Hi All,
we want to upgrade our B1 std addon from B1 2005A to 2007A SP01 PL12. We used FA addon. How to solve the upgrade issue ?

if you are using fa addon, you need to upgrade the addon without using the addon upgrade if it is only the fa addon..

Console Upgrade addon for Rev52.1 customers

HANA One team is happy to announce new addon "Console Upgrade" for Rev52.1 customers.

I've tried multiple times to install this Console upgrade and it fails with:
Error Message Transport : Volume creation Failed. Skipping next steps
My concern is not so much the Console upgrade but license expiration. My license expires in Aug 14 so I tried the other icon on the Addons tab for a license that expires in Sep 14. This also failed with the above message.
The license process for HANA One is not at all clear to me. Is it that the initial instance is loaded with a temporary
license and you need to install a permanent license thereafter?
My S number doesn't have sufficient authorization to create an installation on Service Marketplace and so
I can't get to where you request a permanent license key.

SRM 7.0 upgrade addon issues

I recently updated my ST-PI addon from 2005_1_640 to 2008_1_640 on my SRM system to match the ST-PI level on our SOLMAN system. Now I'm upgrading our SRM system from SRM 5.0 to SRM 7.0 and I'm stuck at the addon section of the upgrade. During the extraction phase I get a warning that says version 2008_1_640 is too high for the upgrade (>2005_1_710). I am able to continue past since it's just a warning. Once I get to the configuration phase I'm stopped to resolve the addons. my PI_BASIS is resolved by the addon dvd, but my ST-PI, ST-A/PI, and VIRSANH packages won't resolve. I have the install, upgrade, and supplemental files for ST-PI 2008/700 and 2008/710 as well as the needed packages for the other addons unpacked into EPS/in, but when I choose "Upgrade with Saint package" it doesn't see any of the packages.
Has anyone else had this problem and how was it resolved?

This fixed it for me.
Edit bin/IS_RANGE.LST file to include 2008_1_700.
         Ranges of ADD-ONs which are included in the Export
ADD-ON_ID       RELMIN            RELMAX
      PI_BASIS        2002_1_620        2006_1_710
      ST-PI           003C_40B          2008_1_700
FIX
      WP-PI           500_46D           600_620
Reset the upgrade by going back until the first step. Start the upgrade and then run SAPup stop ADDON_CHK to stop the upgrade before the ADDON_CHK to get rid of the error. ONce the check is performed it over writes the file again so at the stop between the extraction and configuration phases make the above change again and it if you have the 2008_1_700 addon in your EPS/in directory the upgrade will continue on and you'll be able to continue on.

I cannot get my thunderbird box to work since upgrade. addons not working for larger files

When I try to use box for larger attachments ,it is not working and just keeps trying to load . I have checked my box account and spoken to there tech and he said it is not on their end ?

I don't have any direct experience with D-Link equipment, but I may be able to provide some general advice. See if you can use a Web browser to connect to the D-Link's configuration screen. This probably involves visiting a URL such as http://www.192.168.0.1 . If you haven't changed the sign-on parameters, a quick Google search should find them for you.
Once there, note as many configuration details as you can find. You'll need those to configure your Time Capsule.
Use the AirPort Utility to configure the Time Capsule.
One last thing: It's quite possible that the Verizon network will have locked onto the "MAC" address of your D-Link router. Something needs to be done to reset this. If there's a separate box at your house that came with the FIOS equipment that's "upstream" from the D-Link router, I'd cycle power on it to see if that does the job. Otherwise you'll probably need to call Verizon to ask them to reset things once your Time Capsule is installed in place of the D-Link router.

