In our product we are using MaxDB 7.7.06 Build 009-123-202-944. In my test systems with Windows 7 x64 I can install this version without any problems. But some customers of us, who also has Windows 7 x64 or Server 2008 x64, got the same error message during the installation.
STDERR: file C:/Windows/SysWOW64/drivers/etc/services not found and the solution in this thread solves the problem.
But on my systems I could't find this file and the installations was done.
Why the MaxDB installation sometimes need it and sometime not? Where is the different? Maybe I should copy it during our setup before we are calling the MaxDB installation? -
I am unable to register by Adobe flash builder 4.7 with the key i got from complimentary upgrade to Adobe Flash Builder 4.5
Please helpKind of. I never actually solved the bug, but I did make it past the install.
Upon running Adobe Flash Builder 4.7 Plug-in Installer it appeared to crash and only load a blank screen with a single unclickable button. It wasn't actually "hanging", and would react when I clicked on the program menu and moused over "Services". This would allow my clicks and keystrokes to register with the program, but only after I mouse over the "Services" menu item. For example, you need to click "okay", then mouse over "Services". When you want to enter text you need to click in the text box, and mouse over "Services". Then you need to type the text you want, and mouse over "Services" to see the text appear. It's a PITA, but you can get through the install by doing this.
After installing the FB plug-in starting eclipse with editors open appeared to cause errors. If this happens, this is because it seems that FB attempts to load when eclipse starts up. Close all editors and restart eclipse. The Welcome page for FB may pop open up. At the bottom there is a check box that will keep that form loading - check it. If the page does not open when eclipse starts, then open up an MXML file. The Welcome page should load, and you can check the box.

I just installed Windows 10 preview build last January 5, 2015. I tried to upgrade to the latest build since I already know there is a latest one. But when I tried, I can't download it. I dont have the option of how fast will I get the latestpreview build

I am experiencing wireless connection problem on 4s after ios 8.1 upgrade. The wireless icon appears showing that it's connected but webpages do not load. I have checked my internet connection with other devices and seems to be alright. what to do?
I have tried reseting the network settings and forgetting my wireless connection and re-connecting to it. I even backed up my phone on itunes and restored it, factory reseted it. Nothing seems to work.
Also after my upgrade to ios 8.1 my personal hotspot option under cellular data has disappeared.

Yes, the error message is exactly like that ("Database error: failured to persist version")
No photos will import at all. I use USB to import from iPhone 5s or iPad 2.
About the difference? iPhoto and Photos . Are there two softwares?
I also will like to merge and/or synchronize all my photos I had saved to iCloud backups, Macbook Pro, iPhone 5s and iPad hard drives using iPhoto. It's call iPhoto library. At one point I turned off streaming.

Is it not possible to upgrade Final Cut Studio as a whole? Do you have to now buy the software separately?
It is still possible to upgrade some versions of FCP, especially the Studios, As always, the upgrades apply to base versions that needed to be purchased. The latest version of Final Cut Studio is no longer for sale from Apple but it doesn't run on a PowerMac anyway. The only Final Cut Pro product currently for sale is Final Cut Pro X, which requires an Intel Mac.

How can I turn off imessage for just one of my contacts? Me and my husband just upgraded (both had iphone 4), I got the iphone 5s and he got he note 3. All my text to him automatically send as a imessage. Ive tried to delete his contact and then went back in and reentered it but that doesnt work.
Have your husband text the word "stop" to 48369. This should take his number out of the iMessage system.
Go into your settings under messaging and make sure the box to send as an SMS if iMessage is unavailable is checked.
Hopefully this will get your messages sending/receiving to each other. -

I'm happy to say that I solved the problem, and for the community (for the "next generation" that will search a solution for this problem) - I will publish the solution for this problem : I defined as new iphone, and then the restore showed up!

I have Itunes on an external hard disk, now it's not possible to upgrade my Itunes.
I have an external hard disk drive for my Itunes. Until now it's always been possible to upgrade Itunes.
Now I keep getting message E-drive not found. The hard disk is on the F-drive. And I can't find where I need to select the correct drive before installing.
It seems that it's not possible to select the drive where you want to upgrade your Itunes.For "Invalid Drive" errors when uninstalling or reinstalling try b noir's user tip:
"Invalid drive X:\" install errors.

An exclamation mark means that it doesn't know where you moved the music to. To fix this, click on the exclamation point and when it asks you to browse to the location where you moved it to, use the normal commands to go up and down folders in your external drive until you find the song. Repeat as necessary.
