Upgrade from 4.6 C to ECC6.0,missing field CAUFVD_UPD-INDBT

Hi All,
I am using the user exit EXIT_SAPCOI1_027. I am using a sub routine CAUFVD_UPD for updating the values using memory ID's. The system has been udgraded from 4.6C to ECC6.0. This sub-routine defined in the FM CO_BT_CAUFV_UPD. Here in this FM an table CAUFV_BT is being read by an index field CAUFVD_UPD-INDBT. But in the newer version the fild INDBT does not exist. So i am getting an error message CO 888 "Error when reading internal order header with index". Is there an OSS note which takes care of it? Please help asap.

TP version problem during upgrade from 4.7 sr2 to ECC6

i am doing an upgrade from 4.7 to ECC6 (ultimately i have to upgrade to EHP4). I am stuck in phase PREPARE module Initialization finished with status failed #. Below is the error i am getting. before pasting log file i tried my best to uprade TP level by upgrading the Patch level. but its not taking effact in to SAP system. If i check TP version in STMS >> system >> Check TP tool it shows me old version.

i downloaded the 47 kernel files SAPEXEDB_304-20001172.SAR and SAPEXE_304-20001172.SAR and installed the kernel file. if i check TP version from command level it shows me 340.16.62, but in SAP STMS it shows me 340.16.03. Can somebody explain what shoulkd i do?
Can i know also if i can update SAP Kernel from 4.7 sr2 to NW7.0 without upgrading even started?
If somebody can tell me the exact number of CDs to use to upgrade from 4.7 SR2 to ECC6 EHp4, that would be very
nice.

build on 21.06.06 or later.
ERROR: The upgrade needs a patched version of tp with version
number 340.16.05 or higher.
show that the tp and R3trans used by the source 470 system are old.
You should download the latest tp and R3trans for kernel 470, and
replace the old tp and R3trans with the downloaded ones under the 470 kernel directory. The 470 kernel directory is specified by parameter DIR_EXECUTABLE which is usually /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run.
Please note that there is also a kernel directory under /<DIR_PUT>/<SID>/SYS/exe which is for the the target system 700. Please do not replace tp and R3trans under this directory with the ones downloaded for kernel 470.
NO, you cannot update SAP Kernel from 4.7 sr2 to NW7.0 without upgrading even started. Kernel upgrade will be done by SAPup automatically.

The installer is over 5Gb's and could take many hours to download.
Check the download status in the App Store application.

Depreciation Run Error while Upgrading from SAP 4.6C TO ECC6.0

We are upgrading from 4.6c to ECC 6.0. In ECC 6.0 we need to make the Number Range Interval as "Internal" and Batch Session tick to be removed from the Depreciation Document Type.
While executing depreciation run, it got terminated and I have done the above changes. After that I have restarted the Depreciation. I have got the following error Message.

Upgrade from Luna To Mars - project components are missing

I upgraded from Luna to Mars. Before upgrading, I exported by projects, upgraded and imported them. Now, in the Navigator, I only see a handful of items, outline view is empty, and so is the palette.
I'm new to Startdust and am experimenting, so I may have done something incorrectly. Does anyone know how to get the Model object back?

Those paths you see are the location of the templates on the machine Adobe used to compile them.
Try deleteing all templates in your cfclasses folder and then restarting CF.

Got stuck on MAIN_NEWBAST/TABIM_UPG will upgrading from R/3 470 to ECC6.0

Hi experts.
While I am doing SAP R3 upgrading now, from 470 to 6.0, but seems the upgrade program got stuck on the phase of TAB_IMP in downtime. It takes more than 15 hrs without and logs writed or and CPU occupied... The latest changed log was oracle's alert log which 10 hrs before..
I have no idea how to deal with this cause there were no error... no warning....
My OS system was NT 2003 with 32bit. It was 4 CPUs with 8G memory.. the oracle is 10.2.0.2, is this may caused by the version of oracle?
Anyone who can gives me some suggestions will be much more than thanks!

My OS system was NT 2003 with 32bit.
it is due to 32bit Os and you are going for upgrade to ECC 6.0 with EHP4.
There is some pool table updation which take lots of tme due to 32bit operating system.,
Its better to upgrade you OS from 32bit to 64bit and Oracle 32 bit to 64 bit before SAP upgradation.

