Upgrade 4.2.0 Build(124) Patch17 to 4.2.1 - ACS folder locked

I try to upgrade ACS 4.2.0 to 4.2.1. When installation program tries to uninstall current version of ACS it fails with message "The CiscoSecure ACS folder appears to be locked by another application"
- ACS is installed on Win 2003R2 server.
-There is no antivirus program installed on the server
-All application windows (Explorer,...) are closed
-I'm the only user working on this server
-ACS log files are reduced to 3 days history.
ACS is integated with RSA SecurID. Could this be the cause? Should I unistall RSA SecurID?

As per my experience, we generally see this error due to huge accumulation of logs  in ACS installation folder / Install directory.
Please remove or relocate all the file from following location of ACS install directory and then try to upgrade again
Once deleted, we can recover these logs again.

\CSMon\Logs
\CSAdmin\Logs
\CSDbsync\Logs
Also, did we have ACS set to full logging in past?

    Kind of.  I never actually solved the bug, but I did make it past the install. 
      Upon running Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 Plug-in Installer it appeared to crash and only load a blank screen with a single unclickable button.  It wasn't actually "hanging", and would react when I clicked on the program menu and moused over "Services".  This would allow my clicks and keystrokes to register with the program, but only after I mouse over the "Services" menu item.  For example, you need to click "okay", then mouse over "Services".  When you want to enter text you need to click in the text box, and mouse over "Services".  Then you need to type the text you want, and mouse over "Services" to see the text appear.  It's a PITA, but you can get through the install by doing this. 
      After installing the FB plug-in starting eclipse with editors open appeared to cause errors.  If this happens, this is because it seems that FB attempts to load when eclipse starts up.  Close all editors and restart eclipse.  The Welcome page for FB may pop open up.  At the bottom there is a check box that will keep that form loading - check it.  If the page does not open when eclipse starts, then open up an MXML file.  The Welcome page should load, and you can check the box. 
    I hope this helps you move forward.  Also, if you find an actual solution please let me know.

  • I cant upgrade to the latest build.

    I just installed Windows 10 preview build last January 5, 2015. I tried to upgrade to the latest build since I already know there is a latest one. But when I tried, I can't download it. I dont have the option of how fast will I get the latestpreview build

    if your having hard time to update preview build, you can use the
    Build 9879 ISO to upgrade to Build 9879.

    Command + Option + Esc will prompt the Force Quit window.
    You can also force quit an app from your Apple menu top left in your screen or by using the Activity Monitor located in Applications/Utilities

  • Flash builder 4.7 upgrade issue from Flash builder 4.5 (key is not valid)

    Hi,
          We (Company) are buying Adobe products more than 6-7 years now. We bought the Flash builder premium 4.5 and Flash builder premium 4.5 for PHP volume licence. Now flash builder 4.7 should be complementary upgrade for us. But when we are using Flash builder 4.7 trial version and adding serial number (Flash builder 4.5 serial number), it's just not working and showing a error "key is not valid".
    I chat with Adobe customer care 4 different people, they end up saying that let us transfer you to volume licence department and then chat ended. No more chat messages, I checked more than one hour and still no message.
    Then I called they, it took 15 mins to connect with customer care. I picked the "upgrade" option from phone menu and then connected with a guy. After listening complete case he forwarded my call to Volume licence executive and the volume licence executive transferred it to some other guy and the other guy redirect it to some specialized person. So total 4 guys. The last guy (specialized) name was Rohit.
    This guy Rohit asked me, did I buy a customer support programme (some product about $2.nn.00 )? I said no, we bought volume licenses for Flash builder premium 4.5 ( about $4000.00 ****). He said, sorry sir I can not help you in this, but I can provide you an e-mail address and you can report your concern there. I already passed my 1.5 hour in this conversation. I said okie. He gave me a case number and told me that he will send a email mentioning that email address as per my request I disconnect the phone.
    I never get that email address.
    Can some one suggest me what to do next. My case number is : 209-788-274.

    I have the same problem, and i have send request complementary upgrade (Adobe® Flash® Builder® 4.7 Complimentary Upgrade), and only received a Acrobat change licensed...
    I´m working with 4.7 Beta the last mounths, and now all the days have to see "please enter your license". So one problem that you can jump with money (if you have that money..), isn´t a problem. Like a i have license from flex 3, upgrade to flex 4, and upgrade to flex 4.5, i´m going to take de upgrade from 4 standard to 4.7 standard (47,97 euros), and not waste my time and money on calls. So yes, I'll see adobe with another eyes...

    After having done what looked like a proper UN-install of Flash Builder 4.5, I am trying to install the FB 4.6 upgrade. I get:
    A conflicting or prerelease version of Adobe Flash Builder exists on this computer. The conflicting version must be removed before installing from the current media.
    I dont know what this is, so spending an hour on the phone finally got me to Ankush Bangroo <[email protected]> who knew how to fix this.
    download the cleaner tool from the following site and run it, remove the "Adobe Flash Builder" item, then reboot.

    Now, you can do a proper install of Flash Builder 4.6 from download.

