Upgrade issue from 11.5.3300 to 11.5.3700

I currently have Crystal Reports Server 11.5.3300.0, and was looking to upgrade to 11.5.3700.0.  When I login to the support site, I  only see the full download for 11.5.3700.  Is there a Serivce Pack or Fix Pack that will allow the upgrade?

Hi,
For full information on the Crystal Report refer the below link:

  • Flash builder 4.7 upgrade issue from Flash builder 4.5 (key is not valid)

    Hi,
We (Company) are buying Adobe products more than 6-7 years now. We bought the Flash builder premium 4.5 and Flash builder premium 4.5 for PHP volume licence. Now flash builder 4.7 should be complementary upgrade for us. But when we are using Flash builder 4.7 trial version and adding serial number (Flash builder 4.5 serial number), it's just not working and showing a error "key is not valid".
I chat with Adobe customer care 4 different people, they end up saying that let us transfer you to volume licence department and then chat ended. No more chat messages, I checked more than one hour and still no message.
Then I called they, it took 15 mins to connect with customer care. I picked the "upgrade" option from phone menu and then connected with a guy. After listening complete case he forwarded my call to Volume licence executive and the volume licence executive transferred it to some other guy and the other guy redirect it to some specialized person. So total 4 guys. The last guy (specialized) name was Rohit.
This guy Rohit asked me, did I buy a customer support programme (some product about $2.nn.00 )? I said no, we bought volume licenses for Flash builder premium 4.5 ( about $4000.00 ****). He said, sorry sir I can not help you in this, but I can provide you an e-mail address and you can report your concern there. I already passed my 1.5 hour in this conversation. I said okie. He gave me a case number and told me that he will send a email mentioning that email address as per my request I disconnect the phone.
I never get that email address.
Can some one suggest me what to do next. My case number is : 209-788-274.
    My email is: [email protected]
    Thanks,
    Amitabh Arya

I have the same problem, and i have send request complementary upgrade (Adobe® Flash® Builder® 4.7 Complimentary Upgrade), and only received a Acrobat change licensed...
I´m working with 4.7 Beta the last mounths, and now all the days have to see "please enter your license". So one problem that you can jump with money (if you have that money..), isn´t a problem. Like a i have license from flex 3, upgrade to flex 4, and upgrade to flex 4.5, i´m going to take de upgrade from 4 standard to 4.7 standard (47,97 euros), and not waste my time and money on calls. So yes, I'll see adobe with another eyes...

  • Post upgrade issues from Timezone setting

    Everyone,
We just upgraded from 4.5 -> version 6.0 SP1 (so we first upgraded the data to 4.5 WS then to version 6)
After the upgrade, we saw the web service registration to have the send timezone setting to portlet as checked for all the portlets that were upgraded/migrated.
Then after the DB upgrade, we saw some portlets not displaying because of a person's time zone setting. This went a step further and there are users who reported that they can't access the change locale settings page or even add portlets to their page.
A PT spy of the users experience showed this particular error: com.plumtree.portalpages.browsing.portalsettings.localesettings.LocaleSettingsView     LocaleSettingsView::Display An error occured when trying to display the HTML.
System.InvalidCastException: Specified cast is not valid.
    at com.plumtree.portalpages.browsing.portalsettings.localesettings.LocaleSettingsModel.GetTimeZoneSetting() in e:\buildroot\Release\portalui\6.0.x\ptwebui\portalpages\dotnet\prod\src\com\plumtree\portalpages\browsing\portalsettings\localesettings\LocaleSettingsModel.cs:line 192
    at com.plumtree.portalpages.browsing.portalsettings.localesettings.LocaleSettingsView.Display() in e:\buildroot\Release\portalui\6.0.x\ptwebui\portalpages\dotnet\prod\src\com\plumtree\portalpages\browsing\portalsettings\localesettings\LocaleSettingsView.cs:line 59
I noticed that the cast error originates from the GetTimeZoneSetting() method. This led me to believe that some values in the DB were unexpected. True enough, I noticed that for the strTimeZone preference some users has a value of 1/-1 and the PrefValueType is set to 3 (instead of 8). After modifying this we resolve the issue and the users could proceed as normal.
My question is that has anyone else experienced a similar issue(or is this just specific to our environment)? Also is there a list of settings/preference you need to check for data integrity after an upgrade? Thanks!

