Upgrade of OS windows server 2008r2 from without Hyper-v to Hyper-V with out re installing Windows server 2008 R2

I have server with Windows server 2008 R2 Std, in this server, Hyper V feature is not available in Role and Feature in Server Manager, I want to add Hyper V with out re installing OS.
If it is possible Please provide the solution step by step.

I had been having a similar problem on Lion with Safari pdf files despite downloading the latest Adobe Reader XI.
I would constantly get the same messages - There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired. And I would get a blank page when I tried to print the pdf if I tried printing from the Safari web page using File - Print from the top toolbar on my laptop.
Then I came across the grey Safari lozenge with action icons.
This allowed me, without downloading the pdf, to print the pdf file direct from the Safari page by using the Print icon on the grey lozenge that appears centrally three quarters down the screen.
Then I discovered that if I save the pdf using the Save icon from this same grey lozenge on the Safari page I can open and print this pdf version from my desktop.
I've tested it with a couple of different pdf files and these methods work using the grey lozenge icons but the same pdfs files don't work using File - Save As on the Tool Bar.

Thanks for the reply. I went back to check if there was a history in windows (Event Viewer) but could not locate it in Win7. The only updates that were in the Apple Updater window were the Quicktime and ITunes. Had I let the Realplayer continue on its own, it would have installed the Google Chrome and other apps. I let it finish installing and then removed the entire program. I do not remember checking or seeing anything saying that realplayer was being downloaded until after a reboot was requested from the ITunes Update Installer.
I just thought it was strange since I do not use Realplayer and have not downloaded any software for it.
I am on a corporate PC with a pretty thick firewall, but something may have slipped through.

No need to know WHO install it but is it possible to know the Host name that SQL installed in?!
You asked for "who", not for "where".
You can use MS MAP =
Microsoft Assessment and Planning Toolkit : "Software Usage Tracker Feature Overview ....
SQL Server" to get reports, which software is running on which machine.
Or you can use this PowerShell Script
Create Inventory of SQL Server in Network as Html
For both you need permissions to fetch the required information from all machines, of course.

That is an odd message - what exactly are you trying to burn? A disk of mp3 files? a music disc? What burner do you have connected to your computer?

Office 2013 windows 'pop-under' when run as remote apps on Server 2008R2 from Windows 7 clients

We have an environment with Windows 7 clients running Office 2013 via RDS on Windows Server 2008R2.
When users double click emails from Outlook, they 'pop-under', forcing the user to relocate the window which has fallen behind the application's primary window, leaving behind a slight redraw of what is supposed to be the pop-up window. Users also experience
difficulty opening application menu/help items and any other dialogue boxes in any/all of the other Office 2013 apps we've deployed via RDS.
This issue persists only on Win7 PCs (WinXP does not exhibit this behaviour). The RDP clients range from 6.2.92 to 6.1.7601
We have applied the hot-fixes applicable to all of the following KB articles:

Required to take backup with out TSM in PROD server.

I required to take backup with out using TSM .
we have got error in TSM . so that i am getting error .
Prod server backup is working automated through TSM .
now i need to take Online backup with out using TSM like DEV and QA (Manual backup) .
For DEV and QA server backup is manual . i am simply moved the tape to tape library and fired the online backup as well same QA also .
Now my query is reqiured to take backup with out the help of TSM in PROD server . Is it possible ?
2 profiles are configured for Online backup and offline backup .
pls check the below profiles .

Problem with WiFi after installing Windows 7

Hi, i am using a Mac book White(newer model) and recently installed Windows 7 Professional(x86). When running windows 7, the WiFi is not working, meaning that it does not even detect any wireless connections when there are like more than 10 in my area. However, when running the Mac OS, i can connect to my home connection and view the rest of the connections. Now i am being forced to use the wired connection every time i wan to use the internet using the windows 7 OS. I troubleshooted, and they asked me to update my driver. But still it is not working.
Is there a solution to my problem, it is greatly appreciated

I had the same problem last night. Boot into OSX and reboot the router - fine. Boot into Windows and wrong. Here were my fixes:
Firstly, I kept all the settings on my router solid. Just leave them as they are. Boot into OSX and check the Network settings and make a note of your IP address and the router's IP address.
Second, boot into Windows, then open up your wireless connection settings and navigate through to the properties where you can set the IP address.
Third: Set the IP address to your routers IP address changing the last set of digits to a value between 5 and 255 (I have 8 devices so I set the last two digits to 10.) This will keep the IP static.
Tab through the Mask settings to default those.
Then set the default gateway to your router's IP address.
Check that the Network Adapter's setting has IPv6 disabled (uncheck the box)
Finally: Set the primary DNS server to 8.8.8.8 then the secondary to 8.8.4.4 and then reboot the router.
That's what got my connection running.

