Upgrade Secure Central repository to NON Secure central

Hello Everyone,
Is it possible to to upgrade from a secure central repository to an non secure central repository?
When I try to upgrade the SECURE central repository to NON SECURE in the Data Service Repository Manager.
I met the error message below:
It is not allowed to upgrade from a secure central repository to an non secure central repository. (BODI-300081)

It is not possible to upgrade as "Dirk" suggested but also need to understand that you cannot login in Secure Central repository, Only way is move all data in local repository then move secure central repository.

I've had problems with the installation of version 9.0 PL04 (base) when trying to enter the base DemoUS, this system message I get: Unable to connect to companies in current server as algorithm is not update; run common upgrade security algorithm.
Please someone has an idea how to fix (attached image of the message).

Try this:
1. Check if the SBO-Common database exist. If you cannot find SBO-Common database you must re-install SBO system on the server.
2. If the SBO-Common database exists, then SAP Business One application version is higher than the SBO-Common database version. Perform version upgrade.

Upgrade 6.0 repository to 10g

How's the best way to accomplish the repository upgrade ?
I also have a 9i repository into which the 6.0 needs to be merged into at sometime...

It is easy to see what version of the repository you have. Start any of the Designer client tools, connect to your repository, and choose the "Help" menu. Then choose "About". The Component labeled "Configuration" will be your Repository version. For a more detailed look, press the "System Info..." button. But if it is accessible with a 9i client, it is probably the version of the repository that goes with a 9i client - client and repository are very closely coupled - only the RAU can usually connect to a repository that doesn't match the client.
If you use RAU from 9i to look at your current repository, if the "Upgrade" button is grayed out, then RAU believes that your current repository is in fact the correct version for your 9i client. If so, do yourself a favor: Use "Check Requirements" and make sure that the EXECUTE_EXPORT parameter is pointed at the "exp" utility for the database version in which the repository is installed. If you don't have client software for this database, get it and install it in a separate Oracle Home. Then use the "Export" button in RAU to back up your repository.
If you connect to the current repository with your 10g client's RAU, that "Upgrade" button should be active, meaning that RAU is ready and able to upgrade that repository to the version that is compatible with your 10g client. Don't do that yet. First, you want to make a good backup of your current repository.
Now you have a decision to make. You say that you made a new repository instance on a 10g database. I don't think you really want or need a new repository. What you really want to do is upgrade your current repository. So I would go ahead and drop your new repository owner with the "CASCADE" option, to give yourself a clean slate. Now do you want to upgrade in place, or do you really want to move your repository to a new database? If you want to move to a new database, I would export the repository owner schema with "exp" outside of Designer using the "exp" version that matches the original database, then import it using the "imp" version that goes with the new database.
There is one problem that you may encounter when you do this. Later versions of the repository have four collection types created with the "CREATE TYPE" command - JR_NUM_LIST, JR_STR_LIST, SDD_ACC_PRIV_LIST, and SDD_SYS_PRIV_LIST. Object types have an associated object ID, that some versions of "exp" do not export properly. On import, the objects get created with a new object ID, yet when the data is imported, Oracle won't import it because the new object ID doesn't match the ID of the data being imported. The solution is to pre-create the schema for your repository owner, and pre-create these objects using the OID clause with the object ids that they had in the old repository. Then import with the "ignore errors" option.
Finally, connect to your repository with the 10g version of RAU and press the Upgrade button. Good luck, and let us know how it turns out.

Best way to upgrade the local repository from 11.7.3 to 12.2.3.3 DS 3

Hi, we are going to upgrade our DI 11.7.3 to DS3 - 12.2.3.3 in Sep. I found out there are different ways to upgrade the local repository from the SAP doc and tech support. I try to find a best and safe way to do it. If anyone had experince and inputs on this. It would be great appreciated. It seems there are these options:
we all agree that need to back up the repostiry db, and export the repository to atl file.
Option 1:
Upgrade the repository during the Data Services installation. But the tech support said there are times where this does not work as expected and Option 2 below needs to be implemented.
Option 2:
a) Export the local repository, via 11.7.3 Designer, to an ATL file.
b) Uninstall 11.7.3.
c) Create a new database in SQL Server to use with 12.2.3.3. (Optionally, use the existing 11.7.3 database. If you do, make a backup of it before making any changes).
d) Install Data Services 12.2.3.3 and reference the database created in step "c" above during installation (select the Create option).
e) Log in to the new local repo, via 12.2.3.3 Designer, and import the ATL that was exported in step "a" above.
Option 3:
a. Create a new database u2013 20 MB space
b.Create a new repo in 11.7.3 point to ds_local via Repository Manager (click create)
c.Log in 11.7 designer and Repository import from out.atl
d.Install 12.2.3.3 without upgrde the repostory
e.use epository manager in 12.2.3 to upgrade the new repository

