Upgrade - Health Check Error

Hi All, I am upgrading the site collection which has NO workflow implemented in 2010. When I am doing health check before the upgrade I am getting this

•<websiteUrl>/Education Documents/Forms/template.dotx - Reset page to default

What is this error about? Should I proceed the upgrade with this error or resolve?
Please advice.

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you got “Reset page to default” error in Health Check.
If you haven't customize any workflow or anything, you can just reset them to the default, it’s OK.
Because in the database the sourse pages were completely uncustomized, out of the box.
So, you can reset them to the default, then check with Health Check, it would no error again.

  • RSMO: Health Check Error ORA-16820

    Hello Everyone,
I'm trying to troubleshoot this weird error in our DG setup. I have FSFO enabled and observer running. However, when i check the status of standby database with show database 'stdby', i get ORA-16820, however, i do the same for primary database, status is success.
Already looked at DG logs, but not much help other than health check error with ORA 16820 FSFO observer is no longer observing this database.
Any pointers to troubleshoot is appreciated.
    Thanks.

Solution as per the 579256.1's is
The returning objects will have to be recompiled or recreated to clear the problem.
Please see Note 781959.1 to recompile them. This can cause problems during upgrade and PLSQL validation.
But in my case above objects are not synonyms and are of type=2.
So, not sure how to fix them. pl. let us know how we can fix these errors.

Well, I can tell you that this kind of error is not OS related, but rather a HW thing.  It happens where there is a general detection of something going wrong.  Sometimes it can happen randomly and might not be an indication of a problem.  But sometimes it can be caused by things that are improperly functioning within the system like bad capacitors.
Unfortunately I don't really know what to do about such things except give you machine a proper inspection.  But if things are working fine, and continue to do so, I wouldn't worry about it.  If it becomes a regular occurance, then I'd worry.

  • Alerts - All Metrics Errors - Health Check - Collection Failure

I have database instances with Health Check - Collection Failures.
These errors are almost 30 days old. I originally received the Health Check errors because the credentials were not set properly. I then set them but the errors have not aged out.
Does anyone know how can I clear out the Health Check errors?
When I look at All Metrics, Health Check for one of these databases, the Last Upload date is very old.
    Maybe I can I force a re-collection?

The scope of this note is limited to Agents 10.2.x monitoring Oracle Databases running on HP-UX.
By default, the Agent 10.2.x is collecting the Healthcheck metric every 15 seconds. This metric basically gives an indication whether the monitored database is up and running.
On some circumstances, the Healthcheck metric cannot be collected. This results in such entries being added every 15 seconds to the $AGENT_HOME/sysman/log/emagent.trc log file:

    Solution
There are several steps to solve this problem:
    1. If the Agent Release is 10.2.0.1 or 10.2.0.2, upgrade the Agent to 10.2.0.3 and follow the steps below.
    2. For HP-UX 10.2.0.3 Agent, here are the instructions to fix the problem while keeping the Healthcheck metric enabled. This section takes place in the Agent Oracle Home.
2.1. Download Patch 5854190 from Metalink.
2.2. Setup the Agent environment and shutdown the Agent by doing:

  • Multicast Issues following R2 Upgrade - MCSIsapi failed Health Check

    Hi all,
I am having yet more issues with multicasting following upgrading to SCCM 2012 R2. (running on Server 2008 R2).
I have tried several times now:
unticking all images marked for multicast
unticking all DPs from enable multicast
waiting for WDS to be removed
    reboot
    enable DP for multicast
wait for WDS to be installed
    reboot
    enable image for multicast
But when I run my task sequence the smsts.log does not recognise that I have a multicast enabled DP and begins to download via unicast.
    extract from smsts.log:
    <![LOG[Locations: Multicast = 0, HTTP = 1, SMB = 0.]LOG]!><time="10:13:18.066-60" date="07-08-2014" component="ApplyOperatingSystem" context="" type="1" thread="1244" file="resolvesource.cpp:2749">
On the server WDS is installed, running and looks healthy.
All the multicast logs look healthy apart from MCSIsapi.log which states:
Failed to perform health check (0x80004005)
    HealthCheckRequest::HandleMessage failed with errorcode (0x80004005)
Failed to process HEALTHCHECK request for client ffffffff-ffff-ffff-ffff-ffffffffffff
MCSRequestHandler::HandleMessage for Op HEALTHCHECK failed with server errorcode 2052
I have all the MCS keys in the registry. SerializedMCSKey and SignedSerializedMCSKey are both populated.
Can anyone shed any light on how to overcome this issue?

  • SharePoint 2013 site collection 'upgrade completed with errors'

    Hi All,
I am in process to upgrade SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013 with all steps as mentioned in TechNet.
I was able to get all the SP2010 UI in SP2013 environment. However, when I navigated to top level site and clicked on “Site
Collection health checks”. In SP2010 environment I never used (as Farm Admin) any Video content type. It belongs
to out-of-the-box "digital asset content types" and cannot be deleted.
Therefore I changed the name of Video to our department name like "Video - Company" and ran the site collection health check again. This time there was no conflict for content types.
After ran the site collection upgrade I got following error.

