  • How can I determine what sites are being referenced within Central Admin Upgrade and Migration Manage Databases Upgrade Status?

When I go to Central Admin > Upgrade and Migration  > Manage Databases Upgrade Status, I have 2 content databases which have the status:
Database is up to date, but some sites are not completely upgraded.
How can I determine which sites are not completely upgraded?

Manage Databases Upgrade Status will provide you all active and offline DB details, you can get same result
    using below PowerShell cmdlet.
Get-SPDatabase and Get-SPContentDatabase will provide all active database/Content DB in Farm which include Service application db, central admin DB.
    Get-SPDatabase | Format-Table Name, ID
Coming back to your question, if you find that there are some site are not completely upgraded then run below command and understand the cause if issue on specific DB.
    Test-SPContentDatabase WSS_ContentDB_Name
If you find any missing file issue in DB then resolve these issue to upgrade content database.
(verify all customizations referenced within the content database are also installed in the web application. This cmdlet can be issued
against a content database currently attached to the farm, or a content database that is not connected to the farm )
    Use the Upgrade-SPContentDatabase cmdlet
to resume a failed database upgrade or begin a build-to-build database upgrade against a SharePoint content database
    Upgrade-SPContentDatabase WSS_Content

  • SahrePoint Server -Upgrade Status Failed

    Hi,
On our SharePoint server 2010, I noticed that there are 2 Failed upgrade. ( Central Admin > Upgrade Status)
Could you please let me know what are the steps to fix it?
    Thanks,
    Kate

    Thanks Jason,
I'm new in the company and don't know the history of how the upgrade has been done.
The reason I'm researching is, there is a problem with synchronization with Active Directory and I think it maybe because of the upgrade issue!
I also found the Application Event Log error below.
Error ID 1004: The resource 'D:\SharePoint 2010\14.0\Service\Microsoft.ResourceManagement.Service.exe' does not exist.
This means, the Network Service account does not have rights to the %programfiles%\Microsoft Office Servers\14.0 folder so, the User Profile Synchronisation with
Active Directory does not run properly.
The solution is to grant read access to the Network Service account to the  ...\14.0 folder.
    https://support2.microsoft.com/kb/2473430?wa=wsignin1.0
But I cannot find %programfiles%\Microsoft Office Servers\14.0 folder. Instead
there is a folder in D drive: 'D:\SharePoint 2010\14.0 and I granted read access to the Network Service account to this folder and ran Full synchronization but still not a joy.
    Could you please advise me?
    Thanks

  • Upgrade Status Questions

My upgrade status says I'm eligible for an upgrade now and an additional upgrade in May. So does that mean if I upgrade my phone now, I have to renew my contract for two years and then another two years if I upgrade it (like change to another phone) again in May so the total would be 4 years? Is there a time limit to the upgrade discount offer? I don't upgrade it now or in May, when will it expire? I think the second upgrade has an expiration.

I've been told the exact opposite, both on the phone and via email from customer service.  That they are not taking away a current upgrade, but after you use it, you will be enrolled in the new plan.
In other words, you get to use the one you have as long as you're enrolled prior to the 16th.
     1.  All customers who activate / upgrade on a qualifying plan prior to January 16th, 2011 are enrolled in NE2 (New Every 2) and eligible to use the NE2 discount for up to six months from the date they become eligible.
    2.  Any customer who uses an NE2 credit or Annual Upgrade after  January 16, 2011 will no longer be eligible for either program.  On March 6, 2011, VZW systems will be updated to reflect this.
    3.  All customers who exercise the NE2 or Annual Upgrade option on or after January 16th will receive a letter notifying them that it was their last NE2 or Annual Upgrade.
    4.  Business customers continue to receive either the two-year corporate matrix tiered device pricing or two-year retail device pricing per contract.
    5.  Customers will now be eligible for promotional pricing after 20 months on a 2-year contract and 10 months on a 1-year contract.

  • Cannot get phone upgrade status

Everytime I try to get upgrade status of my phones online I get a page that says this service is not available at this time. This has been going on for over a month. Can anyone help?

    RANDERSO2 & HelloKitty
As Leiko27 posted, you can dial #UPG to check your upgrade date.
As for trying to verify it via My Verizon online, have you tried to access the page from a different computer? Did it give the same response? Do you have problems accessing any other links/pages on our site?
If so, please PM me and I would be happy to get some details from you in order to get the online portion working for you.

  • Company upgrade status invalid

    Hi Experts
I am upgrading a database from SAP 2007 to 8.81PL05. During the testing stage of the upgrade wizard, it returns an error: company upgrade status is invalid. the sap note is 1343073.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    HI
As per the SAP note 1343073,
Make sure that you are upgrading the backup of the original database but not a database that has already gone through an upgrade process.
If you are upgrading the original database, but still receive this error message, create a message under the component "SBO-BC-UPG" and ask for support from SAP. Attach to the message the link to the upgrade log file.
Find the upgrade log file in the default log folder at "%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\SAP\SAP Business One\Log\UpgradeWizard", or from other folders that have been configured in "B1_Install_Folder\Conf\b1-config-path.txt".

