Upgrade GRID 11202 to 11203, lost wizard before running rootupgrade.sh

I was in the process of upgrade from 11202 to 11203. However when I was at final stage right before running rootupgrade.sh I lost VPN connection with office and so lost the installation wizard. I hate such stuff but I was bit overconfident.. paying for it..
well, do you know what are the steps I am missing beside running rootupgrade.sh? and
Can I run those post steps and say upgrade completed?
or I need to deinstall 11203 without running rootupgrade.sh and then redo whole thing?
any information / direction highly appreciated..

What OS? I would HIGHLY recommend that you install VNCServer(server-side)/VNCViewer(desktop) on what ever platform you are using and launch any and all install/long-running apps/queries etc... from that console. http://www.realvnc.com/download/vnc/
This will keep the actual install running on a "console" and not a remote X11 display. That way, if you have remote access, it does not take forever to repaint the screen and you can disconnect the "console" and reconnect later (start the install - go home - reconnect - finish uninterrupted). This has saved a LOT of pain and suffering from unstable connections and those windows weenies that are constantly pushing the patch-of-the-day-that-requires-immediate-and-unstoppable-install/reboot to the user community. VNC is usually standard on Linux. Works GREAT!!! (IMHO).

Thanks but have tried that - When I try to restore I get a -50 error and into a loop of taking another back up. I took a copy of the back up before the IOS upgrade and have it stored on my desk top but I cannot get Itunes to restore to that back up
Any ideas how I can do this?

Upgraded to iphoto 11 and lost all pictures

Perhaps my question has been answered in another area, but I couldn't find it. I, like others who have upgraded to iphoto 11 have lost all my pictures. They are not on the new iphoto version nor in any of the picture library files. Are they gone? If not, where do I start looking for them? Never had a problem like this before. Any Advice?

What system are you running and what version of iPhoto do you currenty have? How did you perform the upgrade? From an iLife disc or from the App Store?
Is there an iPhoto Library package in your Pictures fodler? If so what is its size as shown in the Finder?
Is that size large enought to include your photos?

Upgrade Mac OS 17.0, Lost my hard drive in Windows

Before upgrade Mac OS, I had three hard drives C:, H and G. Drive H is for Mac operation system. C and G are NTFS for windwos operation system.
After upgrade Mac OS, I lost G Hard drive, only have C hard drive in the Windows operation system. The G Hard drive had some data files. I don't understand why ater upgrade Mac operation system I lost G Hard drive in Windows Operation system.

Did you erase your hard drive before upgrading? If you have the install disks, you can just reinstall. Unless you have recently purchased your Mac and do not have the older versions installed, the new versions at the app store have to be purchased.

I have upgrade to Firefox 11 and lost all bookmarks. None of the on-line articles help. Please advise on how to recover the bookmarks. I have tried to go to the pages that I use and it will not let me bookmark them.

If you open your current profile folder, do you have a bookmarkbackups folder in there?
Help > Troubleshooting Information > Open Containing Folder button
If so, copy those somewhere safe before proceeding.
If not, do you ever back up your profile folder?
You also might navigate up a level and see whether you have any other Firefox profiles.
If you cannot save any new bookmarks, I wonder whether your places.sqlite file (stores history and bookmarks) in your profile has become corrupted. You might need to rename that file and allow Firefox to create a new one before you can save new bookmarks again. I wouldn't delete the file just yet, as it might contain some useful stuff.

Is the Pic being sent ?
If you use the spyglass icon at the right hand end it should open the FIle Transfer window which in turn should indicate is it was "Sent" or "Failed".
It may also show a spinning barber shop poll in indicate it is still trying to send it.

Thanks petermac87...but for some reason, the only purchases showing are OS. So assuming iPhoto is in Mountain Lion, I was hoping to look under Hidden Items there as you suggested, but there is no option for that. Only option is to download Mountain Lion again, not iPhoto specifically. Any ideas welcome!

The Photos app doesn't currently support subfolders, it only has the one level of folder/album. You will either need to change your folder structure on your computer to be just one level, see if there is a third-party photo app in the store that copes with subfolders, or just make do. If the phone doesn't power on and isn't seen by the computer then you wouldn't be able to pull data off it with the USB connection to your computer.
You could pursue data recovery if the notes are very valuable, but the cost can be similar to having data recovered from a failed computer drive(possibly prohibitively expensive).

I use Norton 360 and it's compatible with the latest Firefox 8 version. However, you will have to activate or [http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-360/Firefox-8-Support-for-Norton-Toolbar/td-p/581640 enable] the add-ons since Firefox 8 automatically disables the add-ons for security reasons.
You are right though, some companies do take some time until they have updated their add-ons to be compatible with the latest versions of Firefox.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Use your backup copy to put everything on the new computer.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipad- without syncing : File>Transfer Purchases
In some countries you can redownload some itunes content.

ThanksYou cannot upgrade 10.1.3.x ORACLE_HOME after you lay down R12 software and before the actual upgrade since your instance should be on R12 to apply the patches in (Upgrading to the Latest OracleAS 10g 10.1.3.x Patch Set in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 [ID 454811.1]). So, upgrade to 12.1.1/12.1.3 then upgrade the 10.1.3 ORACLE_HOME to the latest patchset (10.1.3.5).

Ah, okay. More info - knowing you have lost more than just the keyboard sounds is a big hint !
Get a strong light and a magnifying glass an have really good look inside the base connector and the headphone socket. You are looking for fluff.
These new symptoms have frequently been found to be caused by fluff in either socket and the phone thinking its on the headset.
Put the headset on and have someone ring you - if you hear the phone in the headset, its the socket faulty or clogged with fluff.