    Hi All and Inderjeet,
Thanks for your reply and pointers.
I did follow the steps as mentioned in the links above. I used some third party solutions but not for any Video solution. I was able to successfully migrated the SP2010 (WSS_Content) to SP2013 (WSS_Content) environment a few weeks back with exactly same
third party solutions and no site collection error:
I renamed the default and out-of-the box video site content type as shown:
I ran the "Site Collection Health Check" and did not receive any error as in my second screenshot.
But, after upgrade the Site Collection Upgrade and got the same errors.
I don't know if there is any SharePoint Server 2013 patch gave this error as I keep run the Windows Server 2012 (not running R2) and SharePoint Server 2013 regularly.
Can suggest how to resolve this error?
    Many Thanks!!

Usually, the upgrade is verified by querying v$version and dba_registry, and verifying the number of invalid objects in the database. Also, you will have to access the application once the upgrade is done and see if you get any issues.

I have never seen this error and my googlefu return issues with overclocking which I am not doing. Any info on the subject I'd love to hear.
    Cheers.
EDIT: Was only happening when issuing 'systemctl reboot' so I switched back to 3.10.10-1-ARCH and reboot command now works.

  • Health Check in Exchange 2007 Scripting

    Hi All,
I have been looking around for scripts which would help me perform regularised health checks in my enviornment. After lot of googling i was able to get a script which would meet my requirements. However i have a few challenges involved in extracting some
    more information:
    1. Mailbox Store Size, Free Diskspace percentage for mailbox servers
    2. Remote Mail flow Tests & Mailflow test to every exchange 2007 mailbox servers in org.
    3. Automating Email of collected data (in HTML) to Administrator.
    4. Executing the script Automatically without triggering it from Exchange Management Shell.

  • Notebook caught in infinite loop, then gives a Hard Drive Short DST check error in Bios

My laptop shut off unexpectedly last week. It got caught in an infinite loop when trying to restart. I was able to access bios and run a system check. I received Failure ID Q0821A-7017lt-xd7wwk-60xx03. I cannot get the computer to start. Please advise.

    1. This is a hardware issue and the Hard Drive is faulty
    2. You cannot recover this failure ID unless you replace the Hard drive
    Detailed Explanation:
Whenever you get a message stating that the Short DST Check error with 24 Digit Failure ID "Q0821A-7017LT-XD7WWK-60XX03" that indicates that the Hard Disk Drive requires a replacement to resolve the issue
Could be due to Application or driver conflicts, virus issues, file corruptions due to incompatible applications, improper shutdowns, update failures due to conflicts, sudden power surges, if notebook is dropped etc..
HP will provide a replacement Hard Disk Drive if the Notebook warranty is Active, If not you need buy a SATA Hard Disk Drive from a retail shop nearby
Please make sure you are getting at least equal capacity as the original one in order to use Recovery Disks. If you need you can buy a larger, but not smaller capacity Hard Disk Drive. For example if you have a 500GB Hard Disk Drive you can upgrade it to 750GB Hard Disk Drive but not 320GB Hard Disk Drive
Please try the below shown troubleshooting steps once:
Step 01. Remove the battery and unplug the AC/Power Adapter
Step 02. Press and hold the Power button for more than 30 Seconds
Step 03. Plug in the AC/Power Adapter (leave the Battery out for now)
Step 04. Press the Power button and check if the Unit works normal
If the above mentioned steps does not help, then you can try reseating the Hard Drive on your Notebook
If the issue persists again please Contact HP if your HP Notebook is under warranty, HP would replace the Hard Disk Drive and provide you a Recovery media to restore factory operating system after replacement (if you've not yet created Recovery Discs/USB Media)
Note: Back up all the personal data to an external drive if it's possible. Otherwise you could connect the failed HDD via SATA to USB adapter with another PC or same PC after replacement of HDD & re-installation of OS and try copying /recovering the files.

  • Vmware vsphere health check report v5.1.0

    Hi,
I'm currently using the vmware vsphere health check report v5.1.0 script. I switched from another perl script to this and the report provide much more information. There is one thing that don't seem to work properly though..
I currently have a failed disk in my server and the report is showing "unknown" status next to 3 disk / disk day. If I run the other script I have used in the past, I have 3 alerts in red clearly showing that something has failed. Would any of you know why it's showing as unknown instead of critical in the report?

Thank you for the follow up. I do understand that a completly unreadable disk might throw an unknown status but the status is different from one report than the other. On one side, it clearly shows in red that the disk has something and on the side, it just throws a "I don't know what's going on with the disk". I ran both report the same day and i'm expecting some red in the report to warn me if a disk fail.
Is there a way to change that behavior from the health check script?
