt (MIGO) is organizationally useless. And I don't want to belive this is the source of the problem. But I could be mistaken.
    By the way I tried simulate process with MIGO - same issue.

  • Recepient type not updating in entries posted through F-54

    We have a scenario as follows
    1. First we have made advance payment to vendor through F-48 with TDS posting.
    2. We received 4 bills against these advance payment and we booked these bills with TDS posting.
    3. We have used F-54 T-Code to nullify the TDS effect in FB60 and to process open item of FB60 against the advance payment through F-48.
    Now it working fine while open item clearance ( there is 1Re.diff which we are rounding up).
    But while making TDS payment through J1INCHLN two of the entries posted through F-54 ( KA Documents ) are not getting picked up as a result there is differenc between total TDS payable & what is shown in J1INCHLN open items.
    On checking in WITH_ITEM table it is found that Receipent type is not updating for these particular entries.
    Additional observation : we have three tds codes for basic, surcharge & E cess and three seperate line items are generated for each while posting TDS. It is observed that for these particular invoices as the amount is in hundreds the E cess amt is less than Re.1 so the only two line items are created i.e. Basic & Surchage.
    Please guide us for solving this.
    Thanks & Regars,
    Chandrakant

    Hi,
    You have to check two tables :
    T059C for Receipient types for country IN whether all the WH Types are maintained for CO and OT.
    V_T001RWT - WHT Rounding Rules - normally it will be 100 for INR (min Re.1) you may have to change it.

  • Updating multiple entries in NAST table

    Hello ALL,
    I would like to get your suggestions regarding one tricky requirement.
    As we know we can have multiple sales orders per one customer purchase order and normally we send order response Idoc per one sales order, due to some circumstances we decided to send one Idoc for all sales order generated for one customer PO. We have done config settings not to generate order response immediately after creating sales order. I copied standard FM IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDRSP to Z_FM to include all sales order related data as per our requirement. I'm able to generate IDoc as per customer requirements but how can I insert NAST entries for all sales order which was included in my previous IDoc? is there a way to do it? Because system should not pick up as it is already sent to customer as IDoc.
    I really appreciate your help in this regard.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Prasad

    Hi Prasad,
    U can update <b>NAST</b> table using the FM <b>RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE_SINGLE</b>

  • Since 4.2 update calender entries made on phone don't update Outlook during

    Any calender entries I make on my iPhone do not get updated into Outlook on my PC during sync.
    Entries made in Outlook are updated OK in my iPhone and if I then edit the entry in iPhone it sync's properly in Outlook & vice versa.
    There are no other sync issues.

    I have an older iMac running 10.5.8 that I use to hold my media. I am running the latest upgrades of the OS for iTunes and Airport. I am trying to use the "Home Sharing" (HS) function of ATV without success. I have turned on the HS functions in the ATV software as well as in the preferences (where I have selected the files to be shared, all of them) and pull down menu of the iTunes software.
    The internet is accessed through a cable modem using an ethernet cable to Airport and another cable to the iMac. ATV is via wireless to the Airport. Signal strength to the ATV is 4/5 bars and deemed adequate when I run the network checking software on ATV.
    Thinking that it using the gen 1 iPad might help, I have tried to use that instrument to kick start HS. After going through the process of setting up HS, I am asked if I want to access a library. When I select that option I am told to open iTunes, select and select the iPad, but nothing happens after that. No joy.
    I have turned off and on the router (Airport) and iTV. (I have not turned off and then on the cable modem) I have restarted the base computer and logged off of and on to iTunes. Turned of and reinitiated HS using "remote" on the iPad. I have checked the IP address, which starts out 172.xx.xx.x and seems to be correct. ... still no joy.
    The ATV will access the internet and play trailers, podcasts as well as internet "radio". It is just not recognizing the poor lonesome iMAC.
    Sadly, this is the first time I have had trouble with an Apple product that I could not resolve.

    I have not had time to call Apple support.
    I hope someone out there has some more suggestions.
    Thanks in advance.

  • ICal not updating edited entries

    Hello:
    Not sure if this is an iCal issue or a MobileMe/sync issue, but the issue is affecting iCal directly. If from my iMac, I make a new entry in iCal all my devices (i.e. MobileMe, iPhone, and iPad) are updated properly. But if I edit an entry, such as changing date, time, etc..., the change is not updated in MobileMe or my devices. I have waited unsuccessfully as long as an hour to see if the update will take place automatically.
    The only way I can update it is to do a manual sync. This is a recent development. For many years, it has worked just fine.
    From System Preferences I have reset the data, but it did not have any effect.
    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Greetings,
    First make an iCal backup, File > Export > Archive.
    Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
    Home > Library > Caches
    Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache)
    Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)
    __NOTE: Removing these files will remove any shared (CalDAV) calendars you may have access to. You will have to re-add those calendars to iCal > Preferences > Accounts.
    Once the computer is back up and running open iCal and test.
    If the issue persists reset your sync data again from the computer to MobileMe.
    If the issue persists reset your sync history and then try again: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iSync/3.1/en/9247.html
    Hope that helps.
