Upgrade issues with regard to LW 8.5 and DB toolkit 1.0.1

Hi!
After I did an upgrade from LW 8.2.1 to LW 8.5 the database toolkit 1.0.1 is not working. The only VI accessable in the menu is the variant to data.vi   and my own developed vi suddenly got a broken arrow and are not executable.
It seems like the other package from the Internet toolkit 6.0 is working, so the DB failure is strange. Do you have any ideas or similar experience, please let me know, I desperatly need to fix this problem.
A

All the toolkits install all screwed up when you have multiple versions of labview on the same PC.  Usually you have to uninstall them and reinstall them or something like that, I forget exactly.  But all the toolkits are totally unmaintained by NI, they have three different types of installers so all the switches are different, and they love to uninstall themselves from 7.1 instead of install themselves on 8.2... stuff like that.  You can get them right if you put some time into it.
By the way, the database toolkit no longer saves variants to a database from labview 8.0 and later.  It looks like it does, but 8.0 and later changed the variant type and the toolkit no longer saves them properly.  If you need to save variants to a database you need to figure out some other way of doing it.

I got 99 problems but 8.6 ain't one.

Recently upgraded to a Canon Mark 3 and now having issues with my RAW files in Bridge and Photoshop. I have operating with CS4. Photoshop produces and error " Could not complete your request because photoshop does not recognize this type of file"

Assuming you mean 5D Mark III, Photoshop CS4 cannot directly open raw files from your camera.
Generally speaking, Adobe stopped updating older versions to be able to read raw files from newer cameras when they released a new major version of Photoshop. Photoshop CS4 is no longer receiving Camera Raw updates.
You can double check this yourself:
First you need to determine whether Adobe has released support for your new camera in your version of Photoshop. To do that, look at these two pages. You'll want to find out the earliest version of Camera Raw that can support your camera, then what version of Photoshop can run that version of Camera Raw.
Camera Raw plug-in | Supported cameras
    Camera Raw-compatible Adobe applications
If you find your camera is supported by your version of Photoshop, you need to download the latest update for Camera Raw. There's more information on how to do that here:
    Keeping Photoshop Up-To-Date
If your version of Photoshop cannot support your camera, you can download and install the latest version of the free Adobe DNG Converter, which can take your raw files as input and put out DNG format files, which your version of Photoshop can open.
Photoshop Help | Digital Negative (DNG)
The DNG converter DOES work, but if you want maximal quality from your raw files (not to mention the convenience and ease of use of directly opening your raw files) you'll want the latest version of Photoshop. Adobe has made substantial improvements in raw conversion quality in recent years.

  • URL issue with Windows 7 Internet Explorer 11 and SAP NW PI 7.

    Hello SAP community,
I am facing a strange issue with Windows 7 - Internet Explorer 11 and SAP NW java services (I hope I am in the correct discussion) ...
When I try to open URL http://sapserver.hosters-name:port it is working so far with Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11.
But when I click than on NWA (example), I am getting "http 500 server error".
I don't have the issue, when I start-up a VMware Workstation with Windows XP and Internet Explorer 8.
But now the strange part: In our network DNS (Domain Name Service), we can also open the URL by http://sapserver.our-dns:port.
Than it is working without problems with Windows 7 and Internet Explorer.
I would agree to state the comment - it is just a Windows 7/Internet Explorer 11 issue, if it wouldn't work for both URLs (http://sapserver.hosters-name:port = problem URL; http://sapserver.our-dsn:port = working).
We are using a SAP NW PI 7.x system. Some URLs for PI are using http://sapserver.hosters-name:port/java service.
Do you have any hints what is cause the issue - I suspect some with Internet Explorer and Firefox (because with Google Chrome at least the URL for NWA is opened, beside the issue, Google Chrome can't display NWA content)?
    Thanks for your help.
    Best regards
    Carlos

    Hi all,
I think I found the solution.
The reason seems to be, the domain name for http://sapserver.our-dns:port, "our-dns" was already added to the compatibility view settings of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
That seemed to be the reason, why it was working with http://sapserver.our-dns:port.
When I now added for http://sapserver.hosters-name:port the domain "hosters-name" to the compatibility view settings it is now working.
Internet Explorer Options => Settings for compatibility view => Add domain

What version of Solman are you using ?  Check in t-code Rz20 >ccms monitor template of satelliate system , there would be option to monitor your outbound mails .You can sutomise your monitorig metrics in solman 7.1  else in 7.01 you use auto reaction methods to monitor .

