Updation of sales value and credit exposure

Hello,
In one of my scenario, for one customer my sales value and credit exposure is updated as Rs-100. But nothing has been done against this customer. I checked all FI transactions against this customer and found that some advance has been taken and updated in special GL but this amount is less than amount mentioned abouve. Can any body throw some light on this from where this value is updated. When I check sales and distribution documents system tells me it is sales order credit but nothing in system.

Check any open orders/deliveries/invoice..VA05/VL10I/VKM3
will help you.. else you need to run utility program RVKRED77 to find any open documents..

    Ok.. now in OMO1 there is a column ' Updating' under which there are Radio Buttons.. now, check against SO66 if you have selected the Radio Button '1' or not.. I doubt you have selected radio button 'K' over there against SO66.
    SO67 is an info structure wherein open deliveries and open billing documents are updated..

  • Sales Values in Credit Management

    Hi, can anyone advise this following?
    I made some changes in the way how credit price is updated to sales value from SD to credit managment.  However, there are already some values existing in the credit management due to previous transactional data created from SD.  Is there any way we can re-synchronise the sales values in credit management based on the new update logic/parameters?

    Hi PP,
    Run the Report VKRED09, through T Code SE38, then the system will automatically Reorganize the Credit Data according to the New changes.

    Credit master is related to Customer.
    Credit limit will be assigned to a customer by using the T.Code FD32.
    Credit control area will be assigned to a customer.
    You can the credit control area for a customer in the table "KNVV".
    Goto the T.Code "FD32".Enter your customer number and credit control area.Select the status tab.
    Here you can maintain the credit limit.If you leave blank means the limit is 0.00.
    Next thing is goto the T.Code "OVAK".
    Select your sales order.Maintain the "Credit limit check" for your order type.
    Goto the T.Code "OVA8".Select your valid combination.Here,you can activate either the static or dynamic credit limit checks.
    If you create the sales order by using the customer,initially the system will check for the credit limit.If it is 0.00 and credit check functionality is activatd in the above specified T.Codes,then creditcheck will happen and order will be blocked for releasing of credit by using the T.Code "VKM3".Authorised persons have to release this credit block.Suppose,you have maintained this credit limit as "1000Rs/-" and you are creating the order of value "550Rs/-",then your order will not be blocked even though the credit check functionality is activated for your order type.
    In this way,sales order is in turn related to credit master.

    Item cost is only linking to purchase or production. There is no link between sales and item cost.

    Hi Mave!
    Normally there is no condition change, when something is sold.
    But sales price depends on sales conditions (not only price, but also surcharges, discounts, taxes - if customized).
    Nevertheless, after selling you have a invoice document, where correct values <i>should</i> be stored (see VBRP fields mentioned above). If here is a problem, then customizing of price determination is in question, not a programming of user-exits with MARD selection for costs (or some other tries to get a price).
    When you specify your requirements more in detail, you might get better answers - but currently only general hints are possible ('see in invioce / G/L accounts').

  • Open order value and credit limit used are -ve

    Hi,
    We are running into the problem  where there is a negative open order value and orders are bypassing credit hold.
    The values are incorrect in the open order value and in the credit limit used.  These both show as negative values, which  is bad. 
    We have made settings in OVA8 correctly. Is there any other setting should be made in order to block the open order value and credit limit used ????

    Please take the help of the SD consultant in this regard. Because open orders means there are many like invoiced and not yet delivered. And the credit limit is also part of the SD to check. 
    Please check in the T.code FD32 to find out the credit limit detials of the customer.

  • Question about Sales Return and Credit memo

    Good Day All B1 experts,
    I am a SAP B1 newbie and am taking charge in implementing B1 at my office.  I am doing a test today on sales return and credit memo.  After I posted both documents, I went to view transaction journals and inventory posting status report to check my work.  I saw the journal  Debit - Sales Return / Credit - customer A/R account, and items are returned to the inventory.  However, I do not see any adjustment journals for debiting Inventory and crediting COGS.  Is there something else I have missed in regards to G/L account setup?

    If you process a Item type Credit Memo (NOT SERVICE) directly without copying it from Sales Returns, there will be 4 entries in the posted JE.
    Credit  Customer
    Debit   Sales Revenue (or returns depends on what you have mapped)
    Credit  COGS
    Debit   Inventory
    If you do a Return the JE would look like
    Credit  COGS
    Debit   Inventory
    Please check if you have selected a NON-dropship warehouse.