I experienced an issue similar to this once. I don't know if it was exactly the same because it was a 4.5 to 5.x upgrade done a couple years ago, but it sounds like pretty much the same thing. I also tracked it down to a pref problem in the database. I had to manually fix the bad values, but that resolved the problem, and that was the only problem of that type I encountered. That doesn't mean you won't find anything else strange with your upgrade, but it seemed to be a strange isolated incident to me. I have done many upgrades since that time, and never encountered the problem again. I would suspect that if you have fixed all the database records that were affected by this, then you are probably OK.

  • Upgrade issue from apex 4.0 to 4.1.1

    Dear all expert,
I'm facing an problem on execute sys.dbms_network_acl_admin package after upgrade from apex 4.0 to apex 4.1.1 in Oracle XE 11g R2.
After checking, i found the "XDB.PATH_VIEW" view have compilation error, this cause the sys.dbms_network_acl_admin package failed to compile as well.
My upgrading step as below (apex 4.0 to apex 4.1.1):
    1. Drop apex_040000 user by execute "drop user apex_040000 cascade"
    2. Drop user flows files by execute "drop user flows_files cascade"
    3. I rename existing apex folder (apex 4.0) to apex 2 from c:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server.
    4. I copy apex folder for apex 4.1.1 (download from oracle website) into c:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server.
    5. i start activate apex by execute "@apexins.sql", "@apxldimg.sql" and "@apex_epg_config.sql"
Above are the steps that i used to upgrade my apex 4.0 to apex 4.1.1. "sys.dbms_network_acl_admin" package failed to compile after i run "@apexins.sql".
Can anyone advice on how to solve the problem above or what is the way to upgrade apex 4.0 to apex 4.1.1?
    Thanks a lot in advance!
    Best regards,
    Apex Junior

After the upgrade from APEX 3.0.2 to 4.0.2.00.07, this HTML code is not interpreted anymore, so now the literal text is displayed instead of a white space.
    Is this a known issue???

There are several other threads dealing with this issue. See +{thread:id=2126522}+ for example.

  • CS5 Upgrade Issues from DW8

I have recently upgraded from DW8 to CS5. This occurred when I purchased a new computer with the OS going from XP Pro to Win 7 Ultimate (remained with 32 bit instead of going up to 64 bit). DW8 didn't like the new OS. Now at this stage I am still carrying maintenance out on the DW8 created sites (haven't created any new CS5 ones yet) and I am having trouble with the PVII Menu system which I was forced to upgrade to Version II (to cope with the New Everything) however, more importantly, CS5 will not let me edit the Editable Section of the Template pages  as DW8 used to do (as soon as I click on the Editable area, the whole sheet "greys out" and locks me out). I can disengage the Template, however if I do that I can't reattached the page back to the Template. Are you aware of a work around, because if not, it looks as though I am going to have to waste hours re-creating the page as a CS5 page to overcome this issue. Your comments will be appreciated. Hope you might have a solution. With over sixty pages on one site, I am not looking forward too that I can assure you....:-(
Your assistance and advice would be very much welcomed.
    Kind regards,
    John C

    Hi SE,
    Looks as though Project Seven made an easy $65.00 from me...:-(  I have attached the Code for the index.htm page below which is the page I am having the trouble with;
I have at this point not üpgraded the PVII Menu System on the DWT Template even though I have already installed the Extension into Dreamweaver. I am thinking that I will just ditch the PV V.1 Menu and replace the Menu with PVII on the DWT Template

  • Windows 8.1 Pro upgrade issue (from Windows 8 Pro) on Envy 23 TouchSmart All-In-One...

