Upgrade Ram 4GB DDR3 -1600 MHz

HI Friends
I am using HP G62-361TX Laptop , can i upgarde RAM to 4GB DDR3 with 1600 MHz
This question was solved.

@ramkutti
as Paul has said if the module is backward compatible there is no issue in putting a 1333 or even 1600 except that it's mere waste of money , that's all , with no improvement in performance. so put two 2GB DDR3 1066MHz RAM in the two slots which can act as dual channel than one 4GB direct single channel upgrade.

Flash Player won’t install after downloading
On the first attempt to install v14, Flash Player v13 was installed and working fine.
I opened the installation package for the new Flash Player, followed standard protocol for installing Mac software and it hung before retrieving anything.
Subsequently, while watching the beach ball spin, I got an error message that the installer could not retrieve the v13 Flash Player software.
So I uninstalled Flash Player 13 and again attempted to install v14, only to see the spinning beach ball followed by a message that the installer could not retrieve the v14 Flash Player software.
    I am running OS X v10.9.4 on an early 2013 MBP/Retina display with 3GHz Intel Core i7 processor and 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz Ram.
If you have any ideas or suggestions regarding my issue, please let me know.
    Sincerely.

  • Ddr3 1600 mhz on p35 neo combo

    Hi all,
I have bought kingston 1,65 1600 speed RAM, but i only I only get black screen at start up, 1x2 gb. I can't up voltage in BIOS on ddr3 RAM as I can't boot. I run ddr 2 no myw. Can I somehow make it work? My psu is 650 watt

    Quote
I know my motherboard only supports up to pc-10600(1333)
Actually, the P35 chipset does not support more than DDR3-1066.
    Quote
take a look at this link:
Yeah, well, the fact that those modules work for that user does not mean that different modules will work for you.  The native maximum is DDR3-1066.  When you go for DDR3-1600 in spite of the specification limitation, then you are gambling.  It will either work or it won't.  In your case it obviously doesn't work.

  • Upgrade RAM 4GB - 8GB

    Hi,
I currently have a Late 2009 2.8GHz Quad Core i7 iMac with 4GB RAM(2x2GB). I am noticing slow performance when using applications such as Aperture, Photoshop and Illustrator. If I upgrade to 8GB (add 2 more 2GB modules), will it be enough to run those apps smoothly? Or do I need to go up to 12GB (add 2x4GB). I would be grateful to hear from anyone who has done these upgrades.
    Thanks!

    Your welcome!
    {quote:}Do you have experience using an iMac with 12GB ram installed?{quote}
Only from what others have shared here in the forum.
Currently 12GB seems to be the optimum upgrade, while 8GB may actually be enough today it may not be down the road and many folks are experiencing problems with the full 16GB upgrade.
    {quote:}Do you think it would be able to run the above apps easily?{quote}
    Yes

  • MIG : K7 - DDR3 - 1600 MHz - IBIS Model for addr/cmd with VccAux = 2.0V

    Hi everybody !
I have a problem in the generation of my IBIS file...
I'm using Vivado 2015.1 and MIG v2.3. My FPGA is xc7k325tffg900-2.
In the xdc file (generated by the MIG), I have this type of constraint for all of my address and control signals :
    # PadFunction: IO_L8P_T1_33
    set_property VCCAUX_IO HIGH [get_ports {ddr3_addr[0]}]
    set_property SLEW FAST [get_ports {ddr3_addr[0]}]
    set_property IOSTANDARD SSTL15 [get_ports {ddr3_addr[0]}]
    set_property PACKAGE_PIN AC12 [get_ports {ddr3_addr[0]}]
It therefore seems logical to me that when I try to generate my IBIS file, it tries to find the SSTL15_F_AUX20_HP model for these signals. But this model does not exist !!!
    Two questions :
Is it normal to have the property "VCCAUX_IO HIGH" for cmd/addr signals ?
Can I use SSTL15_F_HP model (which exists) instead ?
    Many Thanks
    Arnaud

    Hi Vinay,
Thanks for the answer ! It seemed logical to me but I wanted to make sure.
In that case, why the SSTL15_F_AUX20_HP model is not defined in the Xilinx IBIS file for the Kintex-7 ?
Electrical standard is SSTL15 (DDR3), my slew is Fast, we are in HP bank and my VccAux_IO = 2.0V.
And if the SSTL15_F_AUX20_HP model is equivalent to the SSTL15_F_HP so the VCCAUX_IO HIGH property has no effect ...
I can not believe I'm the only one to ask ...

