Upgrade OCS last version to record DB

Is it possible to upgrade OCS Content services to Record Database without installing a new Oracle home and be able to use still OCS Workspaces

Hi,
It should be possible to upgrade from OCS to Content DB - per scenario 1 below. But you will need a new Oracle Home. I would file a SR and find out whether there is patch for Oracle Workspaces - as it leverages Web Services of Content Services - and these would be slightly different with Content DB.
Content Services to Content DB Patch 5758001 is available from Metalink.
The patch supports 4 different scenarios:
Scenario 1: "Oracle Content Services 10.1.2.3.x configured along with other Oracle Collaboration Suite 10g components"
This is the case when multiple Oracle Collaboration Suite 10g components are installed. For example, Oracle Content Services is configured along with at least one non-Content Services component that interacts with Oracle Content Services, for example, Oracle Collaborative Portlets, Search and Oracle Workspaces. The Oracle Collaboration Suite 10g installation can be either a single box or a multiple box Applications Tier installation.
Scenario 2: "Only Oracle Content Services 10.1.2.3.x configured"
This is the case when ONLY Oracle Content Services 10.1.2.3 is configured in the Oracle Collaboration Suite 10g installation. None of the other Oracle Collaboration Suite 10g components that interact with Oracle Content Services, for example, Oracle Collaborative Portlets, Search and Oracle Workspaces, are configured. The Oracle Collaboration Suite 10g installation can be either a single box or a multiple box Applications Tier installation.
Scenario 3: "Oracle Content Services 10.1.2 is not configured"
This is the case when Oracle Content Services 10.1.2 is not configured, but other Oracle Collaboration Suite components may be configured. In this scenario, there is no need to apply the Oracle Content Services 10.1.2.3.x to Oracle Content Database 10.2.0.0.0 Upgrade Patch, but it requires some cleanup actions to be done to proceed with a new Oracle Content Database 10.2.0.0.0 installation.
Scenario 4: "Existing Oracle Content Services 10.1.2.3.x installation is to be discarded, and a fresh Oracle Content Database 10.2.0.0.0 installation will be installed "
This is the case when your existing Oracle Content Services 10.1.2.3.x is to be discarded, and you want to move to a fresh Oracle Content Database 10.2.0.0.0 setup. In this scenario, there is no need to apply the Oracle Content Services 10.1.2.3.x to Oracle Content Database 10.2.0.0.0 Upgrade Patch, but it requires some cleanup actions to be done to proceed with a new Oracle Content Database 10.2.0.0.0 installation.

Kindly I have oracle software 11.1.0.6.0 over window 64x need to upgrade to 11.2.0.1.0
Do I need to install upgrade patches?
or
I should uninstall oracle using universal installer then install the last version?
If yes I need to Install patches ... please which patches I need to install
Just Note ( I dont need the databases .. I can drop them)

Do I need to install upgrade patches? You are going from 11.1.0.6.0 to 11.2.0.1.0; means 11.2 is '11g Release 2' - a new release. Patches are only used within a release.

Can I upgrade to Final Cut Studio 7 if my last version is also an upgrade??

I upgraded to Final Cut Pro 4.5 with a version that was for upgrading to FCP 4 from either version 1, 2 or 3.
I no longer have the previous version, just the FCP 4 box/discs and the "upgrade" authorization code on the sticker it came on.
I see that there's an upgrade to Final Cut Studio 7 for around $300 from any previous non-academic version...but what about if the last version is an upgrade too?? It IS the FULL FCP 4.5.
Am I eligible for this discounted upgrade to FC Studio 7? Has anyone done exactly this?

Is it possible to extract from the app/computer the original Retail Serial Number?
With my Final Cut Express 4.0.1 I simply go to HD>Library>Application Support>ProApps and open the FCE System ID in TextEdit in order to have my original FCE 1.0.1 revealed. (The upgrade number of course is displayed on the splash screen and also "About FCE").
However, opening the FCS System ID or the ProAppsSystemID does not reveal any serial number . . . . though my FCS3 is a Full Retail Version. Maybe if it was an upgrade, it might?
Being able to access and save the original reg would be useful for anyone who has lost it since upgrading.
It must be stored somewhere, unless when it was originally installed the computer just registered that it had a suitable number and did not save the specific one.

