Hi Chris,
Thanks for the update.following is our hw details. we dont have any plan to upgrade the HW
HW Platform       : 7825I4
Processors        : 1
Type              : Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU     E8400  @ 3.00GHz
CPU Speed         : 3000
Memory            : 4096 MBytes
Read the document according to that prepared a document. Could you cross check the document whether i missed any thing  to consider the upgradation plan
III. Upgrade considerations
Need to apply the refresh upgrade cop file before doing the actual upgrade for the cucm using 9.1 image.
Sequence for the refresh /upgrade should be
a-Do the refresh upgrade (install the COP file) on the publisher and on the other node( subscriber).
b-Do the upgrade (install the ISO image of the 9.1) on the publisher server then directly do the switch version (utils system switch-version) on the publisher server.
c-Once the switch version is done on the publisher successfully, do the upgrade on the subscriber server and then do a switch version on that subscriber.
B. When we install upgrade software, there will be a temporary node outage while the Cisco Unified Communications Manager software is installed.
C. When we upgrade a cluster we will start by upgrading the publisher node. we can begin upgrading subsequent nodes in parallel after the publisher node reaches a specified point in the upgrade. There will be a temporary node outage until all subscriber nodes get upgraded to the new software version.
d. Disable the Cisco Extension Mobility service by navigating to Cisco Unified Serviceability > Tools > Service Activation
III. Upgrade from CD Rom
Create an upgrade disk by burning the upgrade file that you downloaded onto a DVD as an ISO image.
a.
Insert the new DVD into the disc   drive on the local server that is to be upgraded.
b.
Log in to Cisco Unified Communications   Operating System Administration.
c.
Navigate to Software Upgrades   > Install/Upgrade.
The   Software Installation/Upgrade window displays.
From the Source list, choose DVD.
d.
Enter a slash (/) in the   Directory field.
e.
To use the Email Notification   feature, enter your Email Destination and SMTP Server in the fields provided.
f.
To continue the upgrade process,   click Next.
g.
Choose the upgrade version that   you want to install and click Next.
h.
In the next window, monitor the   progress of the download.
i.
If you want to run the upgraded   software at the completion of the upgrade process and automatically reboot to   the upgraded partition, choose Switch to new version after upgrade. The   system restarts and is running the upgraded software.
j.
If you want to install the   upgrade and then manually switch to the upgraded partition at a later time,   do the following steps:
•a.          Choose Do not switch to new   version after upgrade.
•b.          Click Next
The Upgrade Status window   displays the Upgrade log.
•c.          When the installation completes,   click Finish.
•d.          To restart the system and   activate the upgrade, choose Settings > Version; then, click Switch   Version.
The system restarts running the   upgraded software.
IV. Post-upgrade   tasks
•a.         Enable the Cisco Extension Mobility service by navigating to Cisco Unified Serviceability   > Tools > Service Activation.
•b.         Verify phone functions by making   the following types of calls:
•a.          Voice mail
•b.          Interoffice
•c.          Mobile phone
•d.          Local
•e.          National
•f.           International
•g.          Shared line
c.Test the following   phone features:

    Hello Robert,
Apologies for a delayed response, some days get very hectic.
In CallManager, we only define the SRST reference, and CUCM version and SRST version are independent of each other.
The only thing, which is related and will change with CUCM upgrade is Phone F/w version.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/compat/ccmcompmatr1.pdf
You may just want to check your, phone f/w compatibility with the SRST version running on your ISR G1 Gateways:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps2169/products_device_support_tables_list.html
    For Example: SRST version 7.1
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/voicesw/ps6788/vcallcon/ps2169/data_sheet_c78-520521.html
You may want to do some lab testing with CUCM 9.1 and an SRST supported f/w on your phones.
If you decide to run the old Phone/F/w to support the SRST version, you may not be able to take advantage of new features.
Also, you can try and upgrade your phones(Wih CUCM 9.1) and test them with your SRST version.
It should work fine, but from a troubleshooting perspective, TAC may request you to come into a Cisco Supported combination.
Please, let me know if this clarifies your doubt or we can have a quick phone call.
    Regards
    Amit Singh

    Bob,
Definitely, neither did i say that. There have been some major improvements, since base 12.0.0.So, better we go with 12.0.4 then to 12.0.6 instead of 12.0
I didn't say 11.5.8, i said i tried 11.5.8/11.5.10.2, which implies i tried both but neither worked out for me.It all depends on their env's. I had a SR with Support in fixing autoconfig, it was going front and back for a month and still could figure out what the issue was. Then i said forget it and went on to R12.0 directly. And later patched it to R12.0.6I do remember you did this upgrade, we had many emails discussing some issues with your upgrade, and you ended up with 11i --> 12.0 --> 12.0.4
Frankly, even support had doubts on this. When i raised an SR, stating i'm coming from 11.5.7, the first thing they would do say is : This path is not supported, then i had to point them to the R12.0 upgrade doc. There is no doubt at all when it comes to 12.0.4 as you need to be on 11.5.8 or above, it is clear.
I never said to stop at R12.0, R12.0.6 should be the final destination as of now. I pointed the OP to upgrade to 12.0.4 instead of 12.0 which I believe is the proper upgrade path based on experience with this upgrade.
I only meant to say *11.5.7 can be upgraded to R12.0 directly*
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B34956_01/current/acrobat/r12upg11i.zip
That's right, and I do agree about this. But, I never referred to 12.0, so please try to read my replies again.
    Regards,
    Hussein