    Hello,
I have an HP Envy 23 Touchsmart All-In-One that I purchased a year ago (around 12/2012). It came preinstalled with Windows 8.
    System Information:
    a) Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770S CPU @ 3.10 GHz
    b) 8192 MB of RAM
A few weeks after I had bought the system, I upgraded to Windows 8 Pro with Media Center that I purchased through Microsoft's upgrade program.
Last week (10/19/2013), I saw the upgrade option to Windows 8.1 in the store and decided to upgrade.
After a few minutes, I got a prompt asking me to restart the computer and I did.
However, I noticed that the screen went blank, but it really didn't restart - I saw that the hard disk light was still blinking and I waited for around 15 minutes. I know it didn't restart because if it did I would have seen the HP logo on the BIOS screen. A little later, the system went into sleep mode (at least, the power button light was blinking slowly as if it was on sleep). Since it was late at night, I decided to leave the system alone and decided to check on it next morning. Next morning, it was still in sleep mode (as I feared) - when I tried to wake it up from sleep by moving the mouse/hitting the return key, it made the exact sounds as if it was waking up from sleep (as it always does), but the screen was still blank. The power button slight was glowing steadily indicating that it is awake now.
At this point, I decided to power down the system by holding the power button for a few seconds. Upon reboot, I saw the HP logo on the BIOS bootup screen and then the screen went blank and nothing came up.
So I decided to do a system recovery using my Windows 8 recovery CD and powered down the system with the CD in its slot. This time, the system came up and immediately started restoring my OS to a previous version.
Upon logging in to the recovered system, I got the following message:
    "Couldn't update to Windows 8.1
Sorry, we couldn't complete the update to Windows 8.1. We've restored your previous version of Windows to this PC.
    0xC1900101 - 0x40019".
I tried reinstalling Windows 8.1 a couple of times after this. Once by disabling all the non-Microsoft services and disabling all the startup programs. Still the same result.
I don't have any antivirus software on my system other the default Microsoft system protection software.
    Any help, much appreciated.
    Thanks.
    This question was solved.

    Bad news: Still on 8.0
Based on, in every case, the upgraded machine can be: Accessed via admin share c$ from a network device and can NOT be remoted into and the local display is 'illuminated' but not responsive and dark black (BSOD), my GUESS is a screen / display driver is failing on first boot to 8.1
I've reviewed everything on the C: drive with the extension "log" and a date close to the install date/time without success of isolating exactly what is failing.
Hope no one else expends this much time.

  • Upgrading issue from Snow Leopard 10.6.8 to Mountain Lion

    Hello there,
I have a Macbook Pro 15'' which I purchased nearly 2 years ago. I have a dual boot with OS and Windows with boot camp.
PROBLEM: For the past year I have been desperately trying to upgrade my operative system from snow leopard to a later version, without any success.
QUESTION: If I install Mountain Lion on an External Hard Drive, will I be able to use my mac without the external hard drive? Can I use the external hard drive only for the recovery mode? (Refer to point 2) below for more clarification)
    The STORY:
First, I tried to install OS Lion. The error I had was that the OS could not create a recovery partition. The problem is well known in the community, but Apple is ignoring requests of costumers and I tried for several months to ask for a solution by contacting tech support. I did not find a solution and at the end I was mostly ignored.
When OS mountain Lion came out I hoped that the new OS would have solved the problem. I was wrong. I bought the update and I had the same problem.
The OS won't install because it can not create a recovery backup.
The problem is well reported in this post:
    http://www.macworld.com/article/1167870/hands_on_with_mountain_lions_os_x_recove ry_and_internet_recovery.html
I quote the article which says the iussue is due to:"... if you partitioned the drive using Boot Camp Assistant ... the installer won’t be able to create Recovery HD...". In essence, if you used the Apple software Bootcamp to partition the Mac, then any later OS system won't recognize the partition and will refuse to install the update because they can't create a recovery disk.
Now, this won't be a problem with any other OS, because all you need to do is to manually create the partition , while OSX works only in "automatic" mode. This means I can not upgrade my OS
There are two solutions reported in the article:
    1) Back up all your data and Format your hard drive. I actually refuse to do so, ^_^ as I would lose 1-2 days of work just because of the lack of support of Apple
    2) Install OS on a external hard drive
This looks like a neat way out . However, I am afraid I will need to bring this Hard drive with me at all time. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this. I so, I would like to ask if I install OS mountain Lion on that Hard drive, will the external drive be used only for the recovery disk?
    Please, let me know