SAP_BS_FND addon was not selected as part of the stack xml

We are in a process of upgrading production system (SAP NW 7.0) to EhP1, we
have components SEM-BW,FINBASIS installed in the Netweaver system, we have added the system under Netweaver
We have generated the stack xml file using solution manager MoPZ but we are not
getting the option to select the upgrade addon SAP_BS_FND as part of
stack xml file
where in we had an option to select the SAP_BS_FND for Development
and Quality and we have included the addon SAP_BS_FND in stack xml file
my main question was why the component is not available for Production for selecting the option ??
Please suggest us how to proceed further, we have read the note Note
1326576 - SAP NetWeaver Systems Containing SAP ERP Software Components
which says to install the addon after upgrade
generating the stack file from Service Market Place too is not including the SAP_BS_FND in the stack xml
Please help why it is behaving different for production

You should read the note carefully, below is extract from this note:
Maintain your SEM, E-Recruiting or SAP Learning Management system as an ERP
system in SMSY in order to download the EHP packages and to be able to
maintain the system. Afterwards you must not use the generated Stack XML,
but instead use a generated Stack XML from SAP Service Marketplace and
include the packages for ERECRUIT, SEM-BW, FINBASIS or LSOFE in the
IS_SELECT phase during the installation of EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0.

How to upgrade my add on to support firefox 4 and above ? what changes needs to be done?

I have an add on currently it is supporting only below firefox 4 versions. What changes needs to be done to support firefox 4 and above?
Is there any reference to specify the list of differences? How to upgrade addon to support future version?

XL reporter is not running in Excel

When I try to run XL Reporter, I get a message that says 'Security settings in Microsoft Excel prohibit XL Reporter from running'. I Any ideas?

Hi Subradip......
Any PL version of SAP supports XL Reporter provided you must upgrade Addons to the existing PL on which SAP is running.
But the error seems to be because of XL Macro Settings.
If you have MS Office 2003 then go to Security --> Macro Settings and then Make it Security as Low and Enable the VB Projects.
If you have MS Office 2007 then Open XL Sheet and then go to Excel Option> Select Trust Center> Trust Center Settings --> Macro Settings --> Enable All Macros and Tick on Trust Access VBA......
This will solve your problem.....

addon: ST-A/PI from 01H_R3_46C to 01J_R3_46C
and
addon: from ST-PI 2005_1_46C SP level 4 to 2005_1_46C SP level 7
I have a R3 4.6C and BW system 3.5 (BW system extract data from R3 by RFC).
This upgrade (addon tools) generate some errors in BW vs R3 interactions???
BW use this tools for extract data???
BW system have this level tools:
ST-A/PI 01J_BCO640
ST-PI 2005_1_640 SP level 6

What error you have ? as far as I know, the report RTCCTOOL will analyze the missing support tools in the system, mainly for service preparation, and it is delivered as part of ST-A/PI (Application Plug in)

How to find lattest firefox version available? Maybe make history versions available too?

After upgrade addon is no longer working. I want to check the version available for download and I can not find one. I know I can start download and I will be able to guess version from file name, but this is not good way. Is there an easy way to find available version?
If not, can you please provide it.
On related subject it would be nice to have access to older versions without going in trouble finding hidden site to download it from FTP. If I am looking for it, I know the risks of using old version.

My point is that you can not see number of latest version. You can download, but you can not see it till you install it. That is inconvenient.
The reason why ask for older version to be accessible is because I can not use new version. Addon that I need does not work therefore I can not use new version. It is not that I do not like security updates. Simply there is no way to use new version. My only option is to find old version or not use it all.

Does this device/os support IPSec

I have a customer trying to setup an ipsec tunnel with me and they are not sure if their device will support it and to be honest, i'm not sure either, but I am leaning towards no. I need a better answer than my gut feeling though.

I upgraded to latest firefox beta 5, it broke my tab related addons, i went back to 4, and they're still broke. How do I fix this?

The following addons appear to have been permanently corrupted by upgrading to firefox beta 5:
Too Many Tabs (TMT)
Session Manager
Tab Utilities
I had others, but have been disabled since before the upgrade.
The problems:
I can't scroll through either webpages or through tabs (that may be an addon feature), the display looks way off, like the resolution inside the window is smaller (not sure how to describe), the options window from the tools menu gave a blank firefox brown window w/ OK/Cancel buttons, the addons/extension window became a tab I couldn't close, and clicking on the Feedback under Help menu did nothing - I had to go to Help>Restart w/ addons disabled to make it work.
I'm running:
Win XP
4gb RAM
3.2ghz dual core
ATI 4200 integrated graphics
Uptime = ~6.5hrs
What I did:
I installed latest beta (today). Problems arose (see details). I uninstalled beta. Installed previous beta. Problems continued. Uninstalled beta. Problems continued. Uninstalled version 4. Reinstalled and problems continued.