  • Upgrading from WebHelp 2002 to Chrome compatible version

I am currently responsible for upgrading a web-based application to be cross browser compatible. This application has a tutorial generated from Robohelp which is displayed using Webhelp 2002, which sits on one of our Linux servers.
Unfortunately this version is not chrome compatible, and therefore the left hand menu does not work in chrome. Is someone able to put me in contact with the person at Adobe who can explain the upgrade process to me?
    Thanks in advance

It sounds like maybe you have a bigger problem than the need to upgrade. Do you only have the output files or do you have the source files as well?
The structure of the folder containing the output files will have various files and folders prefixed wh...
If you don't have the source files you are going to have to recreate them from the output files.
The free way of doing that is described at http://www.robowizard.com/RoboWizard/NewProject.htm#MonthlyScry/062004.htm
and there is quite a bit of work involved in that.
The alternative is a script you can purchase from http://www.wvanweelden.eu and given the time it will save, you may feel it is worth the outlay.
Check with Willam that his script will work with the output files you have. It sounds like they could be from an old version of Rh.

  • Upgrade from ECC 6.0 to higher version

    Hi friends,
We are interested to upgrade our existing version 6.0 to higher one.
I would like to know where I can get the details with advantage over 6.0
    Thanks in advance,
    Jayant Joshi

    Hi Eduardo
I suggest you to look into the corresponding releasestrategy brochure from http://service.sap.com/releasestrategy (large, middle, small customers).
In the upgrade information center (http://service.sap.com/upgrade), you find (...) and an FAQ Document. This document deals with your release combination (4.6c -> ECC 6.0/higher)

  • Upgrading our WLC2100 series

We have a WLC 2100 series controller running on our LAN, its started having alot of problems and needs rebooting every 30 mins before anyone can connect.
We've just noticed the software its running is - 4.0.217.0, to upgrade we need to incrementaly go to version 4.2.176.0 although this doesnt appear to be available for download anymore.
Can we jump straight to version 5.x??

Every 30 mins the WLC would disapear of the LAN and only a reboot would bring it back.

  • Upgrading the current EP 5.0 SP5 version to EP 6.0

    Hi,
We currently have our production portal running with the following configuration.
    1) SAP Enterprise Portal 5.0 SP 5
    2) Oracle DB 8.1.7
    3) SAP J2EE engine 6.20.
we are using 2 servers: one is the EP 5.0 Portal server with SAP J2EE 6.20, and the other is Oracle DB with LDAP server
We want to upgrade the current EP 5.0 SP5 version to EP 6.0. Could you furnish the details for the upgrade and migration with regards to which version to use in EP, the DB version and other softwares required. Also the Hardware required and configuration setup information issues.
    Awaiting a response
    Regards
    Rohan

    Hi john,
Well could u tell me the approx time estimate(in weeks or months would be helpful)that is required to do the following:
    1)Upgrade EP5.0 sp5 to EP5.0 SP6
2)Apply the Hotfix and patch 1 to make it ready for upgrade to Netweaver '04 Stack 14
    4)Install and configure Netweaver '04 Stack 14
3)Complete the migration from EP5.0 SP6 to the new portal using SAP migration tools
The above, is the procedure given in the upgrade guide.
And it tells it is a lengthy time consuming task.
I need to estimate the -TIME FACTOR-(in weeks or months) taken to accomplish the task using 2 consultants, as it is to be used for proposing the upgrade project to my client.
    Awaiting a response
    thanks and regards
    Rohan

  • I just bought iphone 5 and my itunes says I need itunes 10.7 But when I look for upgrades it says I have the current version of itunes. HELP!

I just bought iphone 5 and my itunes says I need itunes 10.7 But when I look for upgrades it says I have the current version of itunes. HELP!

I am so sorry I am frustrating you. This is the first time I have used this community and am leanring as I go. I am not able to see the entire post that you leave, unless I look at it on my phone (email)--I am so sorry. You have no idea how much i appreciate your help. Yes, I see that I can get the later version of OS software, but its not availabe for immediate download. My only options appear to be having it shipped, or going to the store to purchase. And if you know of another way that I can access all of my itunes library music on my new phone withouth using itunes, I would love to hear about it.--thanks and again i am so sorry for frustrating you.