    Uh uh, I see!
Also it seems I can use my time machine backup:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Migration_Assistant_(Apple)
together with Migration Assistant. This would work. Thanks
Now I need to figure out the Windows part. I need a full backup of Windows as well, with all the programs. In particular I need to be sure I can maintain the graphic card drivers.
You don't want to know how long took for me to find out how the **** I could update my graphic card drivers in Windows on my Macbook pro. Unfortunately there was a lot of misleading propaganda from Apple about bootcamp, saying that the new intel processor would have worked fine with Windows. Sad that everything was a lie. When installing Windows with bootcamp the graphic card program was unable to find and install the graphic card drivers update . Took me 2 weeks reading through thousands of angry posts of disappointed costumers to find out how to do that. I do not want to reapeat this dreadful experience.
After one year and a half with my Macbook pro I have a system I am TERRIFIED to touch. It is very very fragile, and any little change can destroy everything. It barely works. that's why I am so scared to re-install the OS

  • IPhoto '11 upgrade issue from '09

I am running 8.1.2 on my Mac, with OS 10.7.5. I purchased/downloaded Iphoto '11 from App Store and installed. When I do, all the events/pictures are blank (the "shell" of events is there, but all black). I freak out, then restore from Time Machine. What do I need to do differently to upgrade?

apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.
    Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments.  However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

  • Upgrade issues from PSE8.0 to 11.0. will not convert catalog

I have been running PSE 8.0 for some time now with no issues and recently installed PSE 11.  I have been trying for hours to bring my PSE8 catalog into 11 without success.  I have run 'photoshoporganizer' as administrator and gone to manage catalog.  The only catalog it shows is 'My Catalog 2' which has 13 media files (mp3 files as part of software)... it does not find my PSE 8 catalogue with 16,000 photos !  I have clicked on 'find more catalogs' and found my PSE 8 file which I have selected.  I click on convert and am presented with a dialogue box saying 'conversion failed ..... try repairing with the software that created it etc'  I have now run PSE 8 repaired it and it found no errors. tried again... failed.  uninstalled PSE 11.. reinstalled PSE 11... repaired PSE catalog again (no errors !) .. tried to convert and failed !  now getting somewhat frustrated with what should be a simple task.. have I wasted my money on PSE 11.  can anyone help ???
    thanks

Try to take the backup of  the catalog from PSE 8.0 and then restore the same catalog to PSE 11.0

  • Sometimes my computer takes too long to connect to new website. I am running a pretty powerful work program at same time, what is the best solution? Upgrading speed from cable network, is it a hard drive issue? do I need to "clean out" the computer?

Many times my computer takes too long to connect to new website. I have wireless internet (time capsule) and I am running a pretty powerful real time financial work program at same time, what is the best solution? Upgrading speed from cable network? is it a hard drive issue? do I only need to "clean out" the computer? Or all of the above...not to computer saavy.  It is a Macbook Pro  osx 10.6.8 (late 2010).

Almost certainly none of the above!  Try each of the following in this order:
Select 'Reset Safari' from the Safari menu.
Close down Safari;  move <home>/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db to the trash; restart Safari.
Change the DNS servers in your network settings to use the OpenDNS servers: 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220
Turn off DNS pre-fetching by entering the following command in Terminal and restarting Safari:
defaults write com.apple.safari WebKitDNSPrefetchingEnabled -boolean false

  • After upgrade BPC from 7.0 to 7.5 NW we facing issue in Legal consolidation

    Hi
After upgrade BPC from 7.0 to 7.5 NW we facing issue in Legal consolidation where in case of equity knock off the amount is not get balanced even after we run legal consolidation package in group currency.
    Regards

    Hi sandeep ,
Hence the problem was not there with previous versions where the .js files were simply not compressed by default.
    Solution :
I believe switching off javascript compression is a suitable option in this case as the script files are usually cached by the browser as well and will not be transmitted every time.
    Kindly follow these steps:
    1. Enter the J2EE Config tool.
    2. drill down: Global Server Configuration->services->http
    3. on the right hand side, click on NeverCompressed
    4. on the bottom, add at the end: ,*.js
    5. Apply the changes
    6. restart the J2EE.
After this clear the browser cache and then log onto the portal and check if the issue gets resolve
I hope it will useful to you.
    Thanks@ Re grads