  • Upgraded project to 17: builds in AIR, not in Flash

    Hello,
    I have a game my team is developing and we recently upgraded to the latest release AIR/Flash 17 SDK. The project 99% identical, except for the entry points. Build and runs perfectly fine in Adobe Air, but in Flash I have a half dozen "Error: Access of possibly undefined property XXX" errors, which are all of my classes. .Seems to be 3 specific ones that Flash 17 doesn't like, but the project compiled perfectly fine in Flash 14. Has anyone run into this?

    The fact they have little red x's on them is suggesting RoboHelp cannot find the images.
    If you examine the source location do you see them? The fix may be as simple as moving them using Windows Explorer.
    Another clue that will help us here is to show us a screen capture of the HTML code for an image and a screen capture of the source folder structure.

  • Upgrade Q9550 system or Build new i7 950 system?

    Hoping someone can help with yet another upgrade or build question!
    I am new to NLEs but am a fan of Adobe CS suites and plan to use CS5 Premiere and AE.  I am a hobbyist rather than a pro but I take my hobbies pretty seriously :-).  I intend to create shorts out of my video footage from DSLRs using either AVCHD or m264.  I would like my NLE system to run smoothly with multiple windows and programs (e.g., PR, PS, etc) open and I am pretty impatient when it comes to waiting for systems to process/load, etc.
    It will not be used for gaming of any kind.  It must run very stably.  I never experience BSODs and I don't want to in future!
    Here are the two options I am considering:
    OPTION ONE:  Upgrade existing machine
    CPU:           Q9950  (existing)
    Mobo:          socket 775 Asus board  (existing)
    Vid card:      upgrade to GTX470 (from Radeon 4850)
    RAM:           add 4MB for total of 8MB max for board (1600, 99924)
    OS:             create new boot disc running Win7 64  (new..currently XP)
    HDD:           128GB SSD boot (new)
    HDD:           Caviar black drives for media, etc.  (existing)
    PSU:           620HX  (existing)
    OPTION TWO:  Build new box
    CPU:            i7 950 (pretty good price now)
    Mobo:          Asus P6X58D Prem
    Vid card:      GTX470
    RAM:           12MB (1600, 99924, Corsair)
    OS               Win7 64
    HDD:           128GB SSD boot
    HDD:           Caviar black drives for media, etc.  (existing)
    PSU:           850HX
    Questions:
    - Overall, is the extra cost of Option Two worth it?  How much improvement would I expect?
    - Is the GTX470 worth it relative to my existing Radeon 4850 board?
    - Is the SSD worth it as a boot drive at $265?
    - Is the larger PSU necessary?
    - Any other thoughts on either configuration?

    p.s.  I don't feel the "need" to build a new system, but am happy to do so if it Option 2 is a significant improvement.

    The best performing Q9550 system ends up will a total time of 711 s and a RPI of 694.2 with 8 GB of RAM and a GTX 470. This means this system is nearly 7 times slower than the top performer, but even in comparison to my own system (195 s and RPI 154.1), which is old and has never been more than mediocre, it is 4.5 times slower.
    These figures are of course not a guarantee that an upgrade of your existing system will be 4.5 times slower than my system, because a lot depends on the degree of tuning. Just notice that my system outperforms a number of 980X systems and systems with 24 GB memory, but it is indicative.
    Regarding memory:
    As you see from the benchmark results, there are quite a number of systems that successfully run with 24 GB. I do not know what brand and model of memory is installed in each of them, but names that come to mind are Corsair Dominator, G.Skill Ripjaws or Trident, Mushkin and OCZ. If you look on the QVL, realize that
    a. ASUS does not make it a habit to update the list regularly,
    b. ASUS does not test all kinds of memory, saying that is up to the memory manufacturer,
    c. Manufacturers that appear on the list multiple times usually have compatible modules in the 4 G variant.
    The benchmark does not give you 'real live' results on how your projects will perform, because we don't know what your projects will look like. There are too many styles of projects, to answer that question. Just consider a 3 minute music clip versus a 60 minute documentary versus a 2 hour wedding video. All requiring different effects, CC, transitions, audio, etc. and you can imagine no one can tell you what a configuration will give you in your situation. In general one can say that a 3 minute music clip is more dependant on CPU/GPU speed than on disk setup, while a 2 hour wedding movie relies more heavily on disk setup.

  • Upgraded Cube does not build

    Sometimes a modified cube will not build after release. It cannot find the esm file -- which is there -- or will not stop, or Essbase thinks it is being used.
    We are using version 7.1.3 on a Windows server, and deployment cannot be carried out through EAS. We deploy through Windows batch commands. Given that we must deploy this way, is there anything we can do for the cube to prevent these failures? We already stop the application before building, and prevent logins.

    The above is a false alarm.
    Basically it turned out that one of the keys in the fact table was not a leaf node in the dimension.
    After rectifying that all works fine now.

    the first thing i check for with one of those is a broken Quicktime. does your Quicktime currently launch, or are you getting an error message when you try to launch it?
    if you are getting an error message when you try to launch Quicktime, let's first try a careful standalone QT 7.0.4 reinstall.
    download and save a copy of the QT 7.0.4 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off all antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.

  • After upgrade to Yosemite, drag and drop for files does not work, destination folder crashes.

    After upgrading to Yosemite, dragging and dropping files from one location to the destination folder, causes the destination folder crash. However, copying the file and then moving it works fine.
    I'm not sure where to report bugs, but I figured this would be the best option
