In SAP note 1299009 there is path to newest SAPUP which I do not find:
Entry by Application Group -> Additional Components -> Upgrade Tools ->
SAPUP UNICODE -> SAPUP 7.02 UNICODE -> 51033520 ERP 6.0 SR3 UC u2013 Upgrade Master Linux on
x86_64 64 bit« is not correct-
beeing so I am in doubt the upgrade export DVD nr 51033501 is also
not correct (as it come from same path.

Referring to the upgrade kit that I have bought few years ago, the Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade Media DVD is Unreadable, since I need a clean installation on my laptop.

The product key you entered appears to be for software that was pre-installed on a device. Please contact the device manufacturer for software recovery options.
So, Please help me to solve this problem asap, as I urgently needed to use it.

First, I would remove the key from your post as if it is usable, someone can now steal it.
Since this is a volunteer only forum, you are better off contacting HP Support directly for help with a usable key.

Upgrade media questions, clean installing, 32-bit to 64-bit, etc.

I have a Lenovo T500 in which I installed a trial version of Windows 7 about a month ago. My trial is going to end soon, 4 days to be exact. I've got all my files in a flash drive and plan and reinstalling the trial version one more time, since the shipment for my upgrade media was delayed for months. I am going to get it when I get back home, on the 18th.
With that said, will I have problems using the upgrade media disc, considering that I don't have a genuine windows key/license installed on the laptop right now?
Can I clean install rather than upgrade?
Will I be able to install 64-bit rather than 32-bit? The upgrade media sent to me is 32-bit because my original lenovo T500 was ordered with 32-bit vista (for whatever reason, when I ordered, the only upgrade option was going from home basic to home premium, with no 64-bit option). If not, is there anyway for me to use some other type of media that I can use my license key from Lenovo to clean install 64-bit?

The upgrade is NOT for the trial version of win 7, it is for vista.
Re-install vista, or restore to factory condition, and then
upgrade.
I think you MAY be able to contact Lenovo or Microsoft
and get 64 bit disk. If it was not offered, maybe not.

XP to WIN7 with WIN VISTA upgrade media

Appears I ordered incorrect upgrade disk for my U330.
The tag on the bottom showed WINDOWS VISTA BUS OEM, actual system on board is XP.PRO, Cn I get away with using the shipped disk WIN7 upgrade media for WIN vistas IF I DO a CLEAN INSTALL, or should I try to purchase an XP to windows7 disk?

You can perform a clean install from a Windows 7 upgrade version however you will have to have a valid previous copy of Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft Windows Vista installed to validate the upgrade and activate the product key. Please note that when migrating from Windows XP to Windows 7 you will not have an "in place upgrade" option. You will however have the option to select "custom" install when prompted. The Windows 7 install process will then copy all of your data in "My Documents" over to a Windows.old folder within Windows 7 itself. All applications and documents stored in other locations will have to be reinstalled / transferred manually.

UCCX Upgrade Media

Could someone please tell me how to go about getting UCCX 7 upgrade media?
I recently got a UCSS contract which should allow me to upgrade but cannot figure out how to get the media. The PUT tool only allows upgrades to version 8.x+.
TAC was no help and told me I needed to buy it? Isn't that what I bought UCSS for?
Anyway, this has been going on for over a year now, if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
I am currently on 5.0.2 and would like to go to 7.x.

as far as I know you can order media kits, for 20-30 dollars if I am not mistaken, but you won't have the licenses.
And as far as I know you can't upgrade to something that has already past its EoL date.

Is UCCX 8.x not an option for you? I mean UCSS is great because you can have all the latest stuff as long as you're at the party.

Upgrade Media list Ehp 4 or ECC 6.0 SR3

Hello All,
We are upgrading to ECC 6.0 with Ehp 4 and have ordered media from SAP. We have received upgrade master, upgrade export of Enhancement package 4 (i.e.) 51036889 and 51036903. Can we proceed with this or should we order for upgrade master and upgrade export of ECC 6.0 SR3 (i.e.) 51033520 and 51033501?
Also I understood that Ehp 4 can be included with patches during upgrade. Please clarify

Hi ... generally when i am doing upgrade of ECC 5.0 to ECC 6.0 ehp4 UNICODE system . i required the followng media.
1) Instmaster
2) Exports
3) Kernel
4) Language dvd's
It depends on you SAP Release, OS & DB.
Our source release is 4.6c
Again is your 4.6c system Unicode or NON-Unicode or MDMP.
based on all this & further requirtments we can download media.