If you import the 11.7 atl into a 12.2 Designer you will face a warning message like this:
"The version 11.7 of the ATL file <c:\export.atl> is lower than the repository version <12.2>.
To update an ATL file, import it into a repository of the same version then ugrade that repository"
So, the correct method to upgrade the Data Integrator 11.7 repository to Data Services 12.2.x is the following:
- Export the complete Data Integrator 11.7 repository to ATL.
- Create a NEW Data Integrator 11.7 Local Repository.
- Import the ATL created in step 1 to the NEW Data Integrator 11.7 Repository. At this point you have two identical local repositories.
- From the Data Services 12.2.x system, open Repository Manager.
- Enter the Database connection information to the NEW repository created in step 2.
- Select UPGRADE, to upgrade this repository to support Data Services 12.2.x.
- Log into Data Services Designer to start using this Local Repository.

Upgrade OWB 3i repository to OWB 9i

I tried to use to Repository Assistant client version 9.0.2.56 to upgrade/create new repository. However I keep getting the error message as "INS0003: OWB Repository Installation cannot continue without DBA privileges. Connect as DBA and use option Create a New Warehouse Builder Repository to continue the process ". But I did put SYS user id and password there.
I also tried to use Repository assistant client version 9.0.3.33.0 to upgrade the existing OWB 3i repository. It's giving me the error message of " This Repository cannot be upgraded to add more languages to support object translations. You must have a version 9.0.3.0.1 repository to upgrade. Version of OWB Repository found 3.0.0.2.0 " However in the HELP, the upgrade function is only for OWB 3i migration to OWB 9i. And the "Add More Languages to Support Object Translations" is the default selection. I can't deselect it.
Does anyone may have any clue of this? I appreciate if you may share with me.

In order to migrate from OWB3i to a later version, you would have to export the MDL file from OWB3i and import this into the later OWB version. If you choose to use version 9.0.2.56.0, then you have to use the MDL migration utility in the menu to do the migration. Note however that we have already de-supported this version of OWB. Current version is 9.2.0.2.8 for which there is a patch 9.2.0.3 available, about to release 9.2.0.4. Notice that there is a significant difference between OWB3i and 9.2. However, migrated procedures, when re-generated, should run fine. Consider checking out http://otn.oracle.com/products/warehouse/pdf/OWB_RuntimeChanges.pdf for changes in the runtime environment (this applies to 9.2 also).
In the 9.0.3 release of Warehouse Builder we support multiple languages in an existing repository. To add supported languages, you would re-run the repository assistant against an existing repository. This is the message you see. We do not support in-place repository migration from OWB3i for the migration to later releases.

How to upgrade a 6i Repository to the latest release

Hi,
does anybody know, how to upgrade a 6i Repository to it's latest release?
We have version 4.0.52.1 (release 4) installed and we want to install relase 4.4.
Following the installation/upgrade guide, I still got the problem, that the upgrade button
is greyed out! In Metalink, I found some hints pointing to the fact, that in this case the
repository does not need an update but looking at the bug fix list, of course my descision should be
to upgrade/update the repository!

Solved! This was my fault! I was a little bit confused about the ORACLE_HOME directories!

After upgrading to 3.6.8 none of the plugins load even though there are updates available. The updates will not install and even though the error states to look at the console error log there are no errors listed in the log.