  • HP Probook 4540s upgrading RAM

    Hi,
I would like to upgrade my memory (4GBs are not enough in theese days) for probook 4540s
Now, I have 1 module with theese specifications:
    CPU-Z:
    DIMM #                1
        SMBus address        0x52
        Memory type        DDR3
        Module format        SO-DIMM
        Manufacturer (ID)    Hyundai Electronics (AD000000000000000000)
        Size            4096 MBytes
        Max bandwidth        PC3-12800 (800 MHz)
        Part number        HMT351S6CFR8C-PB
        Serial number         (Personal information removed)
        Manufacturing date    Week 38/Year 12
        Number of banks        8
        Nominal Voltage        1.50 Volts
    Question is:
Can I add newer model to the second slot?
    I want to buy:
    HP SO-DIMM 4GB DDR3 1600 MHz Unbuffered
    Certificated for PC3-12800 (B4U39AA)
It seems, the new model of ram module should be compatible with my notebook, but will be compatible with my old module, while working on 2x higher frequency?
Or I have to buy 2 new modules and  replace the old too?
Or I missed something and it is not compatible in any way?
Also, I have red at other forums, that upgrading memory up to supported 16GB takes some performance issues. Is it still ture, or is this already fixed?
    Thanks for answer

    Hi ,
The model supports the following specification of memory.
    Standard
    DDR3 PC3-10600 SDRAM (1333 MHz)
Two SODIMM slots supporting dual-channel memory.
    2GB and 4GB SODIMMs
    Maximum
Upgradeable to 8192MB with optional 4096MB SODIMMs in slots 1 and 2.
    Dual-channel
Maximized dual-channel performance requires SODIMMs of the same size and speed in both memory slots.

  • MSI P55-GD80 - G. Skill Ripjaws 2x2GB DDR3 1600 runs at 1333 MHz only

I just bought my Core i5 setup yesterday. I'm satisfied with its performance.
The problem is that I can only run my G. Skill Ripjaws 2x2GB DDR3 1600 at 1333 MHz. I checked the Cell Menu. The highest DRAM ratio is 5. Setting it at 5 makes it run at 1333 MHz only
I have read the manual of my MSI P55-GD80. It states that it supports DDR3 1600 MHz
How can I run my DDR3 memory at 1600 MHz? BIOS update?
My current BIOS version is 1.4

Quote from: cdcellular on 27-October-09, 17:43:29
I lowered my muliplier to 13 (200x13) to acheive 2.6ghz on the processor, but, at this setting now the processor is running 10-15c hotter then at the 133x20 default setting, and yes im using aftermarket cooling.  Why the extra heat at the same clock frequency?
You must set the CPU and VTT Voltage lower.
Example for 2600Mhz(200x13) CPU-Mhz and very low temperatures ->
      In CellMenue:
    - Load Optimized defaults
    - First u must set LoadlineCalibration in Bios to disabled ! ... in the next bios generations it calls Vdroopcontrol(set to LowVdroopcontrol)
    - Turbo disabled
    - Try VTT from 1,2V to 1,351 V- For higher BCLK(200..stock is 133) u need higher VTT-VOLTAGE as stock (lower VTT lower temps for the memory controler) ..use later the lowest possible VTT-VOLTAGE when u make any stability tests
    - BLCK 200 x CPU Multiplier 13 = about CPU 2600Mhz ...RAM u can use now @ 2000Mhz with memory multiplier 5
    - Now set the lowest possible CPU-Voltage in bios for stable usage with your own CPU! Thats the trick.Undervolting the CPU for lower temps an power consumption as stock !
    - Try 1V to 1,024V CPU Voltage in bios for 2,6Ghz(good choice for the newest I5/7 ). Howto->  https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=127944.0
Use programs like Linx 0.6.4 to test the stability of your Sys. Howto and download--> http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=201670
Now u see temps are down (normal usage SYS). Lower CPU-VCore and VTT lower temps. Higher CPU-VCore and VTT higher temps.
    My CPU:
My I5-750 runs with 1,012V CPU-Voltage bios setting @ 2,8Ghz on P55-GD80. Stock the CPU has 1,264V VCore.
Now I have 25-30watts less vs stock(full LOAD SYS)  and very, very low temps - IDLE and LOAD usage .
Be sure that the 4 first GreenPower settings are @ AUTO.

