Upgrade and change plan at the same time

My husband and I have phones on the old Family Talk plan. We want to upgrade to iphones and at the same time, switch to the More Everything plan. I can't seem to find a way to do this. When I start with the upgrades I am only given the option to add data to our current plan, not to change the plan completely. Do I change the plan first, then come back and upgrade or vice versa?

Try voice chatting with a rep on Verizon's website. It's under contact toward bottom of page. I would think you need to change the plan first then the phones, but I would check with them.

I would like to get ready for my new iPad. Over time I have accumalated a LOT of Apps which I don't use or would like to organize differently.
Others (games or internal documents/settings) I would like to leave intact. Is there a way to choose what to import and maybe already pre-sort?
I know of the restore feature from a specific backup (used that in the past) that DOES keep the data intact but does not allow for my organizing/spring cleaning scenario...
I was thinking directly of the new Apple configurator tool. I could import my iPad profile, and based on that choose apps to keep (and their data) or delete in a first step. Even better would be if I could then group them in folders or screens BEFORE I sync this new profile to my new iPad.
This would also be ideal to manage backups and different setups for family members when we do the family shuffle.. I upgrade, hand my old device to my better half, she hands her to X family member etc., etc.
My issue is that the help menu of the configurator toll indicates it works only for volume bought applications. Is this right? Why the restriction?
Main concern of course is not installing the application on a specific device BUT to copy the app (AND internal data) exactly to another one!
I'm surprised that Apple hasn't adressed these issues better but maybe they did with this new tool (or another way) and I just don't see/understand it.

My problem is a little different. I would like to selectively sync apps and maybe change/add/delete folders and app screens.
I know how to "clone/restore" the iPad. I was hoping that I could maybe use the Apple confugurator for this purpose and customize my apps based on an import from the old iPad. As such weeding out old apps and not having to use the cumbersome iTunes method but at the same time protecting my backed up data.
It could also simplify data transfer if I could create multiple profiles/people from which I can choose who to sync/transfer to a specific iDevice.
But thanks for taking your time and providing a solution to transfer all files from one device to another.

I click the box 'do not ask me again' and it comes up EVERY TIME. I change things like I don't want history remembered, and when I reload FireFox again, it's back to the way it was BEFORE. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I don't know why this is happening, or how to fix it. What do I do??

I do not want to download another virus program.. I do not believe it is a virus. I am running the full version of Norton 360 and it is doing a daily scan. I have Windows 7, 64 bit OS.

It's not entirely impossible actually as someone has pointed out to me that I can turn on Call Forwarding and that stops any incoming calls. I've just forwarded it to my google voice number and then turned on "do not disturb" in google voice and whenever I get a call it goes straight to my google voice voicemail and my phone does nothing. The only thing now is I still get text messages but I think the phone calls bugged me more because they would make my music turn off for much longer.
Even though this isn't a perfect solution it's something so far so maybe you shouldn't just come out and say there's NOTHING I can do because so far I've found part of a solution. If you don't have anyting productive to say then just don't reply and close the tab. Thanks.

What happens when you try to change them?
Try:
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

First restart your mac and try again.
It could be
that the router and the TC are interfering wirelessly with each other.
You can check this by pressing the option key while clicking on the wireless icon on your screen
Open Wireless Diagnostics
enter your user password
Press CMD 4 then Scan
You will see all the wireless channels being used in your location and you can check if they are on the same channel
Make the SSID for the TC simple like MyTC
Set 5Ghz to auto
Update the TC
Try again

WIFI AND 4G on at the same time

I received a software update yesterday and after it started show my WiFi connection and 4GLTE symbols at the same time. Does this mean they are both running eating up my data plan? and it seems they both are transferring data at the same time according to the green/orange arrows. It this a bug or part of the upgrade?

thanks for the suggestion on Caller id. now my note 3 has decided to not handle email.... freezes and gets really really hot to touch... called TS they advised me to swap phone ASAP and not to use it until I do.... might be a safety issue.... happy days.... sometimes technology sucks......LOL... heads up if your phone freezes gets real hot..... internal issue no fix return!!!!!!!

