Upgrade CRM 4.0 to CRM 7.0 - Source Export DVD

Dear All,
We just on going upgrade CRM 4.0 oracle 10.2.0.4 with Suse 10 to CRM 7.0
base on Upgrade Guide :
SAP Customer Relationship Management 7.0 ABAP Based on SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Including Enhancement Package 1 - Document version: 1.0 ‒ 11/21/2008
At step Extraction - Initial software Extraction, i put source upgrade export SAP NetWeaver 7.0 no 51036860 and there is error
"The requested Data Carrier is not mounted on any of the mount points
you entered.
class com.sap.mid.mxp.UnspecificDataCarrierRequest:com.sap.sdt.bootstrap.BootStrap@26544ec1 incompatible with class java.io.File:nullPlease enter mount points for the DVDs required for the upgrade.
Enter at least the mount point for the DVD titled "Export DVD for product CRM"
and also put source upgrade export SAP CRM 7.0 no 51036855 but still error like that
Please advice for this error...

    Please enter mount points for the DVDs required for the upgrade.

    Please check if the requested Data Carrier is mounted on any of the mount points:

    We are in process of upgrading from CRM 5.0 to CRM 7.0.
    We have ICSS application customized in CRM 5.0 . Can you please let me know how can we move this customizations to CRM 7.0.
    We have 2 tracks in NWDI for CRM 5 and CRM 7.
    CRM 5 Track has the customizations in it .
    CRM 7 Track has all the SCA which are of version 7.0.
    How can I get the changes moved from CRM5 Track to CRM7 Track.

  • CRM 7.0 Upgrade Export DVD

    Hello there.
    We are in the midst of performing an Upgrade to 7.0 and one of the points is to define the mount points of the DVDs.
    I have downloaded the Media 51036855 - SAP CRM 7.0 SR1/NW7.01 Upgr. Export 1 of <n>
    For some reason SAPup is rejecting this media, with the error :
    "Enter at least the mount point for DVD Entitled Export DVD for Product CRM"
    HAs any one encountered this situation before ?
    Does anyone know which media is SAPUp referring to ?
    Any help will be greatly appreciated !

    2 things can be done here,
    1. Extract all the DVDs and place it in a download directory. This will be path that prompts you in the upgrade keyword screen, where it asks for the download directory path. SAPup program scans all the DVDs at one time and willnot prompt during the upgrade
    2. otherwise You need to give the path like
    eg
    /upgcd/51036855
    This will take the CD. we also faced the similar situation, its not even taking the / or the LABEL.ASC file at the end of the path
    My recommendation is to use the first option. This reduces your time also.

  • Upgrade CRM Sales -- Professional

    A client originally purchased 10 Professional seats and 10 CRM-Sales seats.  There is only one system defined for this installation.  Needing more transaction capabilities, the client recently upgraded one of the CRM-Sales seats to Professional.  Effectively, the goal is to reduce the CRM-Sales to 9 and increase Professional to 11.
    After purchasing the upgrade, the Contractual Information in the License Key Request section of the portal shows:

    CRM Service User (Standalone)      2        2
    Upgrade CRM Sales --> Professional 1        0
    In order to deploy the additional professional seat, I've requested a new license with 9 CRM-Sales and 11 Professional.  However, I get a "number of licenses users exceeded" message and only a temporary license is issued.
    I have searched the Notes and the licensing documentation, but cannot determine how to claim the "Upgrade CRM Sales --> Professional" contract category so as to enable the additional Professional seat.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Peter & M, thanks to both of you for your responses.
    M, I don't believe you need to delete the production system in order to generate a permanent license.  When I first generated the license with the additional user, and then found that it was only a temporary license, I was able to regenerate a permanent license by simply reducing the professional seats back to the original value.
    Peter, yes, I confirmed that the license was indeed a temporary one.  We're now pursuing it as an administrative issue with SAP.

  • Not able to login to system during upgrade CRM

    I am upgrading CRM 2007 (6.0) to 7.02. I got an error during execution phase in MAIN_NEWBAS/XPRAS_AIMMRG. I am not able to login to system (upgrade still running, logon not possible). I tried to login to shadow system, changed system number to 04 but still not able to login. Please help ASAP.

    If you are in the "Execution" phase which is basically the downtime phase then the shadow wont be available. You need to connect to the main system. You will be able to login using the DDIC user. If you want to login with another user then you will need to unlock the system.

    Hello,
    We are about to initialize CRM 5.0 to CRM 7.0 upgrade. The customer wants to continue enhancing, developing, and making changes in CRM 5.0 system after handing over a copied CRM 5.0 system. Can someone please let me know the procedure to move those enhancements in upgraded CRM 7.0 system?
    Also, if anyone can please share your experience as well as any important steps/things to remember, that will be very helpful. OS is Windows and DB is MS SQL.
    I appreciate any input on both of the above.