Hi, I have a refurbished upgraded macbook with 320 GB Disk, 4GB Memory and running Lion OS v 10.7.5.  This satisfies the second part of the requirement for installing OS X Mavericks (10.9) but happens to be an early 2008 piece.  Can I somehow install 10.9?  And why is apple not allowing people like me to try out this installation?  Any reason that are too technical that people like me cannot upgrade and handle?
This would solve many apps to run on this.

It's mainly the video card. The Models 2,1 through 4,1 have video cards with non-upgradeable 32bit drivers. The model 5,1 Late 2008 and newer have at least the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M with 64bit drivers. Mountain Lion and Mavericks require 64bit native drivers. Mountain Lion and Mavericks no longer support Intel's GMA 950 or GMA X3100 graphics processors.
While Lion used some 32 bit and a lot of 64 bit code, Mountain Lion and Mavericks are pure 64 bit, which excludes more systems than Lion did. It's not something you can add memory to, for example, as it involves the base architecture.

  • Solution: iPad/iPhone Login issues with IIS as Reverse Proxy (Android and Windows Phone works)

    Hi,
I had issues with iPad/iPhone access from external and tried a lot. Now I found my solution I like to share.
I setup a IIS on Windows Server 2012 with ARR 2.5 and Android and Windows Phone could login but not iPad and iPhone.
The IIS Log on the reverse proxy showed:
    2013-02-26 12:03:31 <IP> POST /webticket/webticketservice.svc X-ARR-CACHE-HIT=0&X-ARR-LOG-ID=1996c8d7-09d0-4310-8da4-a8dfb7940e28 443 - <ClientIP> Lync%202010/1.6+CFNetwork/609+Darwin/13.0.0 - 401 0 0 124

First Request gets a 401 while anonymous. Second try would be with authentication but it never reached the internal front end server.
After I installed a fix for ARR

    Hi,
This resolved our problem too!! So happy after 2 weeks of messing around with just about every setting recommended from all types of forums and rebuilding our reverse proxy I was at a loose end.
Our environment is Lync 2013 Enterprise, Lync 2013 Edge, IIS as Reverse Proxy on Server 2012 using ARR 2.5
We had Android and Windows clients working but no iOS devices at all. In the iOS log we were seeing
<h1>Server Error</h1></div><div id="content"> <div class="content-container"><fieldset> <h2>502 - Web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server.</h2> <h3>There is a problem with the page you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. When the Web server (while acting as a gateway or proxy) contacted the upstream content server, it received an invalid response from the content server.</h3> </fieldset></div></div></body></html>
When the client was trying to retrieve from the webticketservice.svc

    Installed the HotFix from here:-
Hotfix for Microsoft Application Request Routing Version 2.5 for IIS7 (KB 2732764) (x64)
Rebooted the Reverse Proxy and iOS clients worked straight away for both Lync 2010 and Lync 2013 on both iPhone 5 and iPad both.
I hope this helps others as I was losing the plot :-)

  • EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION issue with regard to OpenGL

EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION issue with OpenGL occurring with the Java SE Runtime Environment 6u17 on Windows 7, 32 & 64 bit platforms.   Version 6u24 and later does not produce the crash. However, we cannot use any other version of JRE other than 6u17 due to customer constraints. The two primary scenarios where crash  (jvm exits) occurs are: 1) toggling between two applications then selecting an image item on screen ( OpenGL rendering takes place)... (Log file: hs_err_pid6568_C2_TC_error.log). Scenario 2: When panning an image (OpenGL rendering takes place) and then clicking a button to load additional image data (OpenGL rendering takes place), crash occurs (Log file: hs_err_pid6036_ENR_TERRAIN_crash.log)
Is there any Oracle documentation noting any JRE fixes between 6u17 and 6u24 that might at least mitigate the issue(s) described above? Or information with regard to issues between JRE's and OpenGL ? Also, if anyone can advise on code mods, etc that we can try toward said mitigation efforts of course would be helpful.
The following snippet hopefully should suffice as general example for both noted issues:

There are some other solutions possible.
    1. Get another driver. The only one known is java only so it wont crash. But is not not free.
    2. Use a proxy driver. That means that another app actually does the database work. If it crashes you just start it again (which you can do in your main code.) That way it won't take down your server. There are commercial jdbc drivers that claim MS Access but are are really just proxy implementations as an option in this area.

  • 7.1.2 Upgrade Issue with 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe

I upgraded my iPhone 5 to iOS 7.1.2 and now it will not work with my 2012 Tahoe via USB connection.  Vehicle has Bose system with navigation.  Previously the display worked with Spotify and any music apps on the phone.  Phone has been rebooted mutiple times.  Vehicle has also been turned off and on.
The strange thing is I also updated to 7.1.2 on my iPad Mini (non retina) and it connects and works as it should.