SM 40 upgrade media

I am trying to run the PREPARE for the Sol Man 3.2 to 4.0 upgrade. I have downloaded the media from the swdl OSS alias. Media numbers are:
51031485_1
51031485_2
51031620_1
The PREPARE keeps asking SAP Kernel DVD. As far as I can tell 51031620_1 IS the SAP Kernel DVD. 51031620_1/DVD_NW_2004s_Kernel_Windows__LUNUXX86/LABEL.ASC says "SAP:AKK:700:DVD_KERNEL:SAP Kernel 700:D51031620". I have replaced the SAPup executable and supplied the FIX_CRM50.UPG. Platform is Linux x86_64, database is DB6. Any ideas?

On a similar note to this, we're currently runninging PREPARE for an upgrade of SolMan from 3.1 to 4.0. We've hit an error where SAPup states that 'Package FIX_CRM50 could not be found' in the put directory. We downloaded FIX_CRM50 (and FIX_CRM50SR1 and FIX_CRM50SR2) and extracted them into the put directory.
Now, we we re-run SAPup, we're hit with 'Error -4 during extraction of FIX_CRM50.UPG'. We cannot find anything on OSS which directly relates to this problem. We have tried substituting the FIX_CRM50 file with the CRM50SR1 and SR2 files, but with little joy.
Has anyone encountered this problem before?

I have purchased a Lenovo ThinkPad SL300 2 days back from Dubai Gitex Shopper. One of the reason of buying it from there that I will get free W7 upgrade with it. However, the package has no upgrade bundle also when I tried to register for W7 upgrade kit from www.Lenovo.com/windows7, it asking credit card no and 25euro for shipping!

To get your upgrade disk, you'll need to order it using the process you were following in your note above and pay the shipping fee. The Microsoft product upgrade software is free. Shipping and handling physical media costs everyone.

Zen Micro Firmware Upgrade/Media Probl

Hi, have upgraded the firmware on my Zen Micro to v2.2.02. SInce the upgrade Zen Micro Media Expolrer will no longer work, as it says it in uncompatable with the device. I now have to load songs via MY COMPUTER and it doesnt have the ease of use and functionality of ZMME. Any ideas what I can do? Thanks in advance.

Now I want to downgrade it to WINDOWS 7 using a windows 7 upgrade DVD. Also I have the volume licensing key with me of Windows 7 enterprise edition. Right now , I am willing to install it on ONLY ONE computer.
So, all I need is your help in the installation process .......install now & next steps of installation.

Actually that's where you are wrong, according to Microshaft's website, Windows 8.1 PRO installations have "downgrade rights" BUT ONLY to Win 7 PRO or Win Vista Business (BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA that's a joke)

Sadly this leaves Enterprise/Business editions out of the question...This has been extremely bothersome considering BitLocker is only included in Win 7 Business and higher (Being part of a HIPPA compliant Mental Health Agency this is EXTREMELY important
to our functioning, especially now that TrueCrypt has ended their support and no longer even offers a download that will let you encrypt the system drive! Leaving us fumbling around trying to find a new solution)

You must upgrade your Windows 8.1 Pro to Enterprise Edition (I've been told the upgrade is only 40$ (USD)) then you may Downgrade to Win 7 Enterprise...Still a little bit obnoxious just to downgrade but if you aren't working for a company with 100s of PCs
(Like me) I guess it's not so bad.

Cisco meeting place 8.0 upgrade media download or PUT and upgrade process?

Hello all, I have been given the task to upgrade our cisco meeting place sever version 8.0.1.3 on both the app server and web sever.
We have a valid UCSS and I would like to go to version 8.5 Is this something I can order via PUT or can I download one of the upgrades I see on cisco's website?
Also I'm a little confused on the upgrade process. I've read another post that I have to export the exsisting data then do a fresh install of 8.5 then import the data..... Is this true?

Media Upgrade Crashed - Can't Restart

I recently upgrade to FCPX 10.1.1. When I started FCPX I got a message about needing to upgrade my files - I clicked OK and sat back - then FCPX gave an error message part way through the media upgrade - I didn't look too closely at the error - but it stopped the upgrade part way through. It asked if I wanted to move the old files to trash, I said no, and exited FCPX with the intention of starting again - but I don't seem to be able to.
I've got rid of the new library file and put the events and projects folders back where there were, but FCPX just creates a new empty library and doesn't offer to upgrade media.
I've done some digging and found a reference to using Event Manager X (which I have) to organise media into separate libraries - this seemed like a good idea (given that FCPX crashed on upgrading one of my events or projects) - but I had the same problem - I can use EMX to hide all or most of my projects and events, but the new FCPX ignores everything - whether there's anything unhidden or not.
So I see two ways forward:
how can I get FCPX back to it thinking it is running for the first time (to try and get it to pick up my media in the old file structure again)
is there a way of simply importing into a new FCPX library the events and projects folders from the previous version?
Or if those are both daft approaches - any better ideas please?