Windows 7 -How to authenticate to WiFi (home or public) with AnyConnect NAM installed

We are deploying ISE and connecting to the company's WiFi using a "machine" login (active directory laptop) works fine on Windows 7 or 8 - both wired and wireless. But, here is a scenario that I can't seem to find a good answer for. All my searches result in answers for corporate wifi; but not what I need.
So, an employee checks out a laptop to use on a trip. It has AnyConnect 4.0.x VPN and NAM installed (SBL - GINA needs to be added). Windows 8 allows a user who has never used a Win8 laptop to connect to WiFi and authenticate before attempting to login and get their desktop. If the Win 7 or 8 laptop is connecting to a corporate AP, ISE automatically authenticates the "machine" so when they enter their user credentials, they will be logging into the Windows domain (GPO's, drive mappings, etc.). Once a Windows 7 laptop has been authenticated with ISE, it doesn't matter which user logs in, the device will already have a connection. Essentially, the user does not have to log in while within the corporate network in order to get their profile created (locally cached credentials).
But, what if the user has no local profile and tries to use a Windows 7 laptop from their home? They need to be able to connect and authenticate to their home WiFi before AnyConnect can automatically bring up the VPN tunnel. The GINA module will do an SBL for a VPN connection but that's not going to work if they don't have a WiFi connection. This scenario is possible in my environment.
So, can AnyConnect GINA also manage a WiFi login before a user tries to get to a desktop for the first time?
The perfect scenario would be where we hand out emergency laptops to first time users, they connect to whatever WiFi they have access to (non-corporate), the VPN tunnel comes up and when they login, they login into the Windows domain, not locally.

Please take note of the specific processor which is included with your HP Pro 3130 MT.
HP Pro 3130 MT motherboards with specific processors do not have any onboard (integrated) graphics, although they still have the VGA and DVI connectors. This means that although you may remove the PCIe Graphics Card, you will not be able to be able to use a monitor with the onboard VGA or DVI (because there is no integrated graphics). This also means that you will not be able change your bios to onboard graphics (because there is no integrated graphics).

Black Screen with curser When Installing Windows 7 on Mavericks

I have been trying to install windows on my macbook pro via bootcamp all day today, i have put about 7 hours into it and i am very frustrated. I have followed the guides. I have updated my mac, installed the windows support drivers, i have the most recent bootcamp, I have windows 7 on a DVD with a usb optical drive.
So my problem comes when I get to installing windows. after i make the partion on bootcamp it trys to reboot to windows but instead goes to a black screen with curser. i have gone online and read through tons of forums that talk about this exact problem. i have attempted what they suggest such as booting while the usb with the windows support drivers is connected and boot to the windows disk using the option at boot. (Still black screen with curser) I have tried booting to the windows disk with no other external usbs attached but the optical drive. (still black screen). i have tried booting to another disk part of the DVD callled " EFI Boot" that pops up when holding option at boot up. When doing this windows 7 actually does start up and starts the install process but when choosing the bootcamp disk to install to, it says it is the wrong format. so i tried to format it in the windows install as people have said but that did work. But people have also said on other forums that you cant boot windows using the EFi Boot or what ever its called so i dont think that is an option. I have repeatedly deleted the bootcamp partion and tried to partition it again but still get the black screen when booting up.
My mac is a Macbook pro mid 2012. It also is a mavericks whitch i have seen caused many others problems with bootcamp. so i have seen many answers to the black curser screen but none have worked with me. Do you guys have any suggestions or questions for me that would help me get this figured out? Thanks for the Help!

Simple fact is IF you have replaced the original built in DVD drive with a second HDD you will never be able to install Windows on your Mac, or at least not easily.
Apple has restricted Mac computers that originally come with a built in DVD drive to only install Windows from that built in drive When It Is Installed Inside the System.
These Mac's will not boot from the Windows installer from any other source, not USB stick or USB connected DVD drive no matter what make or model DVD drive it is.
So there are only three option.
1) Reinstall the original DVD Super drive in the Optical bay and whatever drive you want Windows install on to the main bay, install OS X on that drive in the main bay then use Boot Camp Assistant to install Windows. Once that has completed you can then switch around the drives to your liking.
2) Reinstall the Super drive to the Optical bay and whatever drive you want Windows install on to the Main bay. Do not install OS X and install Windows natively on the drive in the Main bay. The Windows 7 (and maybe a Win 8) DVD will boot the Mac computer from the DVD drive and you should be able to run the Windows installer, Partition and Format the drive for Windows only, MBR partition table, and complete the install of Windows on that drive. Then load the Apple Supplied Windows Support files you downloaded once Windows has finished the install.
Then move your drives around where you want them and install OS X on the other drive.
3) There are reports of being able to copy the Windows install files to a partition on one of the drives you will be using and then run the Windows setup, installer, from that partition. I have no information on exactly how to do that.

Error with DQS after Installing SQL Server Service Pack 2

When I open the DQS client, I get this error message:
Message Id: VerificationFrameworkVersionNotCompatible
A new version of .NET or Data Quality Services was installed on this machine. In order to continue to work with DQS please run 'DqsInstaller.exe -upgrade'.
However, when I run DQSInstaller.exe, I get this message:
DQS Installer has detected a previous DQS installation under this SQL server instance. Running DQS installer will remove the previous installation, together with all the knowledge stored in it.
Will I lose all my knowledge bases? Is there an upgrade path?

According to your description, when you install SQL Server 2012 Service Pack2, the error of
Data Quality Services (DQS) will occur. The cause is that Product Updates will not update the schema of the DQS catalogs, any related MDS catalogs, and the SQL CLR assemblies kept the DQS catalogs. Therefore, extra steps may be required
if the DQS catalog schema needs to be upgraded, or the DQS CLR assemblies have been upgraded by the product update.
If you have previously run the DQSInstaller.exe to build the DQS_MAIN, DQS_PROJECTS, and DQS_Staging_Data catalogs in one or more of the updated instances, you
may need to continue to do the necessary upgrade steps to upgrade the database schemas, such as launch CMD as Administrator