    Hi,
    the enhancements you have made to SAP Gui-screens have to be re-implementet/re-developed when you up upgrade to the new Web-UI - there is no help from SAP upgrade tools to do this.
    Therefore, if they continue development in CRM 5.0 (SAP Gui-screens) - you must implement this also in CRM 7.0 - with no help from upgrade tools.

  • After upgrading from Vista 64 64 bit to Window7 64bit the DVD stopped working

    After upgrading from Vista 64 64 bit to Window7 64bit the DVD at first worked just fine but after about 7 months it just stopped responding as if the hardware as in the DVD Dive it compatible with Windows 7. I have reinstalled the full Windows 7 that I got from HP but it still has the same problem and when I try a full recovery it  will start to read the recovery DVD but it take way to long like 15 mins just to start reading and it stops reading with error's after about 2 min's into it.
    Were is the errors that I get
    This PC in not supported by the system recovery disc. you will not be able to continue to recover this system with these disks.
    keep in mind that the problem lies with the DVD drive not working and like stated above it will work if Windows Vista 64 is installed so this error message is not the key to the problem just part of it.

    Fixed the mic issue by running Windows Update and installing the latest audio drivers.

    We are currently running on CRM version 3.0 and planning an upgrade to CRM 5.0.
    Is solution manager absolutely required for this upgrade. I know that SAP heighly recommends it but is it absoutely required.

    "Use of SAP Solution Manager is mandatory for mySAP CRM 2005. When you install SAP CRM 5.0 ABAP server or upgrade to this release, you are asked to enter a key generated by the Solution Manager. For more information, see the installation or upgrade guide for SAP CRM 5.0."

  • DTR Conflict while upgrading CRM ISA 5.0 to SP19 - Missing stylesheet

    Hi All,
    I am working on CRM ISA 5.0 upgrade from SP11 to SP19 in a new track. I have resolved all conflicts except one file stylesheet_ff.css.
    It was present in earlier SP version in this path - DCs/sap.com/crm/tc/web/appbase/_comp/src/packages/mimes/stylesheet_ff.css.
    As it not present in the SP19 components now, I am not able to resolve it.
    After we saw that application was working fine in Development system, we thought of sending everything to Quality environment. Basis people were able to consolidate all changes but got errors while trying to assemble all components.

    In order to resolve this conflict, I created stylesheet_ff.css file at path crm/tc/web/appbase/_comp/src/packages/mimes/stylesheet_ff.css. It didn't resolve our issue because for newly created stylesheet_ff.css file's current version is the first version. Hence I am not able to see any conflict in its version graph from NWDS.
    I have raised an SAP OSS message asking why was this stylesheet remove and got a response as mentioned here
    The reason for this is the changed CSS determination to support more
    browsers (see also note 881967). How the CSS determination works now is
    described in note 1427396.
    In general the content of stylesheet_ff.css has been moved to
    base_stylesheet.css. It is the base for all browsers, because at the
    time of the change, Firefox was the only big browser really adhared to
    the W3C standard.
    All other style sheets are only the delta. They are included after the
    base_stylesheet and the entries in the delta style sheet are overwritingthe entries in the base_stylesheet. This is also the reason why the ie9
    style sheet is so small.
    I can understand SAP's response, however because of this unresolved conflict we are facing issues in assembly.

  • Upgrade CRM to Pro licenses

    Hi,
    I purchased a couple of license upgrades, going from CRM to PRO for SAP B1 2007. Can I easily change the licenses myself?
    I did download some files based on emails that I received.
    There are two ISO files and one zipped file (which I noticed contains "autorun.exe", etc).
    I am looking to upgrade a total of two licenses.

    The most license is named B01_multiple.txt,
    To Apply the license goto License Manager - click the browse button and look for the
    file above then click Import License.
    If success message appeared then you have successfully applied the upgrade license.
    It will take 1 or 2 minutes to initialize or to activate the license.

  • HTTP Authentification Error after upgrading CRM 4.0 to Oracle 10g

    Hi all,
    after upgrading our CRM 4.0 Server from Oracle 9i to 10g, it isn't possible to connect from a local PC via EP 7 to the PCUI applications.
    [Browser running on local PC] -> [EP7] -> [CRM4 with Oracle 10g]
    no authentification possible
    [Browser running on local PC] -> [EP7] -> [CRM4 with Oracle 9i]
    works fine.
    [Browser running on local PC] -> [CRM4 with Oracle 10g]
    works fine.
    [Browser running on EP7 server(!)] -> [EP7] -> [CRM4 with Oracle 10g]
    works fine.
    It looks like a network security feature of Oracle 10g which blocks "man-in-the-middle" attacks?!?
    Anyone any idea?!