I started experiencing the battery drain problem after:
I updated to 4.3.4 on my iPhone 4.
Installed the Google+ iPhone app.
I added an Exchange account email access for work.
After this my battery would be down to 10-20% life after 5-6 hours. Prior to this my battery would last for several days without a charge. To resolve the problem I did the following:
Removed my Exchange email account.
Changed the notifications for Google+ to just badges.
Reset network connections.
Turn the phone off then back on.
Please note that I did NOT have to perform a restore from backup.
I'm happy to report that after 3 hours since the last charge, my battery level is still at 100%.
I may try to add my Exchange email account back on the phone, but that may re-introduce the battery drain problem.

The last versions of tp and r3trans executables

I am upgrading the add-ons with saint s-tcode. I have an error message like this:
The import checks of your system showed that the transport tool tp or
R3trans does not have the correct version to import the OCS queue
without errors.
Minimum version of tp: 380.03.74 (in system: 380.03.50)
Version of R3trans from: 09.03.2012 (in system: 26.10.2011)
Install the latest available versions of the transport tools tp and
R3trans (see also SAP Note 19466). Then continue with the import of the
queue.
I have update the solman kernel with the last version (solman kernel version is downloaded with 51033508_8 file). But the versions of tp and r3trans is not still enough.
The new version of my solman system is kernel 720, support package level 114.
Also i downloaded abap kernels from sap portal. I used this kernels executables by replacing the old ones. It didnt work.
How can i upgrade version?

After installing last version 11.0.0.163 itunes crash at startup.

i have a windows 7 64bit notebook with 12GB Ram
i updated Itunes to the last version (before i used 10.7 version )
After the upgrade itunes don't start !
If i double click on the icon
start itype process after few second start ipoint.exe process
and itunes crash

0) Removed SP3.
1) Removed all of the following:
Apple Mobile Device Support
Apple Airport Express
Apple Software Update
Bonjour
Quicktime
iTunes
2) Deleted all remaining folders related to the above apps from c:\Program Files.
3) Ran Norton 360 (2008) registry cleanup.
4) Ran Norton 360 (2008) virus scan (nothing found).
5) Deleted the following folders (Angela is the user account):
c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Apple
c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Apple Computer
c:\Documents and Settings\Angela\Application Data\Apple
c:\Documents and Settings\Angela\Application Data\Apple Computer
c:\Documents and Settings\Angela\Local Settings\Application Data\Apple
c:\Documents and Settings\Angela\Local Settings\Application Data\Apple Computer
6) Rebooted.
7) Downloaded and installed iTunes 7.6.2.
8) Rebooted (just coz I love rebooting).
9) Tried to execute iTunes, get error dialog: "QuickTime Player has encoutered a problem and needs to close."
10) Tried to execute QuickTime, get same dialog.

It does not seem likely that CS6 was upgraded from version 10. You might want to check your purchase history in your Adobe account to see if there is some missing link in the chain of purchases you made.

Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
Note with iTunes 11 an "empty" library may show all your purchases with cloud icons that allow them to be streamed or downloaded from Apple's servers.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!
If, for some inexplicable reason, the media has been removed from your computer see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

There are a lot of benefits to running the latest version of Firefox. You should consider [http://input.mozilla.com/en-US/feedback leaving feedback] for the developers so that they can continue to improve the product. If you are just having trouble finding things, you go to ''Firefox > Options > Menu bar''. This will give you a more familiar feel by enabling all of the menu items you are used to. You should also check out this article on [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/common-questions-after-upgrading-firefox-36 common questions after upgrading]. It will explain all of the UI changes. Everything is still there, it's just been moved around a bit.
If you still want to roll back to a previous version of Firefox, just take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[Installing a previous version of Firefox]].
