Upgrade during evaluation period?

Hi all,
I have installed 2007 A at a client site (they have not gone live yet).
I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade this cust to latest patch during evaluation period.
They do not have a license yet.

It is definately possible to upgrade to the latest patch in the demo system. However, you do need a demo license to do it. If they are already using the demo version and have the demo license then they should be able to download the latest patch and upgrade with no problem. If not, they'll need to request a demo license from the portal

The issue may occur if Evaluation Edition or CTP Edition of SQL Server was installed earlier on the server, however, the previous instance of SQL Server was not uninstalled completely or upgraded to Business Intelligence Edition successfully. To resolve
the issue, modify the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\110\ConfigurationState registry key value from 1 to 3, and then rerun the Edition Upgrade procedure from the SQL Server install media to upgrade the SQL Server components to the
licensed edition again.

If you notice correctly you can see your SQL server reporting service is not patched to SP1.I would recommend you to first apply SP1 for reporting service and then try to follow advise mentioned in below article.

I am not sure this could be workaround but you should give it a try.
There are 2 reporting services mode running one is sharepoint integrated and other is native try upgrading native and can you please tell which one is giving the error.
Also if you see the screenshot pasted by you one has stand edition other has enterprise .Is is correct ?

Evaluation Period has expired - SQL server Management Studio

I am new to this environment and I have an issue with SQL studio management – it says
“Evaluation period has expired. For information on how to upgrade your evaluation software please go to
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/howtobuy”.
The questions I have are :
1. How do I know what version of SQL I am running ?(since I cant go through studio management)
2. I can see sql server 2008 r2 on the program files- does that mean SQL management studio is 2008 R2?
3. How do I upgrade to a proper version ? – Is it through “installation center “ on program files ?
4. Will the upgrade stop any SQL services?

I have managed to find the version of SQL server 2008 R2 running through the registry and it says :
Edition: Standard Edition
Edition Type : Standard Edition
But i can not find any indication that an evaluation copy was initialy installed. - I have been asked to suggest an upgrade path. My question is ? am i upgrading just SQL management studio ? or SQL server 2008 R2.
Also , if SQL is expired - i presume something should stop working (in terms of database etc) But in my enviroment - everything seems fine except the error message when you try to lunch SQL management studio.

100% Sensor load during some period

Dear ALL,
Issue: IDSM is showing 100% Inspection(Sensor) Load during certain periods daily which causes more than 2000 ms delay in the network.This issue occurs after upgrading the signature engine to E3
We have also monitored the traffic during 100% Load on PRTG but traffic has still in normal utilization 40 to 50Mb.
I have found the same 100% Load issue on the Cisco TAC case.
Has any one faced this issue before in their workaround. Actually we are not sure about our issue. Is our issue also related to SMTP traffic or not as in the TAC case.
How can we identify our issue?

I get "Red" status events on "inspectionLoad" very frequently. I am not quite sure if it has always been this frequent. I wonder if the "healthAndSecurity" status alerts can be sent off to a syslog server for long term storage, review and analysis.
Are you getting "Red" status events on "inspectionLoad"? Just recently or all the time.
There is another thread in this forum about something like highcpu or something like that. I am not sure if that one was very specific.
I wonder if this is related to Cisco updating signature files with new sigs are enabled by default related to 5 year old vulnerabilities.

SQL Server 2012 Standard saying its Evaluation period has expired

We installed SQL 2012 Standard on a server and have since created a 1TB SQL server database. Suddenly, we started receiving an error when opening the SQL management Studio that our evaluation period has expired. We purchased 2 licenses of Standard
2012 and installed it on two servers. One is working fine, and the other is saying it had an evaluation copy.
According to our VLSC account, there isn't a product key required, so I can't run the edition upgrade to upgrade it to standard. Is there a way we can get the license converted without risking the 1TB database we created?

Sometimes the media provided when you buy the licenses have the product key prepidded. You may find the product key shows by itself
when you reach the Product Key page of SQL Server setup. Please try that?
An edition upgrade won’t delete any data or configuration of the SQL Server instance. Please read the following article:

Unable to connect to SCOM server how to upgrade from evaluation

hi all,
I have MS SCOM 2012. I tried to open 'Operation Manager Console' and got error
"Failed to connect to server <server name>.
The service threw an unknown exception. see inner exception for more details.
In these details: I found it says
you have exceeded evaluation period of this product. Please upgrade to retail version to continue using the product.
I found similar threads which says to renew using product key. but I cannot go operation manager shell also.
In the shell, it says same, cannot connect to operation manager management server. although I can connect to sql server locally.
so do I need to uninstall and reinstall retail version of SCOM completely or it there any other way to do it?????

Did you purchase SQL licenses with SAP Business One? If not you can still order SQL from SAP. I suggest this option as the pricing from SAP for SQL is quite competitive and it includes an annual maintenance that allows you to keep up to date with future releases of SQL. You can purchase SQL from a retailer, but there will be no annual maintenance or upgrade path in future. There are 2 types of licensing you an choose from, namely CPU license which has no limit on number of users, or per seat which restricts to number of users. CPU license makes sense after about 25 users or so, and is then cheaper. For less users, per seat is the cheapest option.

I don't know a standard report (SE95 does not seem to include selection by date), maybe you can tweak SE16 display of table SMODILOG for your purpose.

I try to select the number of concurrent transactions during a period.
I know how to select the number of transactions executed in one day, but i want to know the concurrent transactions.
Can you help me ?

Which transactions do you wish to track?
Are you referring to transactions that occur against a specific set of tables or all transactions against a schema and/or database instance?

Upgrade during evaluation period?
