Abs,
Henrique.

This is part of the message since you cannot post such a long message in posting.
This should show how lost you might be with your warranty. If you install the Firmware Upgrade .8.02 your player might be useless. There is no way to make it work again. Not really. If you understand what Creative seems not to do. So dear user - buy a new player. If you want to know what the solution is to make your player work again post here. If there are enough postings I will explain it here. Too sad that Creative does not do it. It is their job not mine... But again - I am not talking about a problem what is nice to have it solved. I am talking about a player that does not work anymore. If you do not want to wait for my solution just send your player for repair - it was not your fault that it does not work anymore...
This story with the great support was a test of Creative and will be used in a review. So be not surprised to find it somewhere else.
Here the Creative support story. The first mail is at the bottom. I had to make part and part 2 since you cannot post such a long message here.
To: Creative Labs Asia Customer Support <[email protected]][email protected]>Subject: Re: CLA (CTL) - Technical Support Request - (MuVo TX FM) (KMM7755874I6636L0KM)Dear,I know the solution long time already. I just wanted to test the support at Creative. The problem is real and forces owners of your players to buy a new one since their playes get useless after the upgrade. Not only that Creative puts a faulty upgrade on their homepage - their support is good for nothing. But this was a test of the Creative support. I hardly can believe that Creative is not in the position to solve a very simple problem caused by Creative - what has severe consequences for their customers. But this mail story confirms exactly this. So my advice to any customers - stay away from this company and their products - what is the final result of my test. If you want to know the solution for the problem please contact me again - I am glad to help such a poor company :-)))) For free? I am not so sure...since my player was not for free too...Best Regards,PeterPS: The product is still within the "police period" of my dealer. And I did not just buy the product.

Hi Gurus
I created a jsp file and exported it through NWDS export option. But i dont get this par while iView creation. Its present when i searched in the support desk . Can anybody tell me the steps how to create a simple jsp in NWDS and test the same in Potal as iViews.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Use NWDS wizards:
1) File -> Mew Project -> Portal Application -> Create a Portal Application Project
2) Right click on the project you created -> New -> Other -> Portal Application Project -> Create a new Portal Application Object
3) Select Portal Component -> JSPDynPage
4) Write your code ...
5) Deploy the par file & create iview from it.

• Replacing standard  usermanagement par with custom usermanagement par

Hi all,
I had to make some changes on the standard user administration(like hiding fields, creating new fields), for which I have downloaded the standard com.sap.portal.usermanagement.admin.par.
i made a copy(com.***.portal.usermanagement.admin.par) of it and made the changes it works fine with all the changes when I run it from portalapp.xml
Now I need to put this par file in place of the standard one for the changes to effect.
Any idea what all configuration changes do I need to make
thanks in advance
Paul

Detlev
I have made similar changes to the com.sap.portal.runtime.logon par. which is the logon page to the portal.
What I have done there is made a copy of the standard par, customised it.
Now I copied the custom par back into the PCD.
Then I modified the authshemes, xml file, replacing all the occurances of string com.sap.portal.runtime.logon with com.***.portal.runtime.logon(custom par).
Restarted the j2ee engine , I have the new logon page working.
I have all the standard functionality working fine along with the changed look and feel.
I m thinking there should be a similar way out for the usermanagement par too.
let me know if u have any inf.
thanks.

Hi
In CS 6 may be, but not in my CC... Even if I click on CYMK, the color
does not change and the equivalent is made in LAB by default (to see
small icon LAB on the "color" window next to the 1797U which stays by
default on LAB even if CMYK is marked) in " options of nuance ", the LAB
is by default.
Then, in " options of nuance ", if I make CMYK, here is the result
openly (frankly) nobody, no ?
I already had to try your system but it seems that CC does not want to
give me of good colors Pantone U in the screen.
Then, I know in the printing that my color will be printed well, no
worries but this display of screen is too bad it's a pity!

• PAR done but shows PAR Error on planahead 14.7

hi,
am getting PAR error while in log it shows PAR done!!!
this happens only when i change the reset pin of my design from V5 to any other pin.
my design consists of microblaze also.
Thanks

* Net Skew is the difference between the minimum and maximum routing
only delays for the net. Note this is different from Clock Skew which
is reported in TRCE timing report. Clock Skew is the difference between
the minimum and maximum path delays which includes logic delays.
* The fanout is the number of component pins not the individual BEL loads,
for example SLICE loads not FF loads.
Timing Score: 0 (Setup: 0, Hold: 0, Component Switching Limit: 0)
Number of Timing Constraints that were not applied: 1
Asterisk (*) preceding a constraint indicates it was not met.
This may be due to a setup or hold violation.