  • Upgraded RAM and Changed HD to SSD: Computer Crashing

Hi guys, I have a 2013 MBP that I recently upgraded with 16 gigs of RAM and an SSD. Both pieces of hardware, I was careful to make sure were compatible with my computer. Ever since installing them, though, I have been experiencing consistent crashing that seems to happen most regularly when the computer awakes from sleep mode or when I unplug or plug in the charger. I ran a memtest, and it stated everything was fine. Debugged the hd.
This is the error report that I am receiving after recovering from a crash:
Any chance I could get some help with this issue? Thanks for reading guys!

In view of the changes you have made, I suggest that you reinstall the original RAM and see if there is a change.  If not, then the SSD should be substituted for the original HDD.  Kernel panics are often attributable to hardware issues.
Also run an Apple hardware Test which may provide a clue.

Note that an error free AHT is not definitive.
    Ciao.

  • Portege R930: DDR3-1600 SDRAM Low voltage (1,35) or standard voltage 1,5

    Hi again,
Just wanted to know if the two sorts of DDR3-1600 SDRAM RAMs (one is called low voltage memory) that are available on the market are compatible with my Portege R930 i7 Toshiba?
    Thanks!!
    Regards
    /Anders

Just as additional info: for RAM upgrade you can use follow compatible RAM modules
    4GB DDR3-1600 - PA5037U-1M4G
    8GB DDR3-1600 - PA5037U-1M8G

  • MacBook Pro upgrade RAM info needed

i need to upgrade the RAM on my macbook pro 15" i bought october 2011.
the guide on the apple  support page says - PC3-12800 DDR3 1600 MHz type RAM
my computer says - BANK 0/DIMM0:   Size: 2 GB   Type: DDR3   Speed: 1067 MHz   Status: OK   Manufacturer: 0x80AD   Part Number: 0x484D54313235533654465238432D47372020   Serial Number: 0x2CC1E794
i went to amazon and just couldn't find a product that matched ALL the numbers.
SO i pasted the part number into the search box. that didn't work.
    is this the correct kit? Crucial 8GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR3 1600 MT/s (PC3 - 12800) CL11 SODIMM 204-Pin 1.35V/1.5V Notebook Memory Modules CT2KIT51264BF160B
i know it is probably a lot to ask, but could someone just post a link to the best RAM i am supposed to buy if the one i listed above is not the correct product. or should i just drive down to the apple store with the computer and ask them? heck, maybe just let them do it. thanks!

  • I upgraded RAM to 16gb in my i7 mid 2011 mac mini and it shuts down at night

I have a mid 2011 mac mini i7.  Below are the specs on memory, hardware, and solid state.  I also have Yosemite installed - everything is current. version 10.10.2
I've had 8gb installed since I bought it.  And I just purchased 2 sticks of Crucial RAM 8gbx2.
Everything is fine but when I go to bed and wake in the morning, the system will not wake-up.  I have fresh batteries in the keyboard and mouse.  The system mini is warm on top - not cold or hot.  So it does not seem asleep.  I have pressed the button on the mac mini once and thought it was alseep...nothing happens.  I just can't get it back up after it seems asleep at night.
The only way I can get the system going again is pulling the power plug.  This has happened each night since installing the RAM.  Oh, I also have held the power button down for 5 seconds trying to do a hard reset.  Nothing
I was really excited to get the system up and running with 16gb but hate trouble.  I am not a tech expert....
I have not changed any settings.  And if it was asleep, why isn't it waking?
Does anyone have any ideas here?

    Thank you for your help.
I did both resets you offer in the link above and then I went to bed last night.
In the morning, when I hit the keyboard, it paused and came to light....and said there was a problem and it automatically reset and re-booted from a blank screen (not main screen).  This was the screen after the reboot.  The full error info is listed below the image.

I don't see any DDR3L on the page for the RAM that would fit your model -> http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/Apple_MacBook_MacBook_Pro/Upgrade/DDR3_133 3MHz_SDRAM.
But the answer is that it doesn't really matter - just make certain to get 1333MHz.
    Good luck,