    Hey ylwdogsc,
I have an article that may help you address this issue and contains some helpful troubleshooting tips for this type of issue:
    iOS: Troubleshooting car stereo connections
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3581
    Troubleshooting tips
    Beginning playback and controlling music
Some car stereos may require that playback be started or controlled from either the device or the stereo. Ensure that your car stereo is set to the proper input for your device. If it is and you cannot hear sound from your car speakers, try switching to your radio and then back to the proper input.
When using adapters to connect to your car stereo, you may notice variations in audio quality. When possible, use a shorter connection to the car stereo or try a different cable or adapter.
    Disconnect and restart
If you are experiencing difficulties with the connection between your stereo and device, disconnect the device, and then power cycle the stereo and your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad. When the Home screen reappears, reconnect your device. If you cannot power cycle the stereo, turn the car off and then back on to allow the stereo to power off.
    Isolate the issue
Try to reproduce the issue with an identical or similar accessory, if one is available, or test with a second device.
Example: If you hear static coming from the left audio channel, try connecting a different device or try connecting to a different stereo or accessory that connects over the same interface (30-pin or Lightning connector, Bluetooth, or headphone jack).
Restore iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you have isolated an issue to the device, restore iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to its factory condition. You should rarely need to use this step with an accessory issue. If the issue affects only a third-party accessory, contact the accessory manufacturer before restoring your iOS device.
If the device does not update successfully, the issue may lie with the device and not with the accessory. See one of the following articles, depending on your device:
    iPhone
    iPad
    iPod touch
Take care, and thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities.

  • Upgrade issue with errors

I recently tried to upgrade my Ipad OS from version 4.3.5 to 5.0.1.  I have the most recent version of iTunes, 10.5.2, and my PC is up-to-date with the Windows XP service pack 3.  It began by backing up the content onto iTunes.  After that it gave me a message saying that the update of the system would erase all data on my iPad.  I figured I was covered as I just backed it up so I clicked ok.  It began updating then after a while it can to a halt with an error message.
As of right now iTunes does not ackowledge the iPad.  When I boot up the iPad all I get is the dreaded iTunes connector image.  I am at an impasse here; for the live of me I can not figure out how to proceed.  Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!  Thanks in advance.

    Hi Markus
    Thanks for your quick answer
Indeed I have checked this logs and I had only one entry for a table
But I don't undersdand why I have all the error regarding support packages (around 100)
And without a clear message to investigate further
    Cheers

  • Lion Upgrade - issue with WiFi Network

I recently upgraded to Lion and now everytime I restart my wireless network (Time Capsule) is not recongized and I must manually select it. I have the same issue with my magic mouse, although it does reconginze my bluetooth keyboard. What can I do to fix the issue?

Yes, same WiFi problem with safe mode. Everything was perfect until the upgrade to Lollipop. Now WiFi speed is 1/10 of before, and phone is slow in general. realy sad, sometimes even whatsapp messages takes minutes to be delivered.
Does anyone know how to select only 5ghz channel for the WiFi on the phone?

  • Issues with regard to images in mailforms the interaction center

    Hi experts,
I'm having issues with the mailforms created in the manager IC role in CRM. When creating mailforms I want to add the logo of our company to the message. Therefore we use the 'insert image' icon. Till that point everything seems fine. However, when this mailform is used receivers receive a red cross where the picture was placed instead of the attached picture.
    Thanks in advance,
    Paul

Hi Sigrid, thanks for your respons!
In my situation the problem is more related to outbound mails. Creating a mailform in the IC manager part of the IC (including an image) goes well, the picture I add in the bottom part (by clicking the insert image icon) of the mail is viewed correctly. When IC email agents open the mailform to use it as a standard reply, they also see the view including the picture. However, the receipants of our mails get a red cross instead of the picture that was added. Do you have an idea how this can be solved?
    Best regards,

  • Solaris 10 update 9 - live upgrade issues with ZFS

    Hi
After doing a live upgrade from Solaris 10 update 8 to Solaris 10 update 9 the alternate boot environment I created is no longer bootable.
I have completed all the pre-upgrade steps like:
    - Installing the latest version of live upgrade from the update 9 ISO.
    - Create and test the new boot environment.
    - Create a sysidcfg file used by the live upgrade that has auto_reg=disable in it.
There is also no errors while creating the boot environment or even when activating it.
Here is the error I get:

  • Upgrade issues with iPhone 5

I just upgraded to the iPhone 5 from the 3g and everything seems fine except that I can't play any of my music. I can see and click on the album, artists, playlists and I can see the songs but I can't click on them. Has anyone else experienced this and do you know how to fix it?

settings - general - reset  - reset network settings - you will need to re enter known wifi password again.