I have been having the same issue for the last two weeks. No real indication as to why it ever began other than I had turned off my router and Airport Extreme Base Station off for a weekend while I was away from my place.
iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, all have no issues at all with my Airport Extreme Base Station. Can stay connected throughout my living room, bathroom, bedroom, no issues whatsoever.
My 5 month old MacBook Pro 2.66 GHz Core i7 Airport is sometimes perfect, able to connect, DHCP, and browse without issue. Then, for no reason, I won't be able to join my wireless network, or when I can join, I can't pick up an IP address. And then it will connect, pick up and IP, and then it won't browse. No real rhyme or reason to when this will happen, or when it works.
I thought that it was an issue with my MacBook Pro, but then my sister visited with her brand new MacBook Pro 2.26 Intel Core 2 Duo, and while a month ago she was able to connect, DHCP, and browse without issue, this weekend she had all of the same issues I was having.
My XBOX 360 and MacBook Pro have absolutely no issues with the wired connection. Only my WAN seems to have this issue.
Did you ever find anything more to this?

Hi,
Whatever the other two friends have explained is correct. We do kernal upgrade only on CI when the Operating systems of the CI and the Application Instances are same.
if the CI and AI are in different operating systems then we may have to upgrade kernel in both CI and AI.
Sapcpe.exe would synchronize the kernel only when the SAP systems have homogenous OS.

Upgrading secure zone

Hi all,
I am looking to create a free trial secure zone and let users upgrade to a paid secure zone after 2 months.
When i pre-populate the fields with their username and email (the user will be logged into their trial account to access this form), when they submit the form, does business catalyst automatically add the new secure zone to the existing account, such that the account that the current user has will be subscribed to 2 secure zones?
Also, is it possible to program it such that the system will automatically send a notification via email when the user's subscription is about to expire? Like 2 weeks in advance,,

After WAAS 5.3.1 upgrade Report Central not working...

Updated from 5.2.1 to 5.3.1 a little over a week ago. Noticed that my automated summary report was no longer being sent. When trying to access Report Central (on the CM) there is nothing listed on the page except some header text "Report Templates" and an informational note "Pre-5x completed reports will be shown in old format".
Is anyone else encountering this issue? I will probably open a case, but wanted to see if this is a general problem.

Apple does not support down grading iOS. We cannot help you with that issue.
It is always a good idea to make sure that expensive apps which you rely upon for work or school are compatible with a new version of iOS before haphazardly upgrading to the new version.

You can either use the User Information System (=> ABAP transaction SUIM) or the Audit Information System (=> ABAP report RSUSR006) to identify users which have not been logged onto the system for some time - irregardless the authentication method being used (e.g. password or SSO: SNC, SAP logon tickets, X.509 client certificates, ...).
As of SAP NetWeaver 2004s (ABAP 7.00) you can define a "maximum idle usage time period" (specifically) for passwords (different thresholds possible for "initial" and "productive" passwords). If the threshold is exceeded the password will become unusable ("expired"). In such a case the admin has to set a new password for the effected user (and the user will have to change that password on the next subsequent logon). That's described in <a href="http://service.sap.com/~iron/fm/011000358700000431401997E/0862989">SAP note 862989</a>.

I upgraded my iPad to iOS 6. Apple removed YouTube without asking, and to reinstall it, Apple asks me to enter several idiotic security questions. WHY?!?!?!?!?! Yes - the YouTube app previously built in to iOS was removed. Google and Apple ended their agreement for Google to supply it.
There are several YouTube apps available in the Apps tore, including one by Google, and the mobile version of YouTube also works quite well in Safari.
The security questions are not directly related to the iOS upgrade, but are part of advanced security measures on your AppleID. And yes you will have to set them prior to using the App store. Everyone with an AppleID has been through this process over the last 6 months or so. It makes our AppleIDs more secure, and that certainly overrides any perceived inconvenient you think is caused. Thats the way it is. Really doesn't matter if it "gets on your nerves".

I am webmaster for a clients website. I used the Basic plan to test for the client. They are happy with the service
and would like to upgrade to Premium.
I had paid and set up the Basic account. If they purchase the upgrade does the account and forms remain unchanged?

This is tricky. The account is attached to a specific Adobe ID and uses your credit card. If you upgrade the account it will just charge your credit card.
Are they going to take over the Adobe ID? If so I suggest you have them change the password and change billing information to their own before doing the upgrade.
