Upgrade Reader XI with annual subscription to convert PDFs

I just bought the annual subscription to convert PDFs.
There is a box that appears on my right toolbox that grants me unlimited conversions.
I logged out and logged back in and the box is still there.
The listings on the box are:
PAID ACCOUNT
12 months of unlimited conversions
PDF to Word Format
PDF to Excel Format
Sign up Now
When I click on the sign up now, it just routes me back to the initial select to purchase your option.
And the convert to screen remains whited out.
Thanks.

What is your subscription for: Adobe PDF Pack?
Why do you click on 'Sign up Now' when you have already purchased the subscription?

If you just mean, can I close it, sure. In Reader XI click the Tools button to close or reopen it.

  • Upgrade Path from DW Annual Subscription to CS Cloud?

We currently use CS4 Web Premium.
Would like to purchase the Dreamweaver CS5.5 subscription for annual pricing.
However, once CS Cloud is available, we really want to move to that.
Problem is, if we lock into a year with CS5.5, we don't want to have to wait to fulfull that commitment until moving to cloud.
So, question is, will we be able to move/upgrade from Dreamweaver annual subscription to CS Cloud subscription, or put another way, will we be able to cancel our Dreamweaver annual subscription and subscribe to an annual CS Cloud subscription?

Things are all up in the air right now after the backlash against the Cloud and "upgrade or else" policy that Adobe tried to instate.  I don't even know if Adobe has the answer at this point but this is a question best answered by their sales team and not in a user-to-user forum.  I'd recommend giving them a call.

    Hi David,
I just took a peek at your account, and it looks like all is in order. What happens when you go directly to https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf and sign in with your Adobe ID and password?
Please let us know how it goes.

  • Cost of subscription to convert PDFs to other file formats

I have an infrequent use for this feature, so I'd like to find the cost before I subscribe.  I've been unable to find out via internet searches but no luck.  Does anyone know, or know how to contact Adobe to find out?

If you're asking about Adobe's CreatePDF service that also allows conversion of PDF to Word and Excel formats, see: https://www.acrobat.com/createpdf/en/home.html

  • Convert pdf to txt - I must buy Adobe Reader ?

I have pdf files which have text saved as images and I cannot copy this text to clipboard. If I buy Adobe Reader I will be able to convert pdf file to txt version ?
    Thanks

If the text is images (like in a scanned document), first you would need something like Adobe Acrobat to convert the scan to editable text. Then you would need something to convert it to an editable file (such as a Word or text document) which, Acrobat can also do.
But Reader is basically worthless for any of this.

  • Converting PDF to JPG using Acrobat XI Standard

I know I can convert a PDF into a JPG using Acrobat Pro but I'm wondering if I can do the same using Acrobat XI Standard.  The only thing I've read online is that Standard can convert PDFs into Excel, Word or Power Point docs.

Yes, you can do this with Acrobat XI Standard. The only export feature that is not available in Std. is the ability to convert to PowerPoint.

  • Converting .pdf files to Word in Pro v9 for Mac

I have just purchased a copy of Acrobat Pro v9 for Mac with the idea of converting .pdf files to word documents in the correct format and for editing.  When I attempt to export a .pdf file to Word (2008) or save as a Word doc or docx file, the file doesn't open and my Word program freezes.  To unfreeze, I need for force quit Word and begin again.  I was told that pdf to word could be done in this version of Acrobat.  Has anyone had this experience?

What type Document, was it to begin with? (Text/Image)
If the PDF was a Text document, you should be able to with no problem?
IF text based and converted, try opening word first then open the document.
There is a format that Word will read called RTF (Rich Text File), that Word can read.
Try converting to RTF then try opening. When opened then save as DOC or DOCX
If it was created from a scan, Word my not open it, because it is an image (a Big Picture).
Finally, if it has a lot of images, they may not do right, and may cause a lot of  problems.

Adobe Reader does not allow you to convert PDF' .It is a software meant to view PDF' only whereas Acrobat is meant to view and edit PDF'.
If you need Adobe Reader refer the following link .Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions

  • My annual subscription to FormsCentral that is expiring and I can only renew with another annual rate, how do I switch to monthly?

I want to renew and keep using the FormsCentral until I can transition to another service in the coming months, but I can't change my subscription to month-to-month, it is only letting me renew the annual subscription - which ends in June. Will I get a refund for the 8 unused months?

Thanks, Lawrence. I figured that was what I was going to have to do in the end. I have a few games with quite a few hours invested, and I worry that I'll lose the progress I have as they do not save to the cloud. I may have to bite the bullet, and just take the plunge to resolve this. I just want a way to easily transfer my "Home Computer" for my iPhone. My laptop is years old and in need of being replaced, and it's about time to upgrade my phone. These life events piling up are making me consider switching to a friendlier OS. I'm not using this as a threat. I just hope some apple high up will read this, and realize that we need alternatives. Life happens.
Thank you both Paul and Lawrence. I clicked "This helped me" not knowing it would remove the option to choose "This fixed my problem" too. For anyone else reading this thread. Using the guide provided has done both. It has helped me and given me a fix to my current problem. Lawrence has also provided me with the last bit of information I feel is missing from wjosten's guide. That syncing will completely erase all of your data and reinstall it in one fell swoop. It's a great fix. Even if it isn't the exact one I wanted. Thank you again!
