Upgrade pricing

If I were to upgrade from final Cut Express to Final Cut Pro how much would I save as opposed to buying Final Cut Pro up front?

There is no "upgrade from Final Cut Express" available. Prices for Final Cut Studio 2 are located here:

  • Elements 12 to 13 upgrade pricing?

I have Elements package installed on my windows laptop for a while now and love them both?
I bought a new iMac and wanted to install them on it, but I can't.
Apparantly i need to upgrade to Elements 13.
But it appears like there is no upgrade price, just the full price regardless weather you are a current customer or not.
I don't have them very long, and it may well be my fault for not checking the most up to date version when buying it (I bought the boxed version in a store)
    Any suggestions?
    Cheers,
    JJ.

The key to the matter, as I see it, Adobe no longer is selling Premiere Elements 12. So, how can it give you a discount on something that it does no longer sell.
Also consider that upgrade pricing is an Adobe pricing break that does not extend to authorized resellers.
If you have a boxed version of Premiere Elements 12, then you have an installation disc for Windows and another installation disc for Mac.
Typically there is but one purchased serial number that should come with that.  And, you already have it installed and activated on two of your Windows computers. Max allowed by Adobe. So, if you want to get started with Premiere Elements 12 Mac, consider deactivating Premiere Elements 12 on one of the Windows computers.
Then decide what next. Next looks like you purchasing another license with a new serial number for a 3rd computer. There are some online places that still seem to have 12 in stock.
Have you shopped around outside of Adobe for 12 boxed? You may be able to find it at a lower price than what you were looking for from any Adobe's upgrade pricing.
    Please review and consider.

  • Is there upgrade pricing for FCE users?

    Yes. $99.

  • Upgrade scheduled for 1-21-12..could I do it 3 weeks early and still get upgrade pricing?

My upgrade date is 1-21-12..My fiance wants to come on a plan with me and her current contract with another company end on Jan 3. Would I be allowed to get my upgrade pricing a little earlier if I am adding a line and changing plans?
Also, we are not looking at IPhones..actually looking at the LG envision. Anyone have any clue?
    Thanks in advance

You can ask, but probably not.  It depends on if you get a sympathetic rep, and if they say yes, I would upgrade with them immediately.

Each line has its own contract, so you can add your wife and get her a phone now without interfering with your upgrade.

  • How do I get upgrade pricing for Elements 13 if I own Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0?

How do I get upgrade pricing for Elements 13 if I own Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0?

There have been several recent threads where the user is trying to install Premiere Elements 3.0/3.0.2 on Windows 7 64 bit and has been running into MPEG2 Activation message. When the user follows the message to get the MPEG2 Activation, the end message says that the MPEG2 Activation is no longer supported by Adobe and your version. Is that the situation that you are in?
The MPEG2 Activation is one of those first time use/one time only activations that should go on behind the scenes when you have an active Internet connection. Is that the message that you are getting, and do you have a working Internet connection?
The following has worked for a few
    1. If the program is installed in Control Panel/Programs, then uninstall it the usual way.
    2. Do a free ccleaner run through (regular cleaner and registry cleaner) to get rid of leftovers from incomplete uninstalls/reinstalls
    CCleaner - Download
    3. Install Premiere Elements 3.0 with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled
    4. Once Premiere Elements 3.0 is installed, then install the 3.0.2 Update with the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled.
Adobe - Premiere Elements : For Windows : Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0.2 update
Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
    Thank you.

Add On...You may want to include 5. Right click the Premiere Elements 3.0 desktop icon and select and apply Run As Administrator.

  • Upgrade pricing for Master Suite CS5

Over the years and recently, I have purchased the following products:
    1. Dreamweaver, followed by Studio 8
    2. PhotoShop CS, and CS2
    3. Adobe Acrobat Pro (Latest version!)
    4. Flash (Flex) Builder 4 Premium
After having owned all these products, Adobe still wants me to buy a full version of Master Suite CS5, and won't offer the upgrade pricing for it. That seems too harsh, and is honestly discouraging me from purchasing any of their products.
I completely understand that one cannot upgrade to CS5 suites based on a single product. But I have several of their products, and like them. I simply fail to understand why they won't allow upgrades when someone owns legit multiple products. Why would I buy a whole suite and duplicate products. Why not let users upgrade into a suite with multiple (single) products? 3, 4, 5, however many they can figure out would be equitable.
    Thoughts, thanks!

From Studio 8 you can upgrade to the Master Collection for $1,245 at Amazon: http://amzn.to/bgy53K
You won't get a better deal than that.

  • Ugggh - Say it isn't so - changed policy on upgrade pricing on smart phones on basic phone line

I had been waiting until my son's basic / dumb phone line was eligible for an upgrade to purchase the iPhone 5.  People had told me if we bought the iPhone 5 on his line and then re-activate his basic phone line then I could use the phone on my line (thereby keeping my unlimited data).  I've also heard people do this and sell the phone on ebay.  Now, a Verizon rep told me that you have to keep the new phone active on the line for 90 days or else they will charge you back for the full price of the phone.  Grrrr -- it seems like they closed this loophole.  Can anyone confirm or deny it with a link to where it says this in the Verizon 'fine print' on the website (I can't seem to find it)?  I'm really disappointed!