I wrote a script to rotate my fluxbox background and SLiM theme at the same time, so I could have a contiuously changing background and still have a smooth transition from SLiM to fluxbox. (It just looks so much cooler when both have matching backgrounds). By the time you finish reading it, and configuring your box so it will work, you will probably have decided you could have writtin your own, better script to do the same thing. But, on the off chance anybody finds use for it, here it is:

oh i forgot to mention... its rotating while moving. i.e. is doesn't have to stop rotate and then continue back to origin.

10.3 and 8.1 at the same time

I'm trying to run 10.3 and 8.1 at the same time and have had no luck so far.
I have:
installed 10.3 in a new directory, C:\bea103
I'm running 8.1 in the default C:\bea
changed the point base ports in 8.1
changed the http/https ports in 8.1 to 8001/8002
any ideas on what else I should do?

Did you change this 8453 to someother value for one of the domains. This looks like a Pointbase DB Debug Port. First change main pointbase db port and then change this debug port value also in setDomainEnv.cmd file.

Unable to activate internal and external urls at the same time

We have Configured EBS R12 in DMZ setup as described in Figure F-9 of metalink note 380490.1 ,Option 2.4: Using Reverse Proxy with no External Web Tier.
refering to 726953.1 Case History: Implementing a Reverse Proxy Alone in the DMZ Configuration - R12.
but Not able to activate internal and external urls at the same time in this configuration. Only the node where last autoconfig was run getting activated as web node.
When trying to accees the url of the other node it gets redirected to the url (where autoconfig is last run).and for this error observed is Error Code:502 Proxy Error.The specified Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) port is not allowed.(12204).
For both external and internal services are UP.opmn status is live no error.
Using Apache as reverse proxy.

Finally it's resolved...Following is the solution thought to share in the forum:
The configuration of the E-Business Suite environment for DMZ requires profile options hierarchy type to be set
to SERVRESP.
To change the profile options hierarchy type values to SERVRESP, execute the following SQL script as
shown below:
sqlplus / @/patch/115/sql/txkChangeProfH.sql SERVRESP
After successfully completing the above sql script, run Autoconfig in all nodes to complete the profile options configuration.

A database can work only in one mode at a time.
If the database is started in Dedicated Mode then it can not run in the Shared Mode. If you need to run it in the Shared Mode, bring down the Database , change DISPATCHERS, SHARED_SERVER, SHARED_SERVER_SESSIONS parameters in initfile and bring up the database to run it in Dedicated Mode.
But there is one catch here, if you have started the database in Shared Server Mode even then you can make a Dedicated connection to server.

Getting Logic master to send to both 1-2 and 3-4 at the same time

I have an native Instruments Audio Kontrol 1 'sound card' that I'm running 2 different sets of M-Audio monitors off of. My question i, can I run the master output to both 1-2 and 3-4 at the same time so I can easily check mixes on both sets of speakers without changing every single tracks output?
Also, is this possible to do in iTunes also? I can find nothing in Logic (or anywhere) that will allow this and I initially thought my device was broken until I simply choose 3-4instead of 1-2.

How about routing all the outputs that are currently on Output 1-2 to a bus first then:

Option 2: Use the Send on that bus's output to another bus, route that second bus's output to 3-4 (so both busses are sending audio to both sets of speakers simultaneously).
As an alternative, the Mackie Big Knob is a great hardware solution for routing a signal to 3 sets of speakers, allowing you to switch among them with simple button presses.

Hi BI Experts,
We are in a situation where planned to run new Enhance pack 3 (from EHP1) in BI 7 system and also in same system migration of Bw 3.5 Authorization concept to BI 7 analysis Authorization. Both the activities are planned at the same time in same system.
Do you guys see any risk running two activities at the same time in same BI 7 system?
Would you please highlight your thought or opinion on this?

Same thing happened to me today. I wasn't even using the phone for the past 6 hours and suddenly I can't connect to the internet, none of my internet apps would work - nothing. I tried to call AT&T from the iphone and it locked up - couldn't turn it off, change to the home screen - nada - brick.
Did the Home/Power button thing and that worked but this I've only had this phone for about 4 weeks and it's locked up more times than my 3GS did the whole two years I had it! Ridiculous

Using internal Speakers and optical Output at the same time ?

Hello,
is it now possible to use the internal Speakers and optical Output at the same time ?
Is this a software or hardware limitation ?
Every day im disconnecting the optical output. It can't be good for the contacts. I wont spend over 100 euros buying an external soundcard to solve this problem.
Any Ideas ?