    Can anyone suggest me , which user exit i can used for below scenario.
    Create a new user exit attached to pricing procedure ZXTNIC in order to exclude the conditions YTN1 & YTN2 from the calculation of the net sales value and include the value of the conditions YTN1 & YTN2 to the calculation of the Tax vale.
    From pricing procedure ZXTNIC need the net value to be till line 500 only and exclude the value of the conditions YTN1 & YTN2
    BACKGROUND
    Inter-company invoice is not calculated correctly in terms on the net sales value. The calculation of the net sales value is correct as some conditions are included in the calculations which must be excluded.
    The reason for creating the user exist is that any change in the pricing conditions class can not be used to exclude them from the net price, without totally changing the concept behind the conditions (new conditions, new access sequence in taxes, IC changes and so on).
    FUNCTIONAL DETAILS
    The user exit will run on the values of the line item and the header of the pricing conditions
    The user exit will subtract the current net value from the value of the conditions YTN1 & YTN2, also the Tax value will be added to the value of the conditions YTN1 & YTN2.
    Need the Net value = 8,032 and not 8,882
    This value will be calculated as follows = Current Net u2013 YTN1 u2013 YTN2 = 8,882 u2013 0,773 u2013 0,077 = 8,032
    Need the Tax value = 2,395 and not 1,545
    This value will be calculated as follows = Current Tax + YTN1 + YTN2 =     1,545 + 0,773 + 0, 077 = 2,395

    This Depends upon your Client Requirement.
    If you are using the Credit Management to your client. then you maintain certain checks like Simple Credit, Automatic Credit at Sales Order Level.
    If the Client want a seperate Document type for Credit Sales and Normal Sales if having Purpose.
    Other wise you can use only one Document type for both,because in Standard Sap, For Cash Sale have seperate Document type.

    Check the configuration Credition Control Area, you will find update group. Each Update group has different meaning and updates the document accordingly
         No update from SD documents
    000012     Open order value on time axis, delivery and bill.doct value
    000015     Open delivery and billing document value
    000018     Open delivery value for sales order, open billing doct value
    blank means No Update from SD Documents and
    and 000015 open sales orders are excluded, but as delivery are commitments and which should have been billed it takes into account delivery.
    I think 000015 will suit your requirement

    For the credit Exposure, i have removed the ticked for Open Sales Orders.
    But when i created sales Order, that open order value get added to the exposure. I want to have only the Open Delivery values and other pending Invoices.
    Is there any option for me to avoid the open sales Order value get updated in the Credit Exposure.

    Hi,
    Remove Sales document type from 'Assign Sales Documents and Delivery Documents' node and assign only delivery credit group.
    Check configuration in OVA8 for both the credit groups.
    In FD32 if sales value is already added as open items and exposure is updated, try using a new customer to test your requirement or reset the customer.

    in the SIS transaction MCTA
    when i create the sales order the values in the fields
    incoming sales ,sales,credit memo,open orders ,open orders etc
    are getting updated correctly
    but after creating the delivery,pgi and billing these values are not getting updated .like the reduce in the open order,open oerder qty they same as earlier afer creating sales order.
    if i cancel the order then the values are again updated accordingly
    can you please suggest me a solution for this problem,why this is happening of not geting updated after doing delivery and pgi

    Your query revolve's around LIS reporting. For any reporting, SAP recommended solution is SAP BI
    FYI SAP is not going to continue Support for LIS Based reporting.Developement on LIS based reporting is already stopped.
    Companies still use this tool to manage their reporting.
    Not all the key figures are updated by default. In your case you will have to carry out the enhancement.

    Hi experts,
    Pls anybody clarify my doubt in Credit management.
    I activated the credit control areas update as 000015(Open delivery and billing document value).And activated dynamic credit management "Automatic credit control".Now i explain with some example how it working. Fixed credit limit for customer A Rs.30,000/-, Receivables amount 22,000/-. Now if create a sales order for value >8000 i m not getting the credit lock waring messages.
    (I.e) i am creating one sales Order for value Rs.9,000/-.(So credit limit crossed and not getting error msg or waring messages)
    After that creating another sales order for same customer i am getting Warning msg like"Credit limit crossed_____amount".
    So finally, CCR Rs.30,000/, Recei Rs.22,000/- but i can able to make even Sales Order value for Rs One lakh. I want here to block sales order should not be create.

    When a sales order is created , only the confirmed quantity is taken for pending sales value even if sale order qty is more
    Check OVA8 setting , open deliveries and open orders should be selected
    You can set reaction status as warning or error.
    Pricing procedure - Subtotal should be A . This will update structure s066
    The above condition will work only for order creation . For sales order ammendment you have do the same setting for credit group  02.
    If Dynamic credit check works with credit Horizon date . It is better to have static credit check.
    Check MC30 after creating sales order whether structure s066 updated for the order.

    There is a requirement form the company that Blocked Sales Order should also be added to credit exposure. Are you aware of any companies using such process? Is it possible from technical point of view? Is it require whole SD redesign? Thanks for your comments and answers.

    Thanks for your reply, thats what I am aware but the case here is that we have:
    Credit Lim: 10.000E,
    Sales Value, Special Liab and Open Rec = 9000E
    Then we issue Order 1 for 2000E it gets blocked
    after that we issue Order 2 for 900E  it is within Cr. Lim so it is released
    What we want is that if we issue Order 1 for 2000E it gets blocked and the credit expsure will be 11.000 )Blocked order will increase Credit Exposure value so Order 2 will be Blocked and total Credit Exposure will be 11.900