    MichelleLong wrote:
It was a corporate store.  I hadn't heard that before which is why I posted the question.  I wondered if Verizon had closed the loophole on getting upgrade pricing and switching the phone to another line to keep the unlimited data.
It may have been a Verizon "authorized reseller" which is NOT a corporate Verizon store - places like the mall kiosks or storefronts that look very "Verizon" may be a reseller.  You need to check the Store locator to be sure which are, in fact, corporate stores.
And for the record, the "loophole" (which really isn't a loophole at all, it's always been available) that allows you to upgrade one line and use the phone on another (upgrade transfer, buddy upgrade, whatever you want to call it) is still in place; there are no 90-day restrictions.  If the store you are dealing with is telling you that you need to keep the phone active on the line for 90-days or face penalties, then it is NOT a Verizon corporate store.

  • Upgrade Pricing for Creative Cloud Accounts?

Is there upgrade pricing for those with the entry level account coming with a Creative Cloud account? I'd liek to get at least to the level allowing the blog module.

  • Upgrade Pricing for Photoshop Elements to Photoshop CC

It would be great if Adobe offered upgrade pricing from Photoshop Elements to Photoshop CC at $9.99/month, just like the offer to those using CS3 or higher.  I would like to have the ability to be able to really put Photoshop CC though its paces to make sure that at $19.99/month in the future is worth the investment.

Does anyone from Adobe care to respond?

  • DSL Upgrade Pricing

I thought I would buy the starter plan to test Verizon DSL to see if the service would work decently for me. Ok, so it does reasonably well. Cool. I figured if everything went okay, I would just upgrade the speed level.
But now the upgrade price is $47/mo for 3M! Is there any way I can get the $30/mo price? For that much I might as well just go back to cable.

This is a peer support forum. For such thins as pricing you need to contact Verizon directly.

  • CC upgrade pricing from CS6

The CC "Update Wizard" doesn't see my CS6 license (NOT Educational or NFR -- upgraded June 2012 through a reseller).  Yeah - I waited 'til the last minute for the $19.95 deal.  The "Mr Products" page has a pretty good record of my upgrade history from 2001 or so ... no CS6. Attempting to register the CS6 Prod. Premium suite (with my serial number obtained from Adobe's LWS *licensing.adobe.com*) results in a prompt to 'Enter a Valid Serial Number.'   Any ideas?

The serial number of CS6 Production premiuim that you have obtaine from Adobe LWS(licensing.adobe.com) does not qualify for special offer price. I have cited the  documentation of special pricing for cc

  • I have PSE 8, would like to upgrade to PSE 12, is there a upgrade pricing

I already have PSE 8, would like to upgrade to PSE 12, is there a upgrade price?

Yes, but it's usually not a good deal. If you look around at big box stores and online retailers you can usually find the full version for much less than adobe's upgrade price.

  • ATT to give 3G users early upgrade pricing after all!!!

From Walt Mossberg's review of the 3GS:
"But AT&T, stung by criticism in recent days, has just decided to offer the lower, new-customer prices at launch to iPhone 3G owners eligible for upgrades at any time up to Sept. 30 of this year, even if they were originally told they’d have to pay the $200 premium."
Now, I just checked my status on Apple's web site and called ATT and they both still report that I am now eligible until 7/12, but the rep said that maybe the decision just hasn't been implemented in their system yet. OR, Walt could be wrong, but he's usually on top of this sort of thing.
I would suggest that people start calling ATT and spreading the word for others to do so. That may spur ATT to release something official.

    i understand that at&t is eating up half the cost of the phone just like any other phone price. but maybe they should start a policy where your contract is extended instead of renewed to 2 years. for example;
-my iPhone is 6 months old. so no full upgrade
-they give you a discount because you are starting a new contract for 2 years.
-instead of starting a new contract, extend me so i will be locked in to At&t for a total of 3 1/2
that's a long time for at&t but it s**ks for people like me that did not know i could have waited a few more months and gotten a better product.

  • ARD 3 Announced - anyone find upgrade pricing

[ Edited by Apple Discussions Moderator; Please start a new topic about your technical issue. ]
It appears there is no discount for current owners. Anyone see any different information?

So, does anyone from Apple spend the time to read these discussions? Let’s see!
On February 20, 2006 I ordered an Intel Mac (MacBook Pro) and ARD (2.2 unlimited client version). The purpose for ordering both at the same time was to load ARD onto the MacBook Pro, thus allowing me to transition into my planned semi-retirement. Of course at the time I ordered the MacBook and ARD there was NO indication that ARD 2.2 was not going to run properly under Rosetta. After receiving the MacBook and spending several weeks trying to understand what was wrong with ARD I learned that ARD would not run under Rosetta (however there is now a marginally effective workaround). Certainly, it is only reasonable to allow persons who purchased ARD and an Intel Mac to upgrade to ARD 3, the ARD version that is compatible with the Intel processor.
