Upgrade has clobbered bookmarks

All was going well with Firefox 11 this morning until it installed an automatic upgrade. Now all bookmarks have been lost. I tried restoring from a previous date. Nada! History is lost as well. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. This did nothing. My addons are still operating. As an experiment I tried to import my Firefox bookmarks into Chrome. Chrome found them and imported them. I then tried to import these bookmarks into Firefox. It would not work. All of this happened during the latest upgrade. I tried running is safe mode - no bookmarks and no ability to restore them.
Firefox is also sluggish. Not so with IE.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Firmware Upgrade has hosed my Gateway - Massachusetts

An early morning Gateway firmware upgrade has apparently stopped a lot of Gateway's from recognizing devices. In addition, the Gateway will go offline and come online 2 dozen times in an hour. I'm getting a little frustrated with the downtime of this product. Thankfully it's only $9.99, becuase that's all it's worth.

Yikes, only thing I can think of is an Apple Store possibly being able to cure it.

You need to look at Mac's iTunes, check  > System Preferences > iCloud.
If you use iCloud for Calendar, Contacts then turn off those items in iTunes, Info tab with your iPhone connected and selected.

In Firefox 3.6 on Windows you can hide the menu bar via "View > Toolbars" or via the right click context menu on a toolbar.
Press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the menu bar.
Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the menu bar or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide.

HH3 no software upgrade has occurred and HH3 keeps...

My HH3 has been installed for a while now, over 4 months, and no software upgrade has ever occurred on it. Currently the Software version is 4.7.5.1.83.8.57 (Type A). The hub works fine and I am getting a speed out of it that is fine for the exchange I am on and the distance from the exchange. The hub now seems to be restarting itself at about 03:15hrs every day. This has been going on since the 7th. June and will last for anything from 1 - 9 days constantly restarting at about the same time every day. This is the message logged into the router last night when the restart occurs:

Could this be the software upgrade trying to install or is there another issue? The settings on the HH3 are basically factory settings. My concern is that with all this restarting is my profile being affected and by association am I getting the best speed possible.

your noise margin is a little higher than normal but nothing to worry about it looks like the hub may be trying to update you could try to do a factory reset of the hub and see if that solves the problem

I get the message "Firmware upgrade has failed. Please ensure that valid entries were specified in the required fields." when I try upgrade the firmware
rootfs.bin over http/https. Someone an idea?

It looks like you pulled the bin file out of the tar file you downloaded. Please try to do the upgrade with the tar file. I believe that is what the WAP is looking for.

Ipad upgrade has been verifying itself for three days now.

Ipad upgrade has seized control of my iPad and is in ongoing verification mode. I cannot power it off or access the system to halt the process. Verification has been in progress for three days now. Suggestions for assistance?

Upgrade has been disabled : Windows Server 2003 to 2008 Upgrade

To whom it may concern :
I have a virtualized Windows 2003 Web Edition (x86) that needs to be upgrade to Windows Server 2008 (x86). It has several web applications installed and configured thus clean install of Windows Server 2008 is not an option.
In short, I get a "Upgrade has been disabled" message.
It also says, "You cannot upgrade from Windows Server 2003 Web Edition to Windows Web Server 2008. You can upgrade to ." Would you please help?
FYI. the Windows Server 2003 has a single partition and setupact.log as follow:

Looks like you'll need to clean install it.

Adding to tonefox's comment, if you had this upgrade button before and now you do not, it means your iPhone had previously been on iOS 5 or higher and now is at a lower level. That would indicate some type of hacking or jailbreaking, which would be a bad situtation.

It would be 'Bookmarks' > 'Show All Bookmarks' and in the window that appears there is an 'Import and Backup' menu on the top. Click that and then choose 'Export Bookmarks to HTML..'. Now on the other PC it would be the same procedure except for the last, where now you have to choose 'Import Bookmarks from HTML...'.
