Upgrade 12.1.1 to 12.1.3 Problem
Hi
I have done many times upgrade from EBS 12.1.1 to EBS 12.1.3 in Oracle Linux 64b
but it's my first time in HPUX Itanium 64b.
please give me an answer for my qustions:
*1) i'm now in EBS 12.1.1 and database 11.1.0.7*
according to document 761570.1 I should do path E or Path C ??? (before I did path E, but i'm not sure it's correct path)
I applied patch 6460304 and next was 7111245, but 7111245 exit with this error:
Applied Session failed: Patch ID is null
OPATCH failed with error code 73
after searched this I found out my OPatch version was old (OPatch version 11.1.0.6)
and I replace it with OPatch version : 11.1.0.9.10 (Latest Version)
but now when I want to apply 7111245 it says that there is patch 14739378 as prerequest.
I would to download this patch but I can't like other !!!
*2) why before this time I didn't need to upgrade my OPatch version and i could apply 7111245 without any problem?*

I'm still not sure, but i am agree with EBSDBA that I do like before, so I do Path E again.

I checked patch 7111245 in linux x86-64, there isn't any pre request patch for that, but in readme of patch HPUX itanium 7111245 in pre request list there is one patch (14739378) as pre request, so it's in HPUX itanium only.

ofcourse it seems that patch 14739378 is an important patch, so it's wrong to skip this patch, if we skip this or any patch we may encounter new errors.

the problem I have since I upgraded to Mavericks version 10.9.1
The problem appears only with Mail not with other programs, not even with my browser.
When I try to zoom the text of an e-mail I received or sent , I can no longer use the keys Command + to enlarge the text, although I can reduce it with Command -.
As I have a problem with my eyes, This is a serious matter for me.
When I write an e-mail, if I select text and press Command +, it just displaces the text to the right.
Now, my husband has a USB keyboard. If he connects it to my computer, his regular Command + does not work either, but he uses the extended keyboard, then it works. Unfortunately, he needs it for a musical application which does not work with a wireless keyboard.Firefox 3.6.4 and 3.6.6 use a process called, "plugin-container.exe" which was using up most of my CPU when I opened up multiple tabs that contained Adobe Flash files, and caused Firefox to lock up.
My solution was to use Firefox 3.5.10 which you can get from the Mozilla website at [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html]
I am using Adobe Flash 10.1.53.64 without any problem in this version of Firefox. Check the release notes, I believe it contains all the latest security fixes in "Firefox 3.6.4".
Hopefully, they will fix Firefox 3.6 in the next version (e.g. Firefox 3.6.7), until then you should probably use "Firefox 3.5.10". -

Yes, i do not suggest upgrading right now. There is some software malfunction or glitch that spontaneously shuts down this specific model. I upgraded and it was a pain to downgrade and make my mac usable again.

Try going into your settings and 'reset all settings'
You will need to retweak your device but it's been said to help with sound issues. -
I curently have Snow Leopard MAC OS X 10.6.8 & want to upgrade to Mountain Lion - would I encounter any problems? If so -- what?

Upgrading to iPhoto 6 from iPhoto 4, any problem?
I have iPhoto 4, and I want to upgrade to iPhoto 6. Is there any problem with skipping from 4 to 6?
I do plan to back everything up before I do any upgrading. Actually after backing up, I may erase some of the photos from my internal hd. I have over 6000 and iPhoto is seeming a little sluggish, hopefully eliminating some photos will help.
Any advice before I do this is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.To have a V5 library you would have had to buy iLIfe 054 and install it so I don't think it is a V5 library.
Go into the iPhoto Library folder and open the Originals folder. There should be subfolders in there representing each roll in the library. Check to see if there are any subfolders, if they contain files and that those files are full sized files.
If they are and it seem your files are there but just not getting seen by iPhoto there are a couple of routes you can take:
1 - run iPhoto Library Manager to rebuild your library. This sill create a new library by copying the files and data it need from your old library to the new one. Here's how:
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your User/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File->Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: It can take some time to create the new library if you have a lot of photos. One user reported that with a library of about 5,000 images it took about 12 hours so plan ahead.
2 - the second option is to copy the Originals folder from the existing library folder to the desktop. Then move that library folder to the trash. Now launch iPhoto and when it tells you it cannot find a library select the new library option. Now drag the Originals folder from the desktop into the open iPhoto library window to import. That should get you a library with the same rolls (but probably different roll dates but those can be edited) but no keywords, albums, etc. -

thank youNo, the GM is not an unannounced public release. GMs are still beta and just for developers. All Gold Master means is the feature set is finalized but it can still have minor changes and bug fixes prior to release.
If it were an actual public release, you could get it from iTunes rather than torrent sites. -
I just upgraded a full version of "ISO Fits" app from App Store 2 days ago but the upgrade wasn't successful. I reported the problem to the developer but had not received any reply. What should I do?
1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now? -

impossible to know without knowing what issues you are having. As the Apple store said we need to know specific issues. And if they are related to your data or not?

If you haven't tried the following, I suggest you give it a shot:
A Reset may cure some bugs. Hold down the Home and sleep/power buttons until the apple logo shows up.If still not resolved:
Reset all Settings. Go to Settings->General->Reset->Reset All SettingsIf its still not resolved:
Restore the device as new.

Im having trouble sending messages from my iPhone 4..ever since i upgraded to iOS 5, its giving me this problem. It says your SMS mailbox is full. Delete some messages to recieve new messages.
I've deleted around 10 huge conversations, rebooted it, restored it, done a soft and hard reset too. What should i do?my boyfriend restored his iphone as a brand new phone and still had this problem, he deleted all his text conversations except mine and his best friend's conversations still nothing, i told him to delete OUR conversation since its a 2 year conversation that he has NEVER deleted ..... he said YES!! we tried to delete it and the phone freezes as soon as we click on the CLEAR CONVERSATION button!!!! we tried about 5 times and this happened everytime we tried!!!! ....is like the phone doesnt wanna let go of our conversation!!! every other conversation he deleted the phone was fine except for when we try and delete ours!!
so yesterday he left his phone alone around 4 pm since we have the apple appointment today at 130pm.......around 11 pm last night his phone went NUTS receiving all the text messages i had sent and never received!!!! and now the phone works just fine!!! ...... CONFUSED?????? yeah we are too!!!

I recently upgraded to Lion, and immediately started having consistent problems with Open Office 12 (would hang, and need a Force quit to recover). Has anybody else seen these problems? Any solutions other than going back to Snow Leopard? (I did). But I'd like to use iCloud with iPad.
Hi Pete. The repair of disk permissions can help resolve any application crashing or misbehaving.
As for Lion and the two camps, I think that is a reasonable observation. In my office we have about a dozen Mac's and about one third of those Mac's had problems after updating from 10.6 to 10.7. The main problem for these Mac's was a loss of wifi stability. But for the other two-thirds, Lion was a smooth transition.
Personally, my Lion experience was fine. But I did get a new i7 MacBook Pro with Lion already installed and only had to migrate my user data from a 10.6.8 TM backup.
So I think that is a key for Lion's operational success. A clean install of Lion on a new Mac would not cause too many operational issues. But an installation, or more correctly, an update to Lion from SL increased the chances of failure for some users - especially when old software & plugins resided on the Mac. And I would say that they were the people that you saw at the Apple store.
As for the "latest release of Lion fixed my problems" statement, my experience with these and other forums is that people mostly only go there to complain about the problems they are having. If they are having no problems then they either keep it to themselves or they try to help the users who are experiencing trouble... -

Computor upgraded to 8.1 and now i have problems
