Upgrade from cs5 to cs6 will not install

Hi, I purchased and downloaded the upgrade from CS5 to CS6 including the Akamai installer. but the upgrade will not install and I am unable to contact Adobe anywhere for a solution to my issue. I have uninstalled CS5 using Adobe CC Cleaner and it still won't install. Help!!!

Photoshop_13LS16.7z 1.1GB
plus the instructions file
(I've downloaded these files now 3 times and tried them all)

Premiere Pro CS5.5.2 will not install after motherboard replacement ?

Premiere Pro CS5.5.2 will not install after mothboard replacement .It was running correctly for 4 weeks prior to replacement due to AC connection issues and Wireless connectivity.
Adobe Case No. 183519673, Adobe Technicians (Asia/Pacific) have worked on this issue for over 3 hours with no results after uninstalling and reinstalling.
Any ideas to fix issue wou;ld be appreciated.

Which operating system are you running? It might still be running in the background. You may want to check your Task Manager or Activity Monitor. Or better yet, if you feel uncomfortable with that, try logging out of your user account, then back in. That might kill any stray processes.

Adobe Photoshop CS6 will not install on my Mac. Adobe Application Manager is seeing the Beta version of Photoshop CS6 on my machine.
I have unistalled/deleted any previous versions of the software, and used the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner tool to flush my machines. Sadly,
I am still getting the following error:
Photoshop CS6 Installation Failed
A beta version of this product exists on the computer. Please quit and uninstall that version before continuing.

It's strange that you ran the cleaner tool and still didn't worked
you can try to login to Root user account and then run the cleaner tool , and then check.

Upgrading from CS5 to CS6

I am trying to upgrade from CS5.1 to CS6. However, that seems easier said than done. The installer claims that my license number is not a valid product for the upgrade. Any ideas?

You are not upgrading to the same product... when I go to the CS6 purchase page, there are separate links for Design Standard and Design & Web Premium... so, as I said in my first reply, your existing product does not qualify as an upgrade

Try using FireFox. IE will only run on a Mac if you run Windows on the Mac.

Latest patch for Fireworks CS6 will not install

Tries to install latest patch but it will not install, the application manager just hangs and crashes, on OSX 10.6.8

1) Open Control Panel and Navigate to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features .
Under Program and Features list, locate the option : Adobe Creative Cloud and uninstall the same.
2) Open C:drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.
3) Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and if present delete Adobe Creative Cloud folder.
4) Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) along with R button together at a time , you will get a run command window.
Type in below command and hit 'Enter' key.

Then navigate to Local>Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and delete folders named AAMUpdater and OOBE.
5) Click on the below link and download Creative Cloud setup file and use the same to install the Creative Cloud Desktop application.

Flash Professional CS6 will not install

I keep receiving the error message: Installation Failed. Installation encountered an error. Please restart your system and try again. (15)
I have restarted twice and still the application will not install. My MacMini meets the system requirements necessary to run the software.

Upgraded from CS5 to CS6 - Serial number not for a qualifying product. Chat not available

I get a page saying "serial number not for a qualifying product. Please try another. " during install. I upgraded from Design Standard CS5 to Design Standard CS6 .
Also, Chat is never available to me. 6 tries to no avail so far.
Any help would be most appreciated or if someone knows how else I can contact Adobe as Chat is never available.

I attempted to reslove via CS chat but was unable to get assitance due to it being "outdated".
In so many words: That's BS. Only support can look into the customer database and they have to sort it out. Contact them again, escalate the case to the next level until you get someone qualified enough to resolve your issue.

Photoshop CS6 will not install from Adobe Apps manager

I have the cloud subscription and I tried downloading PS, it said it could not so so because i had the beta installed. So I got rid of the beta and tried again....still said no. So I emptied my trash and restarted, and it still will not download PS. I got all my other software ok, but cant get PS for some reason. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I talked with support, go download the adobe cleaner and it will allow you to see what files from PS CS6 are still on your system and get them off. I am trying now, will let u know if it works.

I am trying to install adobe illustrator CS5 from cd but it will not install

When I install it the message 'installer has failed to initialize' appears. It then advises to download the Adobe Support Advisor. I have done this but the advisor will not respond (I have already installed Adobe Air). I have also successfully run the Adobe cleaner tool.
Any help please?

Try downloading it and then run the installer.
1. Navigate to Illustrator CS6 Downloads page : http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=illustrator
2. Sign in with your Adobe ID.
3. Copy and paste the following links on the address bar one at a time and hit enter :

4. Save both the files.
5. Run the .exe file
In case you still face issues
Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and clean out the temporary files created during install in your temp directory. Additioanlly, check your task manager and terminate any instances of setup.exe and msiexec.exe that may still be running
