Upgrade Only DSL without racking up price
Currently my Dad pays $15/month after a discount for verizon phone and internet. Since the internet is pretty slow I was looking for options to upgrade only the internet. It seems the only thing that I can do is create my own bundle, but whenever I choose about the same service we have now, the price skyrockets up $25 for the same service. This doesn't make sense to me. I just want to increase the internet plan by a level without paying tons more. I guess maybe this was some kind of special deal that we have now? I'm wondering if there is a way to do that?
The discount may be a promotional discount for service. Typically the discounts will be removed if the service plan changes, either due to a bundle change (if phone and DSL are bundled) or when they expire.
Typically going from the lowest DSL plan to the highest plan will run an additional $10/m for at least the first year. Then the price will go up usually an additional $7/m. Removing the $15 discount will cause the price you're seeing.
Try talking to someone in billing to see if they can help find a better deal than what is being offered online. Just be sure to ask questions such as, what is the catch, what is changing, what is the promo price and what will it become after a year.
Otherwise, my advice is to price out Internet service based on how many dollars a single Megabit costs (divide the price by Mbps). If your line supports only 1.5Mbps max, paying $42/m for the Enhanced DSL package is usually silly of FiOS or a Cable provider is around.

You can purchase the Standard version ,and if it does not suit your requirements ,you can return that back to us and opt for the Pro version.There is a 30 day return policy .
The reason being there is a price difference between the Standard and Pro version for Acrobat .

There is none. Whatever you do to get rid of the older versions will inevitably do damage to shared components and other stuff of the new versions as well. That's just how it is with this approach... Uninstall the older versions, run the cleaner tool then reinstall CC 2014.

How can i upgrade Iphone software without having to spend £132 on Mac OS?
I have OS 10.4.11 and want to upgrade my iphone to new sw version but cant as I can only upgrade Itunes to version 9.1.1. on this OS.
Is there any way I can upgrade my Iphone without having the expense of upgrading my Mac OS (I would have to purchase the Mac Box set at £132)?
GIf you have an Intel Mac, all you need is the $29 upgrade disk. Regardless of what you might read or be told, the $29 upgrade disk will install a full copy of SL.

Hey guys, just wondering if there is a way I can upgrade my phone without having to pay full retail price. The new iphone is coming out next month and my contract doesn't end till November 2011 which is practically almost a whole year. Is there a way I can just extend my contract another two years and get the iphone 4 at a discount price or do I basically have to wait? I don't mind extending my contract another two years on top of my 1 year because I don't plan on switching wireless companies, but is there a way that this could work? No you can not. You need to fulfill the contract you willingly signed when you fell in love with your last device. .
Verizon needs to recoup the cost of letting you have a subsidized device, which is why you need to wait.
Now if you are the account owner, have a base plan that is over $49.99 and have been on your contract for 13 months or more.... which you have, you should be eligible for an annual upgrade.
If you log into your online account, click on the HOME tab and see what date is shown for an upgrade. If you are eligible for an annual upgrade, the date will reflect that. -

If you purchased Lion for your iMac, just log into the Mac App Store from your MacBook using the Apple ID under which you purchased Lion and go to the Purchases page. You will be able to download and install Lion there.

The only place you get get Lion is from the Mac App Store. If you found some other site, that was an illegal copy and almost certainly tied to someone else's Apple ID and hence unusable by you. If the link was just to the Mac App Store, see above.
As to the problem with synchronization to iCloud, that's not a 10.6 question, so I'd suggest you take up that specific issue in either the Lion or iCloud forums, providing full details, and someone there can probably help you sort things out.

Everytime I try to update to iOS5 on my iPhone 4 I get an error containing 0xE while it is backing up data from the iPhone before installing the new operating system. I have done everything suggested in Apple support with no success. I still get the error everytime (about 5 minutes into backing up iPhone data). How can I upgrade to iOS5 without losing all the data on my iPhone (the error message says that if I continue I will lose all data on the phone)? If I have already synced the phone before upgrading the OS, would I be able to restore my data after installing the new OS by syncing after the OS upgrade is complete? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I had the same problem today and was able to resolve it without having to do a restore or reset. The problem had something to do with my mail accounts. The upgrade reset my mail settings, switching both my gmail and my .mac mail to "archive all mail". I went into the General Settings, disabled that setting, and resynced the phone. The "other" storage allottment dropped back down to less than a gig.
Before you restore or reset, I would try that first. -

How to upgrade hard drive without resinstalling Mac OS X
Hello everyone. I have a MacBook Pro 17'' with the original 160GB HD but now I want to upgrade my hard drive to a Seagate 500GB. My question is, how can I upgrade the HD without reinstalling and setting up all my stuff again?
Can this be done with TimeMachine and a Time Capsule? Any other option?

Davidyes, this can be done with Time machine. you'll need an external drive (could be a Time capsule or a directly attached drive). make backup of your current system. then replace the hard drive. then boot from the leopard install DVD and use the system restore utility in the utilities menu at the top to restore your old system from the backup onto the new hard drive. note that the new drive should be properly formatted: Mac os extended journaled format with GUID partition scheme. you'll most have to reformat the drive using disk utility first before using the restore utility.
another option is to put your old hard drive into an external hard drive enclosure (USB or firewire), install the new hard drive in the MB, then boot from the external drive and clone it to the new internal. you can use CCCloner or Superduper for cloning. again, reformat the new internal first. or you can clone your internal to an external (if you have a regular external drive but don't have an enclosure), then replace the internal drive, boot from the external and clone it back to the internal.