Upgrade from 8.2 to 9.0 - buttons missing to submit form

Hello everyone,
We have upgraded to LiveCycle ES2 from LiveCycle ES.
When we open the tasks via Workspace ES2, the buttons are missing to submit form. Buttons which should be there because "User must select a route to complete this task" option is selected; and it was working fine in version 8.2. There is only a submit button which appears on the form.
Could you advice about the case please?

Upgrade from 7 to 8 results in CFIDE missing

We just upgraded our test server from 7 to 8. The upgrade seemed to go fine, and our test sites are working. Toward the end of the upgrade process, the installer took me into CF Administrator, which worked fine. After the installer completed, it told me there was a previous version that should be uninstalled. I went in and uninstalled it and then rebooted. The sites still work, but I cannot get into Administrator. The CFIDE folder at the root is missing. I assume the uninstall of 7 zapped it.
So I do have CF 8 on a production server, and I thought I would just copy it over. Once I do that I am getting an error:

There is more after that. The strange thing is those "at" lines. It references e:\cf8_updates. The production server has no E drive at all. The test server does have an E, but there is no CF8_updates folder. I installed CF8 from the D drive, so I'm not sure where the reference to E is coming from. This is a Windows Server 2003 using IIS 7.

Trying to upgrade from Win 8 to Win 8 Pro, missing "add features"

Hello,
I bought a new laptop that has Win 8 preinstalled on it. I can't figure out how to tell what edition, I think it's Home something or other.
I've tried following the directions at:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/feature-packs
When I swipe and search for "add features" it comes up blank. I have a MSDN subscription and downloaded (and got a key for) a Win 8 Pro ISO, but I tried running it and it didn't seem to do anything. I was never presented with a
place to enter my key for the upgrade. I assume I can use this key if I ever get the "add features" to show up?

We are doing an upgrade from SAP 4.6B to ECC6.0. I would like to know what would be the best approach for doing a performance test in an upgrade project. More specifically,
1. What are the main components that need to be tested for performance?
2. What are the important transaction codes/external applications (if any) that can be used to do performance testing in both 4.6B and ECC6.0? (ST05 or ST30 or something else?)
3. Any best practice recommended by SAP for doing performance tests?

After upgrade from 4.6c to ECC6.0 F4 Help is not coming for few date fields

Hi Friends
Just now we have completed upgrade project from 4.6c to ECC6.0.
After upgrade F4 help is not working for some date fields.
For example its working in MB11,Its not working in va01,vf01 like that.
In abap side we checked ...not able to find any issues in coding level, because its a standard SAP code.
So if any solution is there to correct this issue.Kindly help me to resolve this asap.

Upgrade from 4.6C to ECC6.0 - development quality and production

Upgrade from 4.6C to ECC6.0
I have got three systems right now...
Development(D1) Quality(Q1) Production(P1).
These three systems need to be upgraded to ECC6.0
The recommended process is to copy D1 to a new temporary server(D2) and
then upgrade it. At the time of the copy we will have to run the transactions
SPDD and SPAU for which the one one transport requests will be created.
Now after the complete upgradation we will be running the UCCCHECK and SCUV.
The problem is after running this process we are going to copy the Quality(Q1)
to a new quality system Q2. Now the code in the D2 system is unicode complaint with all the
same functionalities as in D1.
How to get all the change and customizing objects which is updated in the D2 system
to the Q2 system (only the relevant ones - this will also ensure for PRD as the same process could be followed)?
Or else do we have to repeat the process for both the new quality(Q2) and new production(P2)
systems?

If you do SPDD and SPAU changes to create unique transports (as per upgrade guide) so the Q2 upgrade will have it embeded during the upgrade process then you should not have any problem because after the D2 combined upgrade (unicode and Technical Upgrade) the system will be in Unicode, UCCHECK is to check unicode compatibility as long as I know. You won´t need to use SPDD and SPAU again in Q2.
Also you could do Upgrade to D2, run UCCHECK and SCOV and then create all changes to objects that needs to be changed to create requests. Then do Q2 upgrade and when is finished then you move every transport you need from D2 to Q2 to do the necesary tests, it should not take much time. In the upgrades I know and done this is the way the changes were moved up to PRD, we have never used the unique transport request mentioned in the Guide. During Quality tests developers and funtional consultants will need to keep doing changes until everything is OK so even if you create unique requests, you will also have to transport after PRD upgrade.
Either way you won't need to run SPDD and SPAU after D2 upgrade.
