Upgrade 10.7, 7.3.4,NCS Unix to 11.5.8, 9i,sun (different OS and server)

Hi, we want to upgrade 10.7 in 7.3.4 in Unix NCR to
11.5.8, in 9i in sun sparcj ( different OS, and different
Server).
is this step is correct ? :
1. install new apps 11.5.8 and 9i in new server (sun).
2. export db to new server.
3. apply patch.
any suggestion? or any recommendation like white paper?
We need as short as time consumed.
and the data is not big.

How about your customized applications.
With Apps 11.5.8 Oracle Database(8.1.7.4) is coming,
Has to be migrated to Oracle 9i Enterprise to do that interopabilty patch has to be applied for Oracle 9i Enterprise.
There is document has to be red out to accomplish the upgrade.

You might have a 3rd party plugin that isn't compatible with Safari 4.0.4. Go here for help...

If you are using a USB hub, try disconnecting and restarting with just your keyboard and mouse connected.
From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Empty Cache. When you are done with that...
from the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Reset Safari. Select the top 5 buttons and click Reset.

It contains fixes that might help. Then repair disk permissions.
Quit any open applications/programs. Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.

Hey, There are afew things you can try.
- Simply turn your phone off and back on again
- Hold down your home button and your lock button and let goes as soon as the screen goes black (Phone will power down) - Then turn on your phone and hey presto!
- Back up your iPhone to your PC, then restore it..
this ones last cause I think you may have tried it already..
- Close all open applications

Been using an ipad 2 without passcode for quite some time. While upgrading to ios 7, I enabled Find Iphone on the Ipad. It asked for passcode and I gave one. Now I forgot it.

Connected it iTunes (on my windows 8 system) with which I sync and that too required an update as old version of itunes cannot read ios7. Problem is itunes does not want to get updated. Some vague error on not having right to write a file in ProgramData folder wheras as an admin i have full rights. Next I downloaded the install file from itunes site - no luck it would not install. Then I tried to remove itunes - it does not want to go. Am at wits end... Is the option only to restore it as a new Ipad?

You don't need to have Lightroom 3 and 4 installed on your computer to install Lightroom 5. Just install Lightroom 5 and input your serial number for 3 in the previous version box and your serial number for 5 in the upgrade box.

Upgrade JVM in sun java system application server

Recently I've been trying to deploy some new applycation in my sun java system application server 9 running on solaris 8. When I attemp to do it the server throw me a exception because the server jvm is older than my pc jvm. Then I follow the steps I find in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E19501-01/819-3653/819-3653.pdf to upgrade the jvm in the server, however the exception persists. It seems like I have not do anything. Can anyone help tell me how to upgrade the jvm ?

You need to delete all the files under the 'generated' directory to force the server to recompile them after the JDK upgrade. Also check in domain.xml and make sure the JVM parameter is pointing to the JDK that you have installed. It is also worthwhile to check asenv.conf to see which JDK that file is pointing to as well.

I am a little confused because I have Windows Server 2008 64 bit operating system and had installed Oracle 11g 11.1.0.6.0 (x64) prior to the Oracle 11g 11.1.0.7.0 for Windows Server 2008 install package becoming available.
My database needs no backup of data as it is a fresh installation so its removal is not a problem.
To now upgrade to Oracle 11g 11.1.0.7.0 for Windows Server 2008 do I need to
a) Uninstall Oracle 11.1.0.6.0 (x64) and then install Oracle 11.1.0.7.0 on Windows Server 2008
or
b) Apply patch 6890831 (will this upgrade from 11.1.0.6.0 x64 to 11.1.0.7.0 for Windows Server 2008?)
Any help much appreciated as having looked at documentation I am still confused what I need to do.