  • My husband and I have upgraded our phones (iPhone 4s and iPhone 5) to the iPhone 5s.  We have given 2 of our kids the "old" phones and want to set them up as an iPod touch.  Both kids have email and need to be able to text (iMessage).

My husband and I have upgraded our phones (iPhone 4s and iPhone 5) to the iPhone 5s.  We have given 2 of our kids the "old" phones and want to set them up as an iPod touch.  Both kids have email and need to be able to text (iMessage).
I have read multiple posts on how to do this and I am still confused.
    Apple ID/ICoud:
We want to be able to monitor what they do, but do not want their devices linked to our emails/contacts/etc...  Each kid has their own email account.  So, from what I have read the best way to do this is to use our family Apple ID, but set them up with a separate iCloud account?  Is this correct?
    Reset/Restore/DFU:
To start fresh we have done multiple factory resets.  I did one that someone said was a DFU and a plan ol' factory reset, etc...  Not sure the difference.  However, when I do that I get the "hello" screen and am able to start setting the phone up anew.  However, when I go to set the phone up as an iPod I end with the same result.
So, here is what I am doing (tell me what I am doing wrong):
    Hello Screen
Asks me to select language and selecting:  English
Select Your Country or Region:  United States
Choose a Wi-Fi Network:  select my home wi-fi network
Enter password:  entered my home wi-fi network password
Activiate iPhone - wants me to enter Apple ID and Passwordsays that this iphone is currently linked to an Apple ID (k*******@gmail.com).  Sign in with the Apple ID that was used to set up this iPhone.
Location Services - I have enabled location services
    Set Up iPhone
    Set Up as New iPhone
    Apple ID
Options are to sign in with your Apple ID or Create a Free Apple ID
Or I could "skip this step"
I signed in with my Apple ID
    Terms and Conditions - Agree
iCloud - I can select either to use iCloud or Don't Use iCloud - I selected use iCloud
Find My iPhone - I can select either to use find my iPhone or to not - I selected use find my iphone
Once I do this it says iMessage and FaceTime and shows the following:
    my email
my other child's cell phone number
and my husband's work phone number
This is where things do not make sense.  I only want the phone set up with the current child's email address.  Where did I go wrong?

There are a number of Apple services: iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud, Game center, Find My iPad, etc.
Now, to share apps, music and books you need to have the same Apple ID:
iPad's Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID > Your purchasing Apple ID.
For the other service, your wife should have her own Apple ID.
All she needs is a valid e-mail address, apply Apple ID below:
    https://appleid.apple.com
Here's a limk with useful tips: Note: It's also valid in IOS 6

  • I had to erase my data to upgrade my iPhone software from an older version. I backed up first, but seem to have lost all my notes.   Does anyone know how retrieve my old notes?

I had to erase my data to upgrade my iPhone software from an older version. I backed up first, but seem to have lost all my notes.   Does anyone know how retrieve my old notes?

Is this the note you are referring to:
Not sure if this can help you.
I checked my notes. They are stored here:
    MacintosHD/Users/MYHOME/Library/Containers/com.apple.notes/Data/Library/CoreData /ExternalRecords/
    xxxxxserie.of.numbers.probably.yours.are.different/IMAPNote/_records/0/
If I go tot this window on finder and enter Time Machine I can go back and find old notes...
If so, am I doing this on my new hard drive on on the time machine? When I do this on the time machine, what is "my home"? Also, I am unable to find "containers".
If I go to users/jeff/library, then I see components, compositions, contextual, etc, but not containers.
    Thanks

  • After upgrading to Yosemite, I had to upgrade my iPhoto, now the full res versions of my images cannot be found.

After upgrading to Yosemite, I had to upgrade my iPhoto, now the full res versions of my images cannot be found.  I had created a book to print (before upgrade) but, after the upgrade the book can't be created as I get the message that images can't be found. However, if I search for the filename I can find the image. I tried repairing library as per support instructions but it hasn't helped. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks.

    Do the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window. Be sure to follow the circled recommendation in the screenshot.
    2 - apply Option #4, Rebuild Database.

  • I have downloaded the two files needed for the upgrade of Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 to version 12 but I cannot open them to make them run and install. What am I supposed to do. One is a very large .7z file just over 1gb in size.

How do I open  up a .7z file just over 1gb in size? I have just downloaded this as an upgrade from Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 to version 12. I cannot see any sign of the Akamai program on my computer that is supposed to open and install the two files that I downloaded.

    Thanks Hans
I don’t mind mountain climbing but anything serious to do with a computer scares me silly.
I installed the 64 bit version of 7zip and once I figured out how to tell the computer to use the right application within that to open the 7zip file, the big file opened and I was able to apply the .exe file to get things going and installed. In the end the default location the installation chose was program files x86 which I think is the 32 bit folder but it all seems to be ok now.
Many thanks again for your response.
    Cheers
