Upgrade CSA MC v5.1.0.106 to v5.2.0.245 - password error

Hi,
I've just upgraded CSA MC from v5.1.0.106 to v5.2.0.245 (the latest hotfix which is a full product).
The upgrade process went fine with no errors. I rebooted and things look fine.
However, when I try to log into the web frontend either locally or over the network I cannot authenticate on the new 5.2 platform - I keep getting access denied. I configured the same username and password as I use for 5.1 and know that it is the same.
I've had a look at the MSQL 'admin' tables for both 5.1 and 5.2 and both have the relevant usernames are there.
Has anybody seen this before - there's no mention of this problem in the install guide or release notes. Alternatively, how can I create another admin user?

I was going to use the same server, I am going to read the documentation tonite.
Do you recommend using a second server. I was going to ghost the 5.1.0.69 and perform the upgrade.

i know the Agent installation should be done on the background but nothing seems to be installing after i check the process running on windows CSAsetup.exe32 appears when i click install and disappears in 3 seconds back.

As far as i remember no 64-bit windows o/s'es are supported yet, they will be in 6.0.2 which is coming very soon, but i doubt it will include win2003 64-bit. If you wanna see if it something in the installation that fails, you could create a new agent kit, like the one you use now, but without the silent install flag set.

Hightlight Login Option. This will bring up the window showing Automatic login.

So now I went back to the screen that orginally asked me for my Apple ID and passort, and instead of entering my Apple ID i entered the email address associated with it and the new password. It now tells me "You can't sign in because your account was disabled for security reasons. To enable your account, reset your passwort at iforgot.apple.com"
I have now changed my password twice and it still doesn't work.
Until I get this resolved my tablet is useless.

There have been a number of problems with installing the latest iTunes on Windows 7 64-bit machines during the last couple of weeks. You might want to do a search on that topic and see if anyone has a solution. There have been various versions of the problem but a lot related to errors in the download package or failure to download.

I restarted itunes and tried again (based on a similar question/solution from 2012).
I don't get the error message anymore, but it's really sort of odd that after step one of sync, it looks as if sync stopped, and then all of a sudden you see step 4 of sync.
Also before the upgrade I had 7+ gigs of space free and after the upgrade I have 10 gigs free. seems like something is amiss, but it's not like I have anyway of determining that.

When it stopped and said error, what was the error? You are saying that you disconnected the phone from the computer and all you see is the USB showing on the phone? Then you need to reconnect to the computer and restore the phone.

Well I spoke too soon.
The update was successful, but now I cannot connect to the 3GS data network.
Cannot get email and cannot open a page in Safari.

Email and internet work fine on WiFi.........no data using 3GS network.
Looks like I will have to revert back to old OS.

Restart with the Mac OS X 10.6 DVD in the drive or with the Lion USB drive connected, hold down the Option key just after the restart, tab to the installation disk, and press Enter. If the computer has a firmware password set, it needs to be provided for this to work.

What OS is on the Install/Restore DVD that came wit your G5? If Tiger 10.4.x, you will need a black, retail Leopard install DVD. There is no free download of Leopard, only free updates once you have installed the base OS.
First use your Mac's Install/Restore DVD to install an OS & apps. Then upgrade the OS.
Leopard is no longer available at the Apple Store *but may be available by calling Apple Phone Sales @ 1-800-MY-APPLE (1-800-692-7753)*.

Thanks for the question. I understand that your iPod nano is not recognized in iTunes after updating. The following troubleshooting articles may provide a resolution based on your symptoms:
Windows
iPod appears in Windows but not in iTunes
iPod not recognized in 'My Computer' and in iTunes for Windows
iTunes reports that "iTunes cannot recognize this iPod at this time"

Yes it would, possibly even brick it.
Have successfully connected my ipod nano with iTunes so looks like the device driver is working.
Can I use my ipod nano USB connector to check?
It is not much help to you, since the device that you need still not recognized.
Anyway looks like I may have to swallow the loss of data. Have set-up a call for tomorrow with Apple support so will wait until after this before doing the factory restore!

LR 5.5 upgrade. I only get the the 32 bit set up and an error when the 64 bit set up should be created. It says not enough disk space and no access to write. The disk space is ok and the 32 bit file was indeed created.

Hi Rob, Thanks for your input. The temp location is on the C drive with 228 GB free space. My other drives have 123 GB and 204 GB of free space. I can see how the 32 bit set up is perfectly extracted when it stops when coming to the 64 bit set up. I have done the exercise several times and also made new downloads. I am using Norton 360 and Malwarebytes anti-malware but the dowload from Adobe should be trusted.