  • Esa upgrade status - how to verify

im just wondering how do we verify the upgrade status from the cli incase we accidentally close the putty or teraterm.
basically i use cli on firmware upgrade.
    anyone?
    thanks,
    agl

    Hello Agl,
the upgrade will stop instantly once the terminal window is closed. This is because at the end of the upgrade, there is an additional question if to reboot now, and only after this has been entered the upgrade will do some final adjustments, and then reboot. With a closed window this would not be possible, so that why theupgrade terminates. You'd have to reopen another session, and start it from there again.
    Hope that helps,
    Andreas

  • Upgrade Status incorrect

    Hello,
the upgrade status for one of my phones is incorrect  It reads as "Upgrade Available on 12/07/15", when in fact the phone is available for upgrade now.
How can I get this status corrected?
    Thanks,
    Tom

I'm just another customer - so no, I cannot correct this.
If you returned the phone within the 14 day window, the upgrade eligibility *should* have been reset, but it appears it did not.    I would call customer service (800)-922-0204, press 4 for "Other options", say "Agent" at the prompt, and get a rep who can help you get this done.  Or go into a corporate store (use the locator on the top right corner of this page to be sure it is a corporate store vs an authorized or premium reseller) and see if they can do this.
Your best bet is with a rep on the phone though.

  • Service Pack Update Upgrade Status showing failed

I have SharePoint 2010 Server. I upgraded the same to SP2. In upgrade status it shows failed but once I run command
    (get-spserver $env:computername).NeedsUpgrade.
It shows false. How to check if patch is successful?
Please remember to mark the replies as answers or vote as helpful if they help.

    Hi,
From your description, my understanding is that upgrade status shows failed when you upgrade SharePoint, but when you run PowerShell Command, it shows “false”.
Have you run the SharePoint Configuration wizard again after the status shows failed,  then check if it will show successful status?
As upgrade status is failed, you should check if there are some error message in your USL log.
In addition, you could check the version of SharePoint if it is upgraded to the correct version number.
    Best Regards

  • LG Extravert upgrade status is "user rejected"

I checked My LG Extravert software upgarde status under Menu > Settings > Phone Info > Software Updates > Status I see:
    Source: Verizon Wireless
    Name: LG_VN271ZV2_TO_ZV4
    Status: User Rejected
    Code: 401
    Date: Apr 7, 2012
    Time: 3:34pm
When I do Menu > Settings > Phone Info > Software Updates > Check New it searches ("Connecting") and then just goes to the home screen.
According to http://support.verizonwireless.com/pdf/system_update/lg_extravert_instructions.pdf it shoudl give me teh options to do an OTA User Initiated update.
What does the stutus "User Rejected" mean and why can't I update?
I have removed battery and replaced as well as done a Master Reset but still same result when I try to do an OTA User Initiated update.
Thanks in advance for any help ....

    Thanks for your response.
In the end the reason for the device not being found via USB was it was not set for Modem Mode.
I discovered this advice this out this afternoon from a posting in a mobile phone forum; however I appreciate that you were able to find this out and let me know.
Once I did that the update worked.
The LG VN271 manual, the Verizon website, the LG website, and several phone calls to Verizon and LG customer support did not produce this piece of information!
I am still very curious about why the OTA update did not work.
I have attached a page from the LG Extravert manual that explains OTA software updates.
    According to:
    http://support.verizonwireless.com/pdf/system_update/lg_extravert_instructions.pdf
    and
    http://support.verizonwireless.com/system_update/extravert.html
this phone should have the ability/options to do an OTA User Initiated update.
Why though it didn't work this way I am not sure.
    Thanks again for your help,
    Brian

  • Buying phone from friend affect my upgrade status

If i buy a phone from my friend will i have to wait another year before i can update again?  Buying this new phone from her would make me have to switch to a data plan but i think that's it.  Please help

If a phone is flagged as lost or stolen, I believe that only the owner calling in and reporting that they have retrieved the phone can remove the flag.  If the ESN is blocked because money is still owed on the account, the owner paying up would remove the issue.  You can always check an ESN with Verizon by calling their CS, and you should do this before you pay for ANY used phone.

  • My Sites database status changed to "Database is up to date, but some sites are not completely upgraded."

We have a brand new SharePoint 2013 farm which we just put into production. As users have begun creating their My Sites, the My Sites web application database changed to a status of "Database is up to date, but some sites are not completely upgraded."
    Huh?
Prior to deploying to production, we had some test users that had created My Sites, and everything was fine. The database status was "No action required".
Anyone know why the creation of My Sites would cause the database status to flip to this warning?

HI Kleung,This seems to be that after the patch upgradation some of the sites are not upgraded properly. Please check the below thread that exactly talking about the issue that see in your enviornment.
    http://expertsharepoint.blogspot.de/2014/03/data-base-is-up-to-date-but-some-sites.html
First of all, to identify what site collection doesn't got upgraded.
             Run: stsadm.exe -o localupgradestatus > upgradestatus.txt
    or
PSConfig.exe -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -force -cmd applicationcontent -install -cmd installfeatures  (Run from one of the WFE server)
In below as you see, there no site collection that need upgrade. If you have any, you can identify
them by searching by word "Needs upgrade" in this file.
Secondly, run the command in the Power Shell:
For resuming the upgrade, you’ll need the ID for the database :
    Get-SPContentDatabase -Identity <your content database name>
When you got the GUID for the database you can then resume the upgrade
             upgrade-spcontentdatabase -id <database
    GUID>
Finally, check the upgrade status by running stsadm again:
    stsadm.exe -o localupgradestatus > upgradestatus.
    Thanks