It sounds to me like there are two separate processes being intertwined above:
1. Setting up your daughter's MacBook with identifying info; e.g., Apple ID for the user account on that machine.
2. Transferring the iTunes library (a very different operation).
Have you used Apple's Migration Assistant to move your daughter's information from her old machine to the MacBook? That would have avoided this whole issue.
If not, either start the process over and use Migration Assistant, or try to more carefully and precisely define exactly what you did to accomplish this transition. You said, for example, "there was already an Apple ID assigned to this computer." That statement almost certainly did not originate with iTunes.

I want to check my addon compatabilities BEFORE I try to upgrade to Firefox 4 (without checking each and every one manually) How can I do this?

Many people have posted frantic questions about problems downgrading from FF4 to FF3.6, because of incompatabilities with their Addons. I use a LOT of addons. I don't want to check each and every one of them manually for compatability. (And then repeat that in a few weeks, to see what's changed....) And I don't want to try upgrading to FF4 on spec, and then discover I need to downgrade because one or more of the addons I rely on doesn't work.
How can I check the addon compatabilities WITHOUT actually upgrading?

Smart form Addon after Upgrade to ECC 6 EHP4

Hi,
I have succesfully upgraded my system from R/3 4.7 EXT 1 to ECC 6 EHP4.
During upgrade i had to delete Pre configured smart forms Addon ( According to note 572392 ) .
Since we are on EHP4 and no smart forms configured we are not able to print.
The latest pre configured smart form addon ( Best Practice all in one) available is for EHP3.
Please let me how to proceed with this situation as there may be other compaines who are on EHP4 and use pre configured smart forms.

FF Mac Desktop Addon and links download errors after upgrade to 35.0.1

My problem started when FF was repeatedly trying to automatically upgrade to 35.0.1. It repeatedly failed the incremental upgrade and said I should download from Mozilla.org. However, after doing that and installing 35.0.1 both addons and application support for links were broken and did not work. I have tried various solutions including deleting mimeTypes.rdf, deleting FireFox and all associated settings using AppZapper. A clean install of FireFox still is having the problem.
When I try to add any addon, such as AdBlock, I see the message "There was an error downloading" as in the attached image.

Similarly if I click on any link which would download a file, it always fails as in the following image where I attempted to download FireFox.

However, if I click on the download retry widget next to the failed download it will succeed as in the attached image.
These issues first arose after FireFox could not upgrade itself and I did a manual download and install of 35.0.1. Initially, I could not cleanly quit FireFox. It always aborted when I selected Quit. However, since my AppZap delete and reinstall it does quit cleanly. Although, I can not seem to get Addons and link support to work. With out Adblock I really can not use FireFox.
I also use Chrome and Safari. Those are behaving normally. I also used Disk Utility to repair permissions. Nothing was listed in any directory associated with FireFox.
Any suggestions as to how to correct?

I have checked permissions, using both Mac OS X tools, and terminal to assure directory was one to which it could write. I have tried to install a fresh clean copy several times without any improvement.

Customized Addon unable to install after upgraded to B1 8.81 PL06

Hi,
we have developed a number of customized addons for one of our customer who is running
Windows Server 2008
SQL Server 2008 SP2
SAP B1 8.8 PL15
All of our addons are running fine except occasionally disconnected due to network signal dropped.
Recently we have upgraded them to 8.81 PL06. Most of the workstations are upgraded successfully, except a handful of others. Those problematic workstations are encoutering Addons connection issues with the following errors.
[Main]: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x90040154): Internal Error (-214722164) occured [131-183] - Class not registered
[Main]: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x90040154): Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {632F4591-AA62-4219-8FB6-22BCF5F0088} failed due to the following error: 80040154 at h.g()
These workstations are running Windows XP SP2 and users are logged in with administrator rights.
Any idea what went wrong?

This does not make sense because 80% of the workstations are working fine after the upgrade with the same Addon versions. Only 20% of the workstations are getting these errors. And all workstations are running on Windows XP SP2.
